After reading multiple good reviews, I decided to give the The Skin Center in Mt Lebanon a try...Big Mistake! I had went in on April 20,2016 for a free consultation, if that's what you call it! Once in the back, I spoke with Kym a total of maybe 5 minutes before basically she rushed me into my initial idea of getting microdermabrasion. She stated quickly and finished within a total of maybe 10 minutes later, quite a quick procedure for $170. At the end she hurried me out no instructions other than don't be in the sun that day and I would have some peeling in a few days. After 2 days my skin looked exactly the same with no peeling! I called back and got the "old run around" and no return call as of yet( left 2 messages with Kathy-office manager ). My advice, save your money not worth the way you get rushed or the results! I received better results from a $50 microdermabrasion from a local spa!! less Update: 05/20/16 Kathy returned my call and offered a complimentary microdermabrasion due to my unpleasant experience before. I went today and Lois performed the procedure and she did a phenomenal job! I'm very pleased and suggest Lois, if you ever have this procedure done.

I'm from Southern California, so I'm no stranger to good and bad botox. Caitlin de la Cruz, NP is a fantastic injector! My first time having botox was at The Skin Center and I was reassured that a Nurse Practitioner would be taking care of my treatment. Caitlin was patient in talking me through the process and helped me feel confident that I would not leave the office looking fake. She was conservative the first time around so she could learn how my body reacts to the injections. Moving forward with that knowledge and experience Caitlin has been able to make things look even better! I feel confident, heard, and well taken care of when stopping in to see Caitlin :)

Just had my first ever lip injection treatment!!!! And when my rating says "LOVED IT", I really mean it! Upon walking in to the Medical Spa in Mt. Lebanon, I was immediately greeted by two kind young women, Diane and Abby. Shortly after I was taken back with my injector, Debbie. She really listened to my ideas and I showed her my goal lip shape (I've always had an embarrassingly thin top lip). She explained the process that she would be taking to help me achieve my look and we were off! After the treatment, I was so happy to see that she had given me exactly what I was looking for. Now, I won't lie- I was nervous but Debbie's capable hands made me feel completely at ease and I am so happy that I am really looking forward to coming back for some other services.

I have had a couple procedures conducted at the Mt. Lebanon facility. Although the staff and doctors were so nice and accommodating, I really never saw any results. I've had Botox......didn't really see a difference. I've had Ultherapy, which was extremely painful. Never saw any results. I've had the Light Laser for facial spots which worked a little but the spots came back pretty quickly. And most recently, I had Coolsculpting performed on my inner thighs (I was really rooting for this one!). I had the procedure performed twice, which they recommended, and its been over 4 months and no improvement. Soooooooooooo bummed. I am sure a lot of patients have great results and I wanted to give it a chance but unfortunately, it does not work for everyone. Just be aware of this. It's not cheap and unless you follow up with your results, they will not. Good luck to everyone else!

Let me start by saying I’ve gone to the Skin Center for fillers for a few years without issue- however, my microblading experience there has been absolutely terrible. I had issues with Grace from my initial appointment when she wouldn’t listen to me about the shape I wanted. I then followed the after care instructions to a T and my end result was faded, feathered, strokes. I was assured this would change with my touch up appointment in 2 months. I believed them and came back. Same subpar results. After a few months when I had almost no color left, I called to ask about it after I did some research and found out their aftercare instructions of putting petroleum on the eyebrows is widely regarded as harmful to the healing process. They told me to come in and “let Grace take a look.” I said I was hesitant and asked to see someone else but the receptionist assured me it would be fine. So I went in, she sat me down and immediately started working with no consultation about my concerns, shape or how to get a different result. I tried to stop and talk to her about it but she blazed through. I probably should’ve just gotten up and left as soon as she touched me but I was trying to be agreeable and polite. In the end, I gave them another $200 for a service I didn’t want and now I look like Peter Gallagher. My eyebrows are way too thick, way too dark and I can only hope they fade away in a few months like her other work has. I voiced my concerns to management before the visit, after the visit and even in an email the next day because I really couldn’t believe I was continually being delivered such an inferior service at a place where they know me by name when I walk in. I’ve spent $1k in 6 months on a service you can get elsewhere comparably, if not better, for $400. Needless to say, I’ll be going somewhere else for all my treatments from now on.

I had such an awesome experience at the Skin Center-Mount Lebanon office last week! After having a conversation with Lori to help determine what I was wanting to accomplish at my appointment, I went in for a chemical peel, but after discussion with Debbie (Esthetician) she recommended that I wait until after my upcoming Florida vacation to have that done because the sun will be too harsh on my fresh skin. It was kind of her to think of that and we postponed that particular appointment. With the education and conversations with Debbie, I decided to go ahead and have Dermafillers and Restylane because I had been thinking about having the injections for some time now. I jokingly told the nurses that “I don’t want to look tired all the time, even though I am” and they completely understood what I was talking about. They placed the Restylane injections under my eyes and Botox in the corners where my crows’ feet have formed. I also got lip fillers that completely brought my lips back! The pain was minimal, but the results were instant and amazing. My husband immediately noticed when I got home and said that I looked younger and fresher. The quality of care I received at the Skin Center was top-notch and the friendliness and cleanliness of the office cannot be beat. Because I am so satisfied with my experience at the Skin Center, I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I’ve been to the Skin Center most recently for my lips, and for my breast augmentation. I’ve tried the Mt Lebanon location, and the express SC in Studio Seven. Both of the nurses i’ve had were incredible with their craft, knowledge of it, and made me feel like they’ve known me my entire life. I always get a little extra plump in my upper lip (every 4-6 months) and i never have to worry about them being too big! they gave me their cards if i had any questions or complications and i left feeling so great!

I have had the most wonderful experience at the Skin Center in Mount Lebanon with Tori! I previously had Botox and lip augmentation at several other places in Pittsburgh over the past 5 years, but Tori was by far the best with her injections & the least painful, and I have had such lovely aesthetically pleasing results. At first I was completely spastic about what I wanted to have done, and she ended up recommending a different Juvéderm lip filler, Volbella, rather than Ultra, for my lips which looked much more natural rather than a duck bill, and some Juvéderm Voluma for my cheeks, which is psychotically expensive, but ultimately I got a really good deal! I used the 15% off first-time services and the buy three syringes get one free deal, and used Brilliant Distinctions points. Also the Botox was super inexpensive because of everything else I did, and it was painless and perfectly placed--very important to me because I once had a droopy eyelid for three months! I even went back a week later and had my under eyes filled, again by Tori, which shows some real trust because a needle going anywhere near your eyes could definitely be scary! But I was not scared at all in her capable hands. My results are fantastic - I turn 40 in a month but I look barely 30! I really recommend going to the Skin Center in Mt. Lebo--the ladies are all so nice and Tracey at the front desk is great as well. Let's stay gorgeous, ladies!

I booked an appointment for a consultation and same day got in to speak with Nora the esthetician. The office was very welcoming and professional- Diane at the front desk was incredibly helpful and sweet- and Nora was incredibly knowledgable and down to earth, she gave a ton of different tips and tricks that could help with my specific concerns. I booked a chemical peel and walked away with some products to help with my skin issues- I highly recommend visiting this office if you are considering any type of treatment. I look forward to being a return client! :) Update: I just got my second Chemical Peel with Nora and of course it was a dream. I originally booked my appointment for IPL but changed my mind HALFWAY into the appointment (I’m an idiot)..... Nora of course was super gracious and did a chemical peel instead. Always happy and cannot wait to do IPL in the winter.

Recently I received a Hydrafacial from Ryan at the Skin Center in the Mt. Lebanon location. She was amazing! She explained to me exactly what would happen, which made me feel extremely comfortable. I have had many procedures at the Skin Center. I appreciate Dr. Brandy's surgery staff. I have been going to the Skin Center for years and have had great results . . . UNTIL I tried the bio identical product. I have felt worse by the day. The cost for a few blood tests and a few minutes with the "practitioner" is extreme. Nothing is covered with the $700 fee. It has been months and I am worse off than when I started. It may take months (as I was recently told) to get the correct formulas. However, every time you visit, get a NEW test it comes with a steep price. It may cost me thousands. I am very displeased. I also bought out dated vitamins (which were replaced, thank you) and the person I was going to left. So now I would have to pay to see the new replacement (at a cost) and go through the process again. I am between a rock and a hard place. Just loose the $700 (a wild price for a few minutes of talk and blood work) or spend hundreds more for something that may not work.

The Skin Center is incredible!! From the moment I walked in, I felt that I was the star of the show. I went to both the Mount Lebanon office and Wexford. The reception ladies were very welcoming and sweet. I had no wait at all and was serviced at my appointment time. Louis performed laser hair removal for me and it has been LIFE changing! She is a true professional and super sweet. But I am truly amazed at my results, I pretty much never have to shave and I have only done three treatments. I’m also amazed at the variety of therapies they offer there. Thanks Skin Center!!

Jill was my provider when I got my lips done and she was incredible. She was so focused on every little detail and made sure they were absolutely perfect. Debbie was my provider when I received two treatments of kybella. Kybella was a treatment that I was unfamiliar with initially. I had originally come in looking to discuss options for a more chiseled jawline. Debbie walked me through options and explained that for me, kybella would be the best choice and would give me great results. I can't say enough great things about my experience at the Skin Center! I've been going to Debbie for lip injections for a couple years now (every 4-6mo). She is fabulous! My lips are symmetrical and fuller, but still natural looking. I love that she makes suggestions based on her expertise, but never judges or disregards my opinion. The procedure is slightly uncomfortable but is minimized by her technique and quickness. I always leave the Skin Center feeling happy and beautiful!

I had 2 procedures done at the Skin Center and I am going back for a botox injection that is complimentary from Dr. Brandy. I had a breast augmentation done and could not be happier. Dr Brandy is seriously amazing. He is thorough, and tells it how it is. You never feel pressured to get the surgery done, actually they kinda defer you from doing it unless you are 100% sure! They gave you ample time to think about your decision and never pressured you. The price is fair for the amazing expertise you receive and the attention you get from your own PA during your return visits. Erin, my PA, was excellent, knowledgeable, and sweet! She always says call her with any questions even if I am just sore and nervous. I HIGHLY recommend them for any procedure and can't wait to continue to go to them for minor or major things!

I have had amazing results with the skin center! I get the derma pen and I’ve never seen my skin so radiant. It evened out the texture of my skin and help tremendously with acne/acne scarring. Jill is my girl and is so welcoming and really cares about my comfort. I have gotten 4 dream pen treatments now and I prefer them over anything else. There is little to no downtime so I can go to work directly after. Jill gives me her card with contact info so if I have any questions after the treatment I can easily get in touch.
