I'm a 60 year old professional woman . Dr. Storm was the staff emergency room Dr. on call that dreadful Sunday in June when I broke my hip. I should say re- broke my hip. Dr. Storm had to take out hardware that I had in my hip and replace it with new hardware. The surgery was a success. However, I have never experienced such pain in my life. Dr. Storm immediately after surgery placed me on 5mg. of hydrocodone 4 times a day. That was it! I did not sleep for 3 weeks because of the intense pain I was forced to bear. I feel a Dr. has an ethical duty to help ease the trauma of acute pain. I feel like I was a victim, caught in the crosshairs of WV's battle with opioid addicts. As a patient I was treated in such an inhumane way, as a patient with acute pain, that I never want to deal with the medical professionals in this state again.

I got fantastic care from Dr. Storm. He stabilized my broken fibula and followed up regularly to verify it was healing properly. Great work!

I too experience a traumatic injury which will last my entire life. I live in constant pain and feel that I have been mistakenly been accused of a druggie. (OR AT LEAST that is how the make you feel.) There's no reasoning with them. Now, years later past Dr Storm and Dr Bacha's opinion I have no treating physician nor pain management. However, I I eat plenty of aspirin. (Which we know will kill you. Thanks docs & WV)

I saw him one time the whole year he was treating me, I'm in total pain,Still can't walk on that foot,I stand more then 10 minutes on my right leg ,My ankle starts to swell,Hurts from hell !!! F*** that!
