Dr. Harris performed Carpal Tunnel Release (CTR) surgery on my left hand on April 25, 2017. I had been diagnosed with severe Carpal Tunnel. My left hand hurt me so bad I could not sleep at nights. Dr. Harris explained the entire procedure to me in terms I could understand. On the day of the surgery he told me that he would be with me all the way. After the surgery all my pain was gone. He sent me home with a prescription of pain meds that I didn't have to use because there was no pain. I find Dr. Harris to be a very "down to earth" doctor that is very easy to talk to. If you are looking for a real pro to work on your hands you should talk to Dr. Harris. You will not be disappointed.

The entire carpal tunnel surgery experience was great! Access was quick - Dr. Harris saw me two days after my first call, other hand specialists were not available for a month. Of note, he apologized for my 5-minute wait. The surgery was quickly scheduled for the next week. The surgery experience was remarkable - he used minimal anesthesia, so I was able to observe the surgery. I appreciated his verbal observations as he performed the operation, and when done, he personally called my wife. The surgery started at 7:30AM and we left the hospital at 9:30AM. The results - recovery was very quick, my hand is very functional, the pain and tingling almost gone. His humble personal touch was very nice. I highly recommend Dr. Harris for your carpal tunnel issues.

Dr. Harris did a wonderful job. I went to get some tattoos removed. He was also the only person I dealt with, not like other doctors who have assistants help you. He was able to give me a realistic time frame and idea about the procedure and the healing process. He was very accommodating and did what ever he could to remove as much as possible. I also previously went to another doctor prior, to have the tattoos lasered off. The lasers DO NOT WORK, wasted over a year for minimal results with the lasers. I highly suggest seeing Dr. Harris. He was able to remove everything I needed in 3 sittings. When I was searching online and calling/seeing doctors, not only did some say they couldn't take care of the tattoos on my hands and fingers, they also wanted to charge me outrageous prices. Dr. Harris has the best prices, he was able to remove my hand tattoo and use a skin graft. He also gave me his personal number so I could text him if I had any questions or concerns when the skin graft was healing. Very great experience and excellent results.

I am so thankful for Dr. Harris. I was in a time crunch to get a tattoo removed. His staff was able to set me up with a consultation ASAP (within 4 business days). I had a small tattoo on my ring finger, which delayed my application for Officer Candidate School for the Army. Because the tattoo was very small, Dr. Harris removed it the day of my consultation. His price for my removal was inexpensive. I was in no pain during the procedure, and it was very quick! I just got my stitches removed yesterday, and I can tell I will have minimal scaring. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Harris. Any laser treatment would have cost more and taken longer.

Dr. Harris is friendly, awkward and somewhat personable, all rolled into one. He's mostly all about his business, but does crack a grin or two here and there. Seems like the kind of gentleman who would never want to hurt or offend anyone. He would probably do just about anything to make you feel good, or please you. We all got great vibes from him. I have been wanting to get fillers in my top lip for many years , investigating it ,researching, and decided to go to Roanoke plastic sugery in person for a visit .the lady at the front desk now I know as RUBY was very judgmental front the start. I started asking questions about a mole that was on my top lip to see if I could get a consultation about how it may look or turn out. Ruby then stated a consultation price which was fine then followed with a" well you know it is $850 right?! !!!! " I said that's fine .... she said with attitude "it's temporary!" I again said that's fine and kept trying to even joke w her about me not having a visible top lip . She said "its 35 for a consultation!!!" Again I said that's fine . But the way she kept cutting me off and not even trying to have a conversation or give information it seems she did not want me there period and acted almost as if I was bothering her. It was around 4:00 pm on a Wednesday and absolutely nobody was in the office answering only one dr in the back.she kept looking at the way I was dressed which I ignored at first but when she continued and asked "so do you want to make an appointment or not ?" I felt very bothered and unwanted so I said I didn't know that I would actually go somewhere else I think .... then before I could even get to my car my emotions over took me so I called the office and ruby picked up I asked if anybody else was there and she said no and just silence over took the phone and I said well can someone please call me back she didn't want to take my number and I told her you're not even asking for my number She reluctantly took it down and I said you know i'm calling because I don't want you to treat other people the way you just treated me .I walked in and you looked at me as if I was nothing and as if I didn't have the money , something out of the Beverly Hills movie. Julia Roberts, and so the people that walk in and have holes in their jeans or maybe they're not dressed to par for her liking are the ones that have millions in the bank . I should know I work at the bank! It was very disappointing,disturbing,and judgmental . I had just come from the gym . You have no idea what's in my accounts . Ridiculous! I will not be back there nor will I ever recommend anyone to go there ! Can't even get past the front door ... that's terrible and very unprofessional !!

I live in New York I drove 8 hours away to meet with Norman for tattoo removal and affter more then 10 laser treatment I do NOTHING but my vist to Norman Harris was the BEST idea I ever had I had to tattoos removed from my body on August 25th 2016. I emailed Norman what they looked like and he answers my question in less then an hour he even called me from his house to ask me question. I went into to his office thinking I was still going to have some ink from the one on my ankle the tattoo was 2x2 but I walked out 2 hours latter with 2 tattoos removed and a happier life ready to start thank you so SO MUCH NORMAN HARRIS YOU ARE GREAT AT WHAT YOU DO. I needed carpal tunnel and trigger release surgery on both hands.(2 fingers on right) My left hand was almost to where I couldn't use it or grip anything. Dr Harris completed surgery on it and it's completely healed and works like a new hand. He did surgery on my right hand 3 weeks ago, just had sutures removed and it's working fantastic and perfect. My daughter took a softball to her face when she was in 6th grade and it split her lip wide open. The Houston doctor stitched it up and then informed us that she'd have a pretty good scar for the rest of her life. Well he was right on one account -- she had a big scar that looked like a semi-surgically repaired hair lip. And it remained that way until she was in college. By that time I knew of Dr. Harris' reputation and I had seen him do wonders on an 'Emergency Room' TV episode so I sent him a couple of close-up photos of her injury. He immediately responded that he could fix it. No caveat, no couching, no "I might be able to improve it" -- just simply "I can fix that." So we flew my daughter to Virginia and to put it simply, Dr. Harris fixed it. With only a local anesthetic and after a surprisingly few minutes of his time, she reappeared, once again with a lip all stitched up. I was a bit skeptical but Dr. Harris was confident it would heal fine. And that's what it did. My daughter went from having a very noticeable facial scar to looking like the beautiful and confident young woman she was. The result was so unbelievable that my big regret is that she suffered through her childhood with a scar that could have been so easily fixed if only I had known of Dr. Harris' surgical skills earlier. Dr. Harris is not just professionally competent he is extremely personable, takes the time to listen and explain alternatives, and really cares about his patients well being. I cannot recommend him enough.

I went to see Dr. Harris for a mastopexy (breast lift). My consult was in January. He was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He was informative about the procedure and what to expect. I left his office with no questions as to what was going to happen during the surgery. We scheduled the surgery for April 2015. When I got to the hospital and was waiting for him to arrive to perform the surgery, I was nervous and anxious. He arrived with the biggest smile on his face and seemed happy. So I had a huge tattoo that I have been lasering for almost 6years and got frustrated because all the inks couldn't come out and it was already leaving a scar on the spot.I went online and started searching for other options for almost a year,I found a lot of places that they do excision but I wasn't too sure how it will works until one day I stumbled on Doctor Norman Harris,s website ,after going through the reviews for about two weeks I called them and scheduled an appointment .This Doctor is just so amazing and wonderful at what he does,his prices are so reasonable and affordable and he is very considerable.He did and excision on my tattoo and one can never tell I had a tattoo on that spot.Eventhough I had to drive 7hours to get it don't .It was worth it .Him and his staffs make u feel very comfortable.After my surgery I drove home feeling really happy after almost five years of feeling very uncomfortable with a bad tattoo scar.I just want to say a big thank you to Doctor Norman Harris and his staffs ,He did a wonderful job and may God continue to bless him and give him more passion in what he does!!

Dr. Norman Harris will be the only person I use in the future for skin related surgeries and spot removals. He did an outstanding job with a spot I had on the tip of my nose and was able to remove a large spot on my son's head (age 10 with previous major physician anxiety) with using a skilled hand, a little humor, and local anesthetic (other doctor's wanted to put my son completely under which Dr. Harris proved was completely unnecessary). Both myself and my son experienced very, very little discomfort from the local anesthetic being administered (at other offices I've visited in the past, this was very painful and burned quite a bit) and after that, the surgeries were completely pain free. His fees were very reasonable and his staff was very friendly. A+++

I had a very bad experience with another Dr. and was very apprehensive about seeing another Dr but it was a surgery that I had to have done. I have got to say I love Dr. Harris and his bedside manner. He is very kind and considerate about your feelings. Dr Harris explained everything wonderfully and I didn't have any questions or concerns when I left his office. In fact when I left I was already scheduled for my surgery. When I got to the hospital for the surgery I was told I would have surgery at 9am, I was being rolled into pre-op by 8:55. Dr. Harris saw me before I went to pre-op and asked if I had any questions and also came to pre-op to see how I was doing. Dr Harris was also there when I woke up. I gotta say he is going to be my Dr.from now on. and I would suggest him to anyone that asks. Thank you also to his office staff. I saw Dr. Harris to improve the appearance of a scar that I received from a childhood accident. The scar, located on the left side of my face, was considerably deep - and I had been told time and time again that nothing could be done to improve it. Dr. Harris proved otherwise! Pleasant experience, well satisfied with the outcome. Dr.Harris removed a sebaceous cysts from my jaw line. Not necessarily a simple procedure as it was in an area with facial nerves and my GP would not touch it. Dr. Harris performed the procedure quickly and without discomfort. The front desk lady was not knowledgeable and is rude. I called a day before my appointment to see if he does a procedure. After being put on hold for 10min she came back saying yeah he will look at you and come up with a plan. After driving over an hour away I find out he does not do the procedure and I waisted gas and time. Dr. Harris and his assistant, Lacey were both so professional and very accommodating. I had a consult with another plastic surgeon in town who dismissed my concerns and did not listen to me. I went to see Dr. Harris for a mastopexy (breast lift). My consult was in January. He was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I had a blemish, about 3/4" on my face, that was later found to be Melanoma, This would require cutting into the left side of my face and I did not want a dermatologist to do the surgery. I had known of Dr Harris, a plastic surgeon, through other Doctors and decided this would be the best option for me. We flew from Sanford, FL to Roanoke, Va and Dr Harris performed the surgery in his office, He sent the blemish specimens to a lab for further evaluation and fortunately he had removed all the cancerous tissue. Just after 3 weeks, the healing is going great and with a slight evidence of a scar. This is amazing as the cut required to remove the cancerous tissue, was 3 1/2 to 4" long. I would strongly recommend Dr Harris for any surgery that would affect one’s appearance. He did a fantastic job!
