I have to see a dermatologist twice a year, and after only two appointments with Dr. Stokar, I'm so happy to have found such a great doctor. Not only is he patient with answering all of my questions, he also was very careful that my procedure went as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately, the staff at this location is unbelievably unprofessional and doesn't listen to the patients. At both of my visits, while sitting in the waiting room, I could hear one of the women behind the desk (Robin, I believe, is her name), do nothing but complain. Literally. She looks miserable when you check in and doesn't even acknowledge your existence. On my last visit, I, along with the rest of the waiting room (and maybe even the floor of the building) had to listen to her screaming at and belittling her coworker about supplies. One example, is that she angrily yelled, "How long have you worked here? You should know better." This went on for close to 4 minutes. (I timed it.) Not only was it incredibly unprofessional, it was also ridiculously uncomfortable to have to witness. Then, after my procedure was complete and the medical assistant (I don't know her name) was cleaning up the room and explaining aftercare, I tried, several times, to explain to her that every time I've had stitches, 10 days is too long to wait to take them out because my skin heals quickly and winds up growing over the stitches. (I know this because I've had upwards of 15 moles removed, as well as a few unrelated surgeries.) She just kept repeating that 10 days is "the norm." I, once again, told her that I understand that but that my skin heals faster than that. I even showed her a scar on my arm that clearly shows where stitches were placed and had to be dug out of my arm. She replied, "Well, these are on your back so... The norm is 10 days." I understand the norm, but I also understand that I know my body and she doesn't. She really needs to listen to the patients before spewing about "the norm." I have two additional moles to be removed, and after that, I'm considering finding another dermatologist. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Dr. Stokar and everything to do with the less than desirable and ignorant staff.

I wanted to schedule an appointment here but I will not be. The lady on the phone for scheduling was very rude. I got confused about what she said on the phone & she yelled at me. The doctors may be nice but I won’t be finding out. Unprofessional.

I should’ve known not to show up to my appointment just by how rude scheduling was to me. Then when I get there after waiting a month Stokar looks at me for two seconds, he didnt take any of my conserns into consideration and sent me on my way. Highly don’t recommend.

In response to a prior post....surgical intervention and proper treatment many times cannot have a predicted “time” that fits the slot. It is not overbooking but intervention and meeting patient needs that cause an excellent physician to fall behind. Dr. Stokar has never neglected to bring my elderly father in when we are having issues and has appropriately managed his care for well over a year. Our family has nothing but gratitude for this physician, his manner and his practice employees. We may have had to wait but we have been perhaps a patient visit that has been given the courtesy of more time than expected to address the issue we are experiencing.

I absolutely love the dermatologist here!! They are extremely helpful and very kind! However, whoever the woman is checking people in was absolutely the worst. She was very edgy and rude. This was my second time visiting so I'm still fairly new them but she did not care. She did not even open her window when I came up and talked down to me. I had a hard time not saying something to her but figured she was not worth my time. So just beware when you enter since she is the first person you have to deal with.

Dr.Worry is absolutely fabulous!! He’s so kind and listens to every single concern you have! The only concern I had was around the check in process. The waiting room was PACKED. I waited over 45 mins in the waiting room but once I was In the room, I saw the doctor very quickly. Overall great place!

I had Basal Cell cancer removed, actually it was the fourteenth separate case on various parts of my body. As always the doctor was professional and did a good job. If I get another case I will make an appointment with them to have it removed.

Dr. Stokar is an excellent dermatologist. If he finds anything suspicious he takes the time to deal with it at that appointment if possible. This may make him get a little behind schedule but I don't mind because I know he will give me the same treatment. I have had small lesions removed and a fatty cyst which another dermatologist would not remove because he thought it would leave a bad scar. Dr. Stokar removed it for me and you really have to look close to see a scar. Thank you for taking time with your patients!

Got to appt. 15min early. Waited in the waiting room for a hour! The waiting area was packed. Can't stand when these offices overbook appts! Like our time means nothing.

Today was the first time I've ever been to this office. I really enjoyed the time I spent with the doctor. He's very thorough and listens really well. He actually said, "what else do you need help with?" Usually doctors are so busy to rush you out of the room I hear, "is that everything?" It was a nice change!

1.5 hours sitting in this waiting room! I was told to be 15 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. What a joke!! My appointment is for 0945. How are they this backed up so early in the morning?! Very poorly run. Very disappointing. Dr. Stokar was very good though. Thorough and informative. Minus the waiting it was good appointment.
