Dr. Zemplenyi is the very best plastic surgeon in Bellevue. He has the experience that is necessary but most importantly, he has the communication skills necessary between doctor and patient. He really cares about his patients and puts them before monetary gain (i.e. he won't sell you an unnecessary service).

I cannot stress enough how wonderful dr.Z Is. He has been working with me to resolve an infection issue. He has seen and treated me on a last minute bases Multiple times. He has come in to help me on his weekend. He calls to check up on me even after his duty day has finished. The issue Has been trying but He has gone above and beyond to make me feel better and help me in any way he can.He is a truly skilled and compassionate dr. And I feel very fortunate that I am in his care. I would recommend him to anyone. He gets 10 stars in my book!

Tummy tuck with abdominal liposuction 09/2018 As someone who has a fear of doctors, I never thought I would learn to admire a plastic surgeon, and I can tell you Dr. Z is a cut above the rest. Every encounter I have had with Dr. Z has been positive, informing and professional. I've consulted at a few of the major Eastside plastic surgery clinics, and the difference with Dr. Z is that he will be the ONLY person you deal with(aside for the front desk staff, who are also lovely). Now that I am 4 months post-op, I feel like I have learned a lot about this process and want to give you a few thoughts to consider when shopping for your plastic surgery clinic: 1. Who did you consult with? Was it a sales person or the plastic surgeon?Who quoted you the price for the procedure? Again, was it a salesperson or the plastic surgeon? If your answer to any of these questions is NOT the plastic surgeon, you need to reconsider your surgeon. There is Little worse in this world for me than taking time out of my day to consult with a plastic surgeon, for a procedure that will cost about the same as an inexpensive car, only to consult with someone dressed like a street walker who has no medical background or expertise to recommend procedures. If this happens to you when you go for your consultation - WALK OUT! 2. At your consultation, assuming it was with the plastic surgeon per #1, did they thoroughly explain their recommendations, or better yet - why they DID NOT recommend other procedures? I have consulted with Dr. Z for a few procedures and he used these consultations as teaching moments, thoroughly explaining what my best options are. I believe my consultation for my tummy tuck was around an hour long, and Dr. Z did a marvelous job of turning his thorough medical background into laymen's terms for me to understand what he was saying - if someone knows what they are talking about, they can break down complex ideas into simple terms anyone can understand. 3. Does your plastic surgeon own their OR? If not, whose OR are you renting from? Who is the anesthesiologist? What assurances do you have that the plastic surgeon you are consulting with is the person who will be performing the procedure? Dr. Z owns his own OR, he checked me into my surgery(literally his nurses stood there while he did all the work lol) and I met the anesthesiologist in person before the procedure. 4. OF EVERYTHING I TELL YOU TO CONSIDER, THIS MAY BE THE MOST IMPORTANT - once the procedure is over, who do you call at 3 am when you fear an emergency? Do you have the plastic surgeons cell number or do you speak with a secretary? THIS IS CRITICAL - MAKE SURE YOUR DOC IS THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM!!! Very common for plastic surgeons to 'filter' emergency calls through secretaries. Dr. Z was there at all hours if we had a question or concern, he actively corresponded with my partner during my recovery and was ALWAYS professional. I feel nothing but fortunate that my first serious plastic surgery experience was with such an excellent doctor and am at a place that I look forward to future procedures.

Dr. Zemplenyi is knowledgeable and does not seem to mind my endless questions in regards to what works, how it works, and what doesn't in the field of cosmetic and plastic surgery. He deftly operated on my daughter and had the best bedside manners that my daughter felt so much better afterward. He is considerate and does not rush to referring procedures that are unnecessary.

I had Nasal Reconstructive / Rhinoplasty surgery for a broken nose and I am very, very pleased with my results. He communicated very well and made sure I understood every step of the process. Pricing was very reasonable as he made a valiant effort to minimize my out of pocket expense and leave the financial burden to insurance. His office staff is friendly and extremely flexible with scheduling. There were two appointments where I called and was able be seen the same day! I highly recommend Dr Z. !

Went here for restylane injections (in the lips) and couldn't have imagined a better experience! Dr. Jan is very friendly and makes what can be a frightening experience very comfortable. He explains everything he is doing and definitely uses the best methods. I can honestly say there was absolutely NO pain when getting these injections. He also stopped during the process to ask for my opinion, if I liked it so far and which part of my lip I would like to put more product. Then he gave his honest opinion as well. 10/10 Would definitely recommend him!!

The staff at Bel Red Center for Aesthetic surgery were great to work with. I had some (quite a few lol) questions prior to my scheduled face lift surgery. They made sure to answer everything in great detail about billing, the process, what to expect etc. Very helpful and kind staff. I feel like they bent over backwards for me. Dr Zemplenyi and his staff are Awesome!! I've had several different treatments done there over the past few yrs and have never been disappointed! He's removed fat from my upper eyelids from a botched fat transfer I'd had with another Dr a few yrs ago, that no other Dr would help me with, to a recent Full face co2 laser resurfacing I had just 3 weeks ago! He will do what it takes to make sure his patients are happy with there results. I trust Dr Z fully and as needed, I will be returning for more treatments in the future:)

I had ever-going issues with all kind of allergies and my sinuses since I was a kid. I've seen numerous ENT doctors and tried every possible medication available with no result. Finally I've ended up in Dr Zemplenyi's office and he made my sinus problems go away. He did sinus surgery for me, removed bunch of polyps and straighten nasal septum. The problem with polyps that they tend to come back after short period of time so after surgery I was still a bit skeptical. Now, more then two years passed since Dr Zemplenyi operated me, and I have no issues with my sinuses. My allergies disappeared, polyps didn't come back and I can finally breathe thru my nose all year round. I highly recommend Dr Zemplenyi for his professionalism and dedication.

Dr. Zemplenyi is great. I first met him around 1998, and he has been my go-to specialist for several major cosmetic procedures I have had since then. I have always been pleased with everything he had done for me, and he has gone out of his way to make sure that I am happy with the results. The most recent visit with him was one such outstanding example. He gave me an entire year to see whether I liked the results, promising to make any adjustments - even a year later! - if I wished. Due to scheduling more than any planning on my part, that is what happened. I was not able to come in for any touch up until about a year later. When I did come in, it was not just a quick job and out the door, but he used all of the resources at his disposal to really spend a lot of his time, along with his staff's time, to do the best job he could. I cannot say enough on his behalf and my confidence in his abilities - something exceedingly important when one considers having permanent work done on one's face - and he remains the doctor whom I will continue to see for any future needs. I hope that he will remain in practice for a long time to come!

Dr Z is is the best. If you had the experience like me dealing with snooty "specialists", who are inaccessible except through their bulldog receptionists...you need not fear that. All his staff is friendly and helpful. He is so personable and makes you feel like no question is silly or bothersome...like talking to a friend or family. Truly amazing. I did liposuction around my waist and upper arms last year and did my upper back this year. The result is super good. I wont be able to lose the stabborn fat around my waist after having 2 babies otherwise. The doctor was super patient and thurough during the preop. The nurses are also really nice and made me feel very comfortable throughout. Most of all the result was exactly as expected. I was wearing 8, now I am wearing 6. I also look better with my upper body. Lipo is more for shaping than weight lossing. It works great postnatal.
