Dr. Vonu and his team (Melissa) are excellent. I had surgery on June 15 and within 2 weeks I felt like I could do anything. The first 7-10 days are the most challenging as your body responds to the surgery. But, by week 4, I was back in the gym lifting weights, running on the treadmill with absolutely no pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vonu to anyone considering this procedure.I saw immediate results and I don't have any scarring.

I had Dr. Vonu do some stitching on my nose following a skin cancer removal procedure. My Dermatologist referred me him, if for nothing else, convenience, since he's literally around the corner. That was fine with me, since I was less than pleased with the services of the plastic surgeon they used previously. Dr. Vonu and his staff were first rate in every aspect. Wait time was totally acceptable, After a friendly greeting, I probably wasn't in the reception area more than 5 minutes. After being taken back, they described what they were planning. Of course, the numbing is always the toughest part, for me anyway, but they made it as comfortable as possible. One thing I really liked was the conversation going on as Dr. Vonu and his assistants did their work. It was relaxing knowing this was such a simple procedure for them, that they kept atmosphere was so casual. It literally felt like a group of friends having a conversation versus some generic doctor closing up a hole in my nose. Unfortunately, I'm fairly prone to skin cancer so I'm sure, eventually, I'll need their services again. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a customer for life.
