His office staff is kind and professional at helping me schedule appointments for me and my family. My favorite is Julie. Always greeted with a smile and kind words. I can't say enough about them. Dr Bahadori operated on my son who was suffering from severe sinus disease snd a deviated septum. He worked on my son for several hours. After a few difficult days, my son, who did not remember a day with a clear sinus passage, suffered from daily headaches and fatigue, and had taste buds that were overpowered by his condition, recovered to much improved breathing and the chronic cranial pressure disappeared. It was a life changer honestly. He missed less school and coukd taste again, too. The previous office visits and post surgical visits were so comprehensive. Dr Bahadori took a lot of time to explain to us the details of my son's condition pre and post op, showing us realtime endoscopic video. The waiting room can be a challenge, but Dr Bahadori is an exceptional and renowned pediatric ENT surgeon to whom even other surgeons refer special cases (including premie and newborn cases) from elsewhere in the East coast. He has a caring and kind demeanor, and gives the time it takes to each patient. To me and to my son, that is worth the sometimes long wait in the waiting room. I have personally had treatment by several of his colleagues in the practice. They are all first rate. It is an exceptional practice.

My child needed to get ABR testing done, so my wife scheduled an appointment with this office to have the testing done. It wasn't until she got there that they informed her that they didn't do the testing, even though she stated that was the reason for the appointment. In spite of all this we still got billed. I received the bill, but was unable to pay the bill immediately due to uncontrollable circumstances. In about a month of the initial bill, I was sent a threatening letter that my account would be reviewed for possibly being sent to collections within 10 business days. The letter was dated on the 6th of that month, but the letter was not postmarked until the 19th of the month. I also received a phone call with the representative relaying the same information. I have been to many, many practices and I have to say this is the first practice that I have seen that is this aggressive with getting a bill paid so quickly after receiving a bill. I think to send out a threatening letter, give a 10 business day mandate and then wait nearly two weeks of the date of the letter to send it, seems a bit odd. Something seems off about this office. It seems like they are more focus on making money than providing a service for customers. My best advice for you all is to find a more professional office.

This is my first time writing a review. I wish I could give this place a zero rating. I got an appointment for my mom which has a serious issue and was hospitalized three weeks ago and the receptionist asked about all the insurance information. After waiting for three weeks and get a day off to take her to Dr.Kim’s office, the manager of the Fairfax office came to me and said they don’t accept Medicaid. She also said they should accept Medicare, but they will not since they won’t be able to charge us for the deductible which is prohibited by law ( bc my mom has a secondary insurance ).NOT ONLY SHE DIDN’T APOLOGIZE ,BUT SHE WAS SO RUDE. I can’t believe there are such irresponsible and rude people working in a doctor ‘s office.

Dr. Bryan McKenzie did surgery on me in their surgery room which is located at on the first floor of their Fairfax office location, was not done at a hospital because I was given a local anesthesia and not put out completely. While he was performing the procedure, he was joking around with the others in the room that were watching the surgery....was like he was trying to entertain them. There were eight people in the room, two of which were there to assist him with the surgery and the six others just onlookers that did nothing but joke around with him. Thought this extremely unprofessional to be clowning around like this while trying to perform a surgery on a patient that expects the surgeon to give 100% concentration on what they are doing.

they let me do what i don't even need, then i was billed for it ! I will have to pay big money for some thing I didnt even need. very rude staff, very rude reception girl. my copay should be 15, the reception girl asked for 30$ and she insisted on it, i tried to explain to her, she gave me a very bad attitude, after many attempts from me, she discovered i was right and she was wrong, does she even know what she is doing ? two words, NEVER AGAIN...

Almost everything I hate about doctors was missing from my experience. I had a 10am appointment: I was brought back to an exam room at... 10AM! The receptionists were pleasant and helpful - not sure where the negative reviews were coming from. The nurse practitioner was engaging and explained everything that was going on, and even though I didn't have an appointment with an MD I still got greeted by one at the end of the appointment. However, I am revising my review from 5 stars to 2 after getting my bill. Almost $500 in charges, not including prescription costs, and none of it actually helped. They scheduled a follow-up to do something else if this didn't work, but I'm not spending $500 a pop to have a nurse practitioner throw spitballs. If this was any other industry, this would border on actionable.

On 11/10/2018, I filled out a form online to request an appointment. I received email confirmation of the request. On 11/11/2018, I received an emailed notice that the appointment request was pending. On 11/15/2018, I called the office to request an appointment. I spoke with a woman who took some information from me and said something along the lines of “I’ll see what is available and get back to you.” I do not remember her exact words, but I do remember thinking, “What an inefficient system...” Today is 12/5/2018 and I have not yet received any further communication from the office about scheduling an appointment.

I think the doctors and the allergy department are very good and if my review was on their services I would give them a 5 star rating BUT their receptionists and phone service is the absolute worst I have ever seen. The front desk is rude, rarely do they act like they care. I fully understand that I am going to a busy office but the front staff could use a better attitude. But the phone service takes the cake as the all time worst! They now have a number 1500 where you can go and leave a request for a call back to schedule an appointment - no calls back. I have been going to the Fairfax office for a couple of years now. It is a good thing that I live less then 4 miles away as in order to make an appointment I have found the ONLY way to make one is to get in my car and drive there and make one in person! How ridiculous and annoying is that? If I did not make my own schedule I would have to go elsewhere as it is not always easy to get there. I am one of those people who call when I really need a doctor too so it just makes it even more annoying. They put you on hold and forget about you, you wait forever to get someone on the phone to schedule an appointment and most of the time you get put on hold again, the people who take your calls have an attitude, their phones are down, they never returned a voicemail. Like I said it is easier to schedule my day to drive there to make an appointment. I need to get my ear looked at so it looks like a trip there this week is my only option - AGAIN - 7-8th time I have had to do that BTW.

We have been seeing Dr. Bahadori for a little over two years. He was the only pediatric ENT who could properly diagnose my newborn, and was able to perform surgery on her at 5.5 months old. She is now 2.5 years old and doing perfectly! He also placed tubes in my son’s and daughter’s ears. He also took his time with my family to discuss any concerns we have had about anything. He truly cares and is a wonderful doctor and man.

Dr Bahadori is hands down the best physician. We had an excellent experience with him and the entire staff. We took our 6 week old son to be evaluated for a possible lip and tongue tie. Dr Bahadori explained everything to us and our options. We decided to have the frenectomy and he did it right there in the office, we didn’t have to make another appointment, and it was extremely fast. He gave us instructions for post care and we knew exactly what to expect. He was interacting with our 3 year old as well the entire time which was so kind and appreciated. Our 2.5 year old son had his tonsils and adnoids removed this week. Dr. Bahadori and his staff could not have provided a better experience for both our son and us. As concerned parents, it’s natural to worry about a child’s first surgery under anesthesia. But Dr. Bahadori answered all of our questions fully, explained the steps of the surgical process clearly and informed us about what to expect during the post-surgical recovery. The entire staff at Otolaryngology Associates is warm and friendly and helped our son feel at ease —Not an easy task with a 2.5 year old. The day of surgery could not have gone more smoothly from start to finish. We received clear instructions for how to care for our son at home and address pain management during recovery. Our son is already breathing much better and resting more comfortably with an even better outcome to come after a full recovery. My wife and I could not be more pleased with our decision to go use Dr. Bahadori for our son’s tonsillectomy. He is simply fantastic and delivers wonderful outcomes for both parents and their children. We heartily recommend Dr. Bahadori and the entire staff at Otolaryngology Associates.

Anyone who has a kid who needs Tonsillectomy or ear tubes has probably heard of Dr. Bahadori! He is the man. Period! I had no doubts in his surgical skills. But when your 3 year old is going to have surgery and go under the knife, as a parent you are going to be nervous. As a surgeon myself I have operated on thousands of patients successfully with no life threatening outcome but surgery has risks and you want to make sure you have the absolute best surgeon who can handle any anatomic variation with calm confidence. Dr. Bahadori was definitely the surgeon we wanted. It was hard to get to see him because he is in demand and has a long wait time but his office staff were so nice and helpful and got us in and scheduled for surgery. They scored an "A" on customer service. Finally the last part of the equation is the surgery center and the Anesthesiologist. We initially wanted to this surgery as a large medical center but Dr. Bahadori has a team of nurses and Anesthesiologists who have this down to a choreographed dance. From walking into the surgery center to leaving after surgery took about 2.5 hours!! That is fast! And the nurses were all fantastic. Finally the Anesthesiologist that took care of us was Dr. Chad Hanes and he could not have been more of a God-send. I mean I was sitting there in pre-op all emotional and trying not to show my emotions but Dr. Hanes put our mind at ease. My wife is an Anesthesiologist so imagine a set of parents one being a surgeon and the other an Anesthesiologist!! That is enough to make any nursing team and operating team nervous but these guys were so calm and confident and caring and compassionate. Finally in he recovery room nurse Sharon McLoud who has been with Fairfax Surgery Center for 17 years was like Santa Clause. Warm and gentle and caring. All in all I cannot rave about Dr. Bahadori and his staff and the surgery center he operates at and his nurses and Anesthesiologists and the whole experience from A to Z enough! And lastly my 3 year old is now for the first time breathing quietly and sleeping and eating well. Could not be happier. If you need a pediatric ENT, trust me, SEE DR. BAHADORI!!!

Took my son in as he has large tonsils. I explained to the doctor his history of snoring, how every doctor he's seen since birth has commented on the size of his tonsils, my wife's medical history of large tonsils (and their eventual removal) and how his pediatrician urged us to get a ENT to look over his tonsil for a sleep study and to consider having them removed. She prescribed a 60 day round allergy medication, "Lets see if this is related to allergies or an irratant that he's been experiencing." I understand that you want to make an informed decision. But when your patient has provided you with 4 years of pediactric observation and a detailed medical history, it feels like my concerns fell on deaf ears. We decided to go with a different association and are much happier.

My son has been a patient of this practice for two years now. I recently had an experience I've never had before ... an appointment got rescheduled. I thought I had taken care of it and so showed up for the appointment on my personal calendar. Turns out it hadn't been rescheduled - no idea where the blame lies and I'm not assigning any. (Keeping up with his tube check appointments between the specialist and pediatrician has kept me busy so I assume it :) ) The office administrator said she could reschedule an appointment for me. I was expecting to have to leave and come back another date and time but she fit me in and I saw the dr. within 7 minutes of walking in. When Dr. Black came in she was very empathetic to my son's drawing away from her when she wanted to look in his ears. And she was patient with me as she gave me the update. Will definitely keep going back - I feel confident in the decisions they have regarding my son and in the knowledge and information they've shared regarding any type of procedures or questions I've posed.

Extremely Unprofessional Staff. Its a shame. The receptionist is very rude and they have no customer service experience. Actually, they are not made for customer service. Whenever, you call them to book an appointment, they behave so badly. Non-cooperative staff and very much ill manner. Dr. Bahadori is the best. He is who our peditritican said he'd take his own kiddos if they needed tubes. We've had one kiddo have 2 different sets of tubes and a partial adnoidtonsillectomy, and soon our other kiddo is getting tubes with him. He is thorough and explains the need for tubes with a great visual. He put off tonsils for our first kiddo as long as we could, trying all other options first, which is super impressive. Would not recommend this Office. Their level of service is poor. Our concerned was never addressed. The Dr did not care to listen. She stepped out the door twice to take a phone call and came back blank of where our conversation was. She had an apprentice and was giving her weird looks while we try to explain the reason of our visit. Never going back there again. To top it off I kept getting expensive bills, called their billing department and the rude woman in charge was not of any help. I had sent the payment and she refused to help. Was sent another bill threatening to be send to collections but the check was cashed long ago. Very disappointed.

The procedure was done in less than 20 minutes and the offending carrot was removed and presented to us with before and after photos of the inside of her lungs. My six-year-old had been diagnosed with Periodic Fever Syndrome. For more than a year he was experiencing a high fever every 6 weeks. Not only was Dr. Bahadori well versed in Periodic Fever Syndrome but he was very clear in explaining the benefit of removing the tonsils and adenoids. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Rubinstein and his staff. I traveled to Fairfax to seek care from him due to a previous botched surgery. I visited four ENT specialists before I decided to have my second surgery. Dr. Mark Rubinstein was very diligent in examining the damage done by the previous surgery and took his time to work with me to coordinate a plan in advance. He explained very thoroughly all options, answered my questions, and set my expectations. My septoplasty surgery was successful and I am very happy with the result. If you are going to have surgery, I've learned the hard way, you must go to the best surgeon, even if it requires travel. They understand what matters is how YOU feel, how YOU react to different medicines and treatments, and what YOU are comfortable with. They are a wonderful group of knowledgeable professionals, who understand the patient comes first. Dr Soltany, especially, takes the time to REALLY listen to everything you say. He questions everything in many different forms, like a Philadelphia Laywer, as he determines exactly what is wrong, and how best to treat it. He has been my go-to sinus and ear/nose/throat guy for almost 20 years. Thank you Dr. Soltany.

Terrible terrible wait... my appointment was at 9:10. Got here 10 mins early. Been waiting an hour and they tell me there are still 3-4 patients AHEAD of me. I usually don't post bad reviews but this was worth posting. I drove 2 hours through traffic to make this appointment on time and this is the courtesy I get. The office is very big, maybe too big to manage all the clientele they have.

This office does good work. Unfortunately when you make an appointment with them they have an incredibly obnoxious automated call system for reminding you about your appointment that calls you over and over and over until you answer. Get rid of that system!

While Dr MacKenzie may be a great surgeon, their follow up is the worst in the Business! I had ear surgery in April. At the first follow up, I waited over an hour and didn't get any questions resolved. When I called back, the nurse was rude and nasty. I made an appointment at the Reston office, hoping it would be better. It was horrible. I waited over an hour and a half before walking out. The office manager did call and was nice but told me that Dr MacKenzie is backed up every day due to overbooking. I kept my next follow up appointment for August 2016. I just got a call that said they had to cancel and please call to reschedule. When I called, she proceeded to tell me that Dr MacKenzie is so booked up. Hello? YOU cancelled my appointment and now you can't fit me in? Absolutely HORRIBLE follow up. He may have done a good job on my ear, but I will never know because their follow up SUCKS and their employees are RUDE! I would not refer them to my enemy!!!

1 star is too kind. Gf went in today, receptionist and billing person was lazy, rude and unprofessional. Belittling a new customer from your own business mistakes will go no where in growing a business. Doctors here should be embarrassed to have someone as rude as Tammy as the front lines to customers. Really busy office but very professional and pleasant staff and knowledgeable doctors. Left with a wealth of information I hadn't been given by other doctors and felt very confident making the decision regarding treatment for my child. Highly recommend.
