I have always been nervous to do a chemical peel due to the downtime and there was absolutely no downtime with this! My skin looked and felt amazing. The Doctors and staff at NOVA Plastic Surgery were warm and inviting and made me so comfortable -- as I had never seen a plastic surgeon before. They were patient with explanations of skin laser laser treatments, explaining the treatments, the side effects, expectations and costs. I had a full-picture of what to expect. They had great follow-through -- reaching out to me via phone and email. I've since had a 2nd appointment, with a 3rd scheduled, and now consider them my go-to place for my skin needs!

While I am happy with the way the upper lids turned out, I am equally unhappy with the lower lids which shouldn't come as a surprise, as I have expressed this several times. After several follow up appointments with Dr. Zahir, I mentioned that my lower lids still had heavy wrinkles. He asked me what I wanted to do about them and when I said that I had already had a lift, his exact words were: "That's news to me!". He didn't remember doing the lower eye lids or even recognize his work! A LITTLE DISCONCERTING IF YOU ASK ME! At that appointment, he suggested that I get fillers in my cheeks, which might help eradicate some of the under eye wrinkles. I agreed, and at my next appointment I had the fillers put in both cheeks to the tune of $2,400.00. My cheeks filled out nicely, but I still have the wrinkles under my eyes. The next suggestion that Dr. Zahir made, was that I go to a spa for facials. He recommended a particular spa, BUT I didn't contact the spa because at this point, I had invested $7,415.00 in my face, and I really didn't want to spend another dime until I was satisfied. That being said, when I contacted NOVA Plastic Surgery, they suggested I come in for a complimentary facial, I thought, what the heck!? I had some sort of reaction and was PUFFED UP FOR OVER A MONTH! After my face felt somewhat normal for a week, I decided to try just a dab (and I mean a tiny dab!) of one of the samples that was given to me. I ended up having another reaction and the side of my face looked like I was in the ring with Rocky Balboa!. That being said, I discarded all the other samples because something in thier products doesn't jive with my chemistry.. I have never had issues like this before, never had reactions to anything before, etc... Dr. Zahir also recommend that I see a dermatologist ...MORE MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET When the puffiness from the first reaction didn't go away for several weeks, I decided that maybe it was something in my make-up. I discarded ALL my make-up and replaced with new. New foundation, new blush, new eye shadows, new mascaras, new eyeliners, which as you know, was not cheap! I feel that if the lower Blepharoplasty had left my skin smoother from the get go, all the additional costs would have been mute. I just wanted to feel refreshed and look a little younger. Do you know, that not ONCE, has anyone said to me that I look refreshed or younger? The only thing I have heard from people who know I had the work done, is "YOU DIDN"T GET YOUR MONEY"S WORTH" This being said, I would NOT recommend NOVA Plastic Surgery.

Having been medevacked to Fairfax Trauma unit with multiple injuries I did not have the luxury of time to research my hand surgeon, but following three reconstructive surgeries, minimal scars, and eight weeks later I was blessed Dr. Nukta was there to receive me. Dr Nukta is a gentle, compassionate, gifted surgeon who takes the time to explain (and re-explain) the expectations and the procedure so the patient can be fully informed and confident. Jen, his scheduler, always a warm, pleasant presence in person and on the phone had diligently (and incessantly) called my insurance company seeking answers and solutions to mitigate the stress and anxiety I was experiencing. Her efforts were invaluable. Sherri, his physician assistant, followed my pain regimen closely, readily listened to concerns and always showed compassion and keen instinct while under her care. Dareen, his lovely master aesthetician, will greet you in the comfortably, sleek office where it is easier to calm your nerves while awaiting procedures. Lastly, there's Molly the hand therapist extraordinaire. Her approach, her knowledge, and her overall perseverance are what any patient needs when facing the arduous journey of rehabilitation. Unfortunately my experience with Dr.Nukta came from my oldest child needing emergency eyelid surgery after being rushed by ambulance to the hospital. I can't express enough how thankful my wife and I are that INOVA hospital uses Dr. Nukta for this kind of operation. He took the time to calm two nervous parents down and comfort us with reassurance that our child would be okay and furthermore that he would ensure the operations success. You can’t tell looking at my child’s eyelid that it once had stitches. That’s how good Dr. Nukta is at his art. Our follow-ups at his office were just as pleasant with all their staff taking care of our little boy. He examined my arm, gave me the necessary shot, and recommended his hand therapist Molly to follow up on my treatment. I have been doing BBL treatments at Nova Plastic surgery for over 2 years now and I can't say enough about the service, the care and the amazing results. I always had skin problems including severe rosacea, uneven skin texture and dull skin tone. I tried many products and saw different specialists to correct the problems without any success until I started my treatments at Nova plastic surgery. My skin looks so serene and the rosacea is almost all gone! I constantly have compliments from people I know and they ask me what I have been doing to have such a glowing face! I highly recommend NOVA Plastic Surgery! The staff has been very helpful and friendly from the start. I had a lower blepharoplasty procedure done recently by Dr. Zahir and I'm so happy with the results so far. I had little to no bruising and it's only been 4 days so far. Other places told me I'll be out for 2-3weeks with expected bruising but I think I'll be fine by the end of the week. I'm so glad I found this place instead. Dr. Zahir was very knowledgeable during the consultation and quick and comforting during the procedure. The staff was great as well. Jenn has also been very helpful with questions before the procedure and has checked on me several times after the procedure. I felt like I've been in great hands with this team. I'll definitely use them again for other treatments.

Not able to afford laser hair removal treatment package (lip and chin, 5 visits) up front for $800 but the free consultation was excellent. State of the art building with all the comfortable amenities. The staff are very professional while warm and personable and attended to every need and request. Great privacy during appointment and asthetician was super informative. One-star off for not offering a pay-as-you-go option or single-treat option for people who can't afford the package up front.

Last February 2016 I had a catastrophic injury with a table saw. I actually split my thumb vertically, tip to 2nd bone, filleting my thumb into two pieces. While both halves functioned, one side would rise, the other would close, I had cut it right next to the bone and cut the knuckle in half. Today, one year later my thumb is working and 70% movable, the joint only has 20% motion as it had to be pinned back together. With the great work of Dr. Nukta at Midnight, he was able to save my thumb and make my hand visually discrete unless looking for the scar. Also kept my thumb which you know is a must digit to have.
