After a large weight loss I needed some work on sagging skin, especially my arms and face. I chose Dr. Michaels because my weight loss doctor recommended him. I have been very pleased with the surgery. In fact, my primary care physician asked where I got my arms done so she could share the name with patients who asked. She said she'd seen some horrible scars from the arm surgery, but mine are straight and barely noticeable. I also had some fat injections in my cheeks to combat the sagging and they look completely natural. Dr. Michaels and Leah are both very caring and helpful and explain everything thoroughly ... there have never been any surprises. I go for botox injections now just to get a little lift in my eye brows. I prefer Dr. Michaels' technique over my dermatologists' as I get better, more natural results. Can't recommend them enough ... definitely top of the line doctor and staff.

If you’re a man looking to get rid of your gynecomastia look no further than Dr. Michaels. Starting as teen and thru my twenties I dealt with embarrassing puffy nipples and finally decided to get the surgery done two years ago. Worth. Every. Penny. His exceptional work and the final results speak for themselves. My chest looks masculine and there is no better feeling than being able to run/swim/hangout with your shirt off with out the feeling people are staring. Highly recommended!

Dr. Michaels and his staff are AMAZING. I went in for a consult after losing 180 pounds for a tummy tuck and breast augment, and he did not try to upsell me on anything, which I fully expected from a plastic surgeon. His bedside manner is on another level, most of the consult consist of them analyzing you just standing there naked while he pokes and lifts, and not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. I'm now 5 weeks post-op and I'm thrilled with the results, I see no flaws in his work. His office manager Leah is also great, she had to deal with me calling/emailing about 100 times in the couple weeks after surgery (I may have a touch of hypochondria...) and she was always helpful and never seemed bothered. HIGHLY recommend.

I went to Dr.Joseph Michaels for fillers on my nose and chin. I was referred by my co-worker, she has been going to him for years for fillers. I told him that I wanted more definition on my nose bridge and tip of my nose. Also some fillers on my chin to make it more defined. He was very gentle and knew where to inject the fillers to make my nose and chin look the way I wanted to. He understood that I only wanted a slight enhancement and natural looking. I would definitely recommend Dr. Joseph Michaels if you want fillers on your nose and chin to make your profile look better without doing anything drastic.

You have found the one! When I lost over 130 pounds I knew I needed some major procedures to address all my excess skin. Dr Michaels came up in a search and I decided I would do an initial consult with him and maybe one or two others. Well, after meeting him, it was clear I needn’t search anymore. You will not find a more highly skilled surgeon and certainly no one with his bedside manner. He has that perfect combination of medical skills and artistry, which is what anyone would want in a plastic surgeon.
