I am one month post-surgery and am already thrilled with my results, even though I still have some swelling. I had a revision rhinoplasty and septoplasty, where Dr. Bitar corrected some problems from my original rhinoplasty in 2012 and a car accident in 2014. At my consultation Dr. Bitar took the time to sit down with me and really discuss in depth what improvements could be made to my breathing, as well as my nose aesthetically. He even took the time to show me photos of cases he did that were similar to mine. The day of surgery went smoothly, Dr. Bitar took the time to meet with me before and even made a phone call to my dad before the surgery because he wasn't able to make it to be at the hospital with me. While I still have some swelling on my nose, I can already see some changes and how nice and straight it looks. I am thrilled. As many patients would do before having a cosmetic procedure, I went to about 7 different PS around the area. I was hoping I'd find one caring, attentive, experienced, knowledgeable and patient and I found Dr. Bitar. With every visit to his office (which is extremely modern and clean), I felt great attention from all the staff and Dr. Bitar himself. Most surgeons I met with wanted to get in and out of their "free" consultation fast, but not Dr. Bitar. He sat down with me and my mom, explained the procedure and his techniques, told us about himself, informed us about the steps before during and after a procedure and spent a lot of time making sure I was comfortable enough to trust him under the knife. I didn't feel like I was being pressured into a procedure that was going to cost me thousands of dollars, in fact he told me to take my time with my decision because cosmetic procedures are not a joke. Three months later I was in a hospital bed waiting for my life to change. Dr. Bitar showed up, professional as always, told me the steps of what was about to happen and made me feel so at ease and comfortable. After everything was said and done all the follow ups were easy to book and again, Dr. Bitar spent time with me explaining and informing me of all the steps I was going through and was about to endear throughout this healing process. Most importantly I felt safe under the hands of Dr. Bitar, he treated me extremely well, as he does with all his patients. I would know this, because after my procedure I referred people to him and they said the exact same thing. He is truly knowledgeable, caring, professional and trustworthy. His staff is just as great as he is. He is one talented Dr, and would recommend him to ANYONE that is looking for skin, scar or cosmetic procedures. P.s. I have invisible scars from my surgery and healed PAINLESSLY afterwards. His techniques are extremely skillful and pure bliss!

Went here met w/ Rona very nice staff and pleasant clean office. Always parking . Problem was my one IPL laser treatment for rosacea/ brown spots for 500 $ made no difference at all. I had this treatment 2x before ( about 250 per treatment at other places in Ohio where I used to live) and the results were about 30% improved so I know exactly what I'm talking about. Their treatment which she painfully sprayed me 5x over my face in one treatment did nothing! I came for a follow up hoping they can reimburse me even a little for my dissatisfaction and no can do. If you simply want results go to any other place!!

The Bitar Institute! Where do I start? I don’t know if words can do my experience justice, but here goes... I reside in Charlotte, NC. I started researching Dr. Bitar about a year ago. I found him on Instagram, and I was impressed by the natural results of his work. After watching and researching Dr. Bitar for a year, I built up the confidence to tell my cousin that I was considering going to Dr. Bitar to do something about my lips. She’s not a fan of procedures, but she’s my biggest supporter. She asked for his information to research him herself, before deciding to support my decision. She was so impressed that she gave me her blessings and even recommended him to friends. It’s finally time for me to take action! I have been self conscious about my top lip for some time for various reasons, I didn’t feel that it was doing me justice and it often looked crooked in pictures : (. I contacted Dr. Bitar’s office to finally schedule a consultation. I was greeted by professional, warm, knowledgeable staff. His staff made me feel confident and comfortable in my decision to choose him. Time to go! On 11/9 my cousin and I started our 7hr journey from Charlotte. I drove through an awful rainstorm from Raleigh through Fairfax and dealt with awful traffic from Tyson’s Corner to Fairfax, before reaching my hotel room, but it was worth it! Today’s the big day! Wake up cuz, it’s show time : ). It’s 11/10 the day of my consultation and procedure, and I was so nervous and excited I couldn’t sleep. I arrived at Dr. Bitar’s office a little early, and I was absolutely in awe. His Fairfax office is so modern and absolutely beautiful. His receptionist was so warm and welcoming. We were greeted warmly and offered a variety of beverages and snacks while waiting. This is it, the moment I’ve been waiting for! Dr. Bitar walks in to my room for my consultation. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and honest! I had a list of things I was interested in, and we went through them individually. The most impressive part about this is, a lot of Dr’s would have done the things I mentioned, but he was honest enough to show and tell me why I didn’t need those things. His honesty was refreshing, because a few Dr’s have charged me good $ for those things that I didn’t need before. At this point Dr. Bitar gained my cousin and I ‘s trust and confidence. So on to the lips... I told him my areas of concern and the look that I wanted. My biggest concern was I wanted to have natural looking lips, I’m not a fan of the overdone look. He talked me through his approach and I made my decision to do it! The results... Were amazing. It’s amazing how something so small can change your life. The correction of my lips increased my confidence significantly and it improved my profile tremendously. I have been getting so many compliments from men and women on my new lips. People think I was born with them! Conclusion- I am exceptionally pleased with my results and my decision to go with Dr. Bitar. I am very experienced with cosmetic procedures. I have been getting cosmetic procedures since 2001, and Dr. Bitar has been my #1 experience. I waited a few weeks before writing this review, because I wanted to see how my lips would settle, before sharing my true experience and healed results. Devastating results for my nose, he completely destroyed my nose. Complete lack of interest after my surgery I still have one more procedure paid for that they cannot find time to accommodate a time for me to go. The nurse looked at my uneven nostrils .and even though is clear that it was a horrible basic mistake, she said it was normal. Completely disappointing my nose looks horrible and nostrils are uneven, they just want your money, don't go here, many more truly skillful doctors.

Finally gathered the courage to write this critique with my husband's urging. Went to see Dr. Bitar about 1 year ago for a procedure involving my face and breasts. I found him online and he seemed to have a lot of good credentials. When I met him he seemed nice enough , but very cocky and arrogant. My husband explained that is what you want in a surgeon. So I stayed. After the initial consultation, he contacted me by text and wanted to know if I had any questions about the procedure. I thought that was very nice since no other surgeon had ever done that before. Then a few days later he texted me again , but pretty late at night and asked if I was alone. I thought that was kind of strange but thought he was just trying to be friendly. Then a few days later he did the same thing , but at 1:30 in the morning. I thought this was bizarre and decided not to use him as my surgeon. To be honest with people reading this I dont know what kind of plastic surgeon he is, but I found it very inappropriate some of the things he was texting and when I told my husband he was ready to confront him. I'm glad he didn't and I'm glad I found another fine plastic surgeon . The one thing that my husband wanted to know was if any other patient found that Dr. Bitar did the same thing to them with his texting. As I said he might be a great surgeon , but the texting and what he said made me suspicious of his intentions.

Under Eye Filler.... I had an under eye filler from him. Now I have a prominent bulge coming from my right eye. He acts like a pro, doing things very quickly. Don't trust it. Ive been to several Dr. to repair it, but it seems the fluid he injected is hard to remove from that area.

If I could give less than one star I would. After hearing raves about Dr Bitar, I decided to get my brow lift done by him and it is been a nightmare ever since. He ruined my face. My forehead was so swollen that I looked like an alien. When I went for follow up, the nurse (Pat) looked at me and her jaw dropped. That was when I knew something wasn't right. Dr. Bitar was on vacation so Pat took some pictures of my eyebrow and emailed them to him. After few weeks I was still swollen and also unable to raise my eyebrow. When I called his office, they told me to come back and have him see me. He told me that everything is going according to the plan and I should follow up with him in few weeks. My face was so swollen even after 1 year that, I couldn't even attend my son's graduation. I had to hide myself from everyone. Dr. Bitar made me take other test to assess the extent of the damage. I ended up going to him for year and a half for follow ups and each visit he said to wait, the nerve will regenerate "You will look ok again". When I told him these procedure seems to be a nightmare ever since he touched my face, he reached out to me and promised to take care of me. After one and half year of follow ups, since I still wasn't able to raise my eyebrow, he started giving up hope and told me start praying so the nerve will come back (Yes, he disfigured my face). He then sent me to another plastic surgeon for a second opinion. Now three years after my original surgery , I have gone thru five reconstructive surgery to make eyebrow semi normal looking again . Even to this date , I can't raise my eyebrow. When I asked for some reimbursement, I received nothing but a cold shoulder. Beware of this money hungry, reckless, harmful, unskilled person that unfortunately has a license!!!!! Go somewhere else!!!!!

At the consultation with Dr. Bitar I felt so comfortable and relaxed, I knew then he was the surgeon I could trust to perform an upper and lower eyelid lift and neck lift. I had both procedures done at the same time under local anesthesia. It's been one week since my surgery and my eyes and neck look amazing. I have been a patient of Dr. Bitar, since 2004. After getting into fitness I lost 2 cup sizes of breast tissue,Dr. Bitar did my breast argumentation. I stressed that I wanted my chest to look natural and he did a fabulous job meeting my wishes. I was in a motorcycle which left me with five skull fractures. I was airlifted to a trauma center where the ER doctors cut away a significant portion of my skull to ease brain swelling. After several months of hospitalization, the piece of my skull was replaced, but I was left with a significant dent in my skull near my right temple. For years I my head made me look like Frankenstein, and I always would receive inquisitive looks from people who, thankfully, were too polite to ask me; "Dude, What the hell is wrong with your head? My wife is a patient of Dr. Bitar and at her suggestion I went to see him. Long story short - Dr. Bitar used some type of "filler" injected under the skin to fill in the dent and return my head to a symmetrical appearance. Several years of trying to hide my deformity by wearing hats and combing my hair differently was cured with a ten minute procedure from Dr. Bitar.

Zineb, a licensed medical esthetician at Bitar is excellent! I have gone to her multiple times for light therapy for scars and for facials. Her room is always clean and inviting. She is very knowledgeable, explains the process/benefits of the services, and does a phenomenal job every time. After she gives me a facial treatment my skin is soft, has a natural healthy glow, and feels fresh. I can see positive results right away, which I never experienced at other reputable spas and cosmetic centers. Zineb is also friendly, which makes sessions with her relaxing and fun.

I met Dr. Bitar after I had some major stress in my life and was attempting to recover- by taking care of myself. I was very self-conscious about my appearance and also even just about doing something for myself. He was so nice and professional- and most importantly, capable! I was nervous about getting anything done- and he was great! It is so hard to find a surgeon without knowing anyone in the area- and he definitely great. They actually encouraged me to compare since major surgery- and after my first consult I noticed such a difference I didn't want to waste the time anywhere else. Definitely would go here again.

My experience with Dr. Bitar was very pleasant. After telling him my concerns with my procedure, he listened attentively and showed me pictures with examples of procedures he has done that would be similar to mine. On surgery day, he made me and my family feel very comfortable. After seeing the 1 week post-op results, I have to say that all of the issues I was concerned with (my breathing, dorsal hump and crooked nose) were addressed and corrected. I know that if I should have any further questions he will be readily available to assist me. Great surgeon and very personable. The staff are all very kind as well :) Update (12/25/17): I wrote the above review after being asked by Dr. Bitar to write a review about my surgical experience. However, if I'm being truthful, these last few months have been very disorienting and I was not completely honest. From the minute the cast was taken off, I looked like a completely different person which...okay, understandable. There's swelling, etc. That is to be expected. However, as the swelling went down, I noticed more and more how I just didn't look like myself. Things were changed that I didn't ask for and my nose is now over reduced. When confronting Dr. Bitar about this, he said "well now you can say you got your nose from your mom" who characteristically has a small nose. However, I can honestly say that the integrity of my nose has been completely modified much more than what was asked for. These last few months have been very challenging but, as a word of advice, please look for more in your surgeon than someone who is "the best" in their field. Look at their bad reviews, ask them a LOT of questions about the procedure and remind them of what your needs are EVEN when they insist that they know exactly what you want. This is very important. You know your needs more than your surgeon does in terms of aesthetic. Don't let that be compromised. Otherwise, Dr. Bitar was friendly and personable but I cannot say that I got what I asked for. While the obvious issues were addressed (dorsal hump, crookedness), new problems were created (modification in integrity of nose).

I have known Dr Bitar since 2003! He is an excellent surgeon and is always just a call away or an email away for me when I need his ear on anything. I live out of state now (my husband is active military) and visit when I can when I am in town. He always keeps up on my husbands travels and deployments. I have known Dr. Bitar since 2002, a co worker and Friend used him for surgery and I decided to schedule a consultation with him. I was glad that I did! He is an amazingly talented plastic surgeon that has a great eye for beauty. I liked that he was about maintaining shapely proportions for his patients which was important to me because I did not want to use a surgeon who would overdo it. Dr. Bitar and his staff had great follow up and I ended up having surgery with him that year. My results were amazing and I am incredibly happy. Even 15 years later! I ended up working with him as an employee as well because I admired his work and him. Dr Bitar is the best plastic surgeon in the Washington DC region. My first procedure with him was 10 years ago. He did a tummy tuck for me that was fabulous.
