Dr. Shiple is one of the most unpleasant people I've ever met. After explaining to him how I experienced trauma to my eyes, he refused to believe my story because "he wasn't there" and therefore "couldn't prove it or disprove it." He rambled a lot about his "personal thought process" and was obviously feeling the constant need to brag about all of the terms he knows from medical school. Yet, he refused to make an actual diagnosis or create a treatment plan. As a patient I feel invalidated, disrespected, and very let down. I will not return to this practice and highly recommend against going here.

Both my husband and I had lasik eye surgery at OC of Vermont and our only regret is we didn’t do it sooner. Dr. McCormick and his team were amazing throughout the entire process and we are both thrilled with the results. Waking up in the morning and being able to see without contacts or glasses after 25 years of needing corrective vision is amazing. I had LASIK eye surgery at OC of Vermont and I couldn't be happier with the results. I wish I had done it sooner! My wife and brother-in-law also used OC of Vermont after my positive experience. Dr. McCormick is a true professional. In addition to Dr. McCormick, the team he has around him is also great. Sam is a true pleasure to work with as well. She explained everything regarding my procedure and I found her to be incredibly easy and somewhat fun to deal with. My eyes feel much better than when I used to wear contacts. I would happily recommend Dr. McCormick to anyone looking to upgrade their eyes to "laser eyes".

Everything about Dr. Lane is wonderful. Her practice has a wonderful staff that is inviting and empathetic. Dr. Lane is an amazing person. The care she shows is so comforting. It's great that she is an amazing surgeon but what makes her so special is that she genuinely cares about you. I would not hesitate to use Dr. Lane again. If you are looking for the most professional and empathetic care for yourself or someone you love do yourself a favor and use Dr. Kate Lane.

I ended up sitting in the examing room for one solid hour without seeing the doctor or having anyone at least tell me she would be delayed. I walked out so can't speak of her ability as a doctor but thought that the wait time was not acceptable. I can understand if there was an emergency or a troubled patient but one of the many staff member that I sat there for an hour watching walk up and down the hall could have let me know something.

Amazing experience across the board. The front office staff was extremely kind and helpful. The nurses were great. And Dr. Lane was exceptional. I cannot recommend this office any more!

I have had appointments with Dr. Shiple several times and found him and his team to be friendly, accommodating and top notch professionals. Sometimes the wait can be awhile as they do become quite busy. However, they have plenty of snacks, etc. in the waiting area to ease the wait. If you're looking for honest and caring treatment, this is the first, best place to go. Thanks to Dr Shiple, he helped me with an issue that even my MD missed. Highly recommended.

Just had surgery preformed by Dr. Lane. What a great experience! She, and her staff guided me through the process, and made me feel so comfortable, and relaxed! I went today for my post op visit, and less than a week later, am almost completely healed. When you speak with Dr. Lane, you can tell that she truly cares about your wellbeing. Thank you, Dr. Lane! I had a great experience with Lasik and love not having to wear glasses or contacts. I needed a "touch up" procedure after 6 months to further correct one eye and found it to be easy and am thrilled with the results.
