Bought two pair of very expensive prescription sunglasses. When they arrived the young gal they had fit them was anything but experienced and had one pair so out of adjustment one of the more experienced ladies tried to fix them. The frames are so out of wack now it unreal. During all this they managed to cause one of the ear pieces to become extremely lose. Now I have an expensive pair of new glasses that are looser than my 16 year old pair !!! I returned to there Office only to be told you them loose. Well if I wanted them loose I’d kept the old pair that was worn out. Unreal customer service.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. When I arrived there were 3 receptionist talking amongst themselves, and I waited close to 5 minutes before they decided to break up their conversation and check me in. That I get put into a room for OVER an hour without anybody checking in to let me know how much longer I have to wait. I had to leave the room, keep in mind I had been sitting there one hour and ten minutes, and look for someone to ask how much longer I would be waiting. I understand doctors get behind. However if your doctor is going to be over an hour behind it is imperative to communicate with your patients so they know what can be expected. I will certainly never return to this clinic. There needs to be some serious training on basic customer service skills.

I ordered contacts and was told an initial price after insurance, and then I went in to pick up the contacts and they charged me $50 more than I was told initially. The lady helping me was not patient with me when I was describing my problem and what I was told. I will not be purchasing contacts or glasses from them ever again. You can find much cheaper deals online. Go elsewhere.

I've been going here for years and have always had a good experience. The atmosphere is mellow and relaxing. Sometimes I've had to wait a few minutes, but at the most about 10 minutes. They take time to answer questions you have and are always courteous.

Our family has been in Provo for a few months, and it was time that I went for an eye exam. I was referred to Dr. Joe Haggard at Utah Valley Eye Center. After having seen the same optometrist (in a different city/state) for 21 years, I was somewhat concerned how my appointment would go. Any concerns quickly abated. The staff was very helpful and efficient. And Dr. Haggard was terrific. Not only was he very professional, but he made me feel as if I'd been seeing him for years. His recommendations were spot-on, and I actually look forward to my next appointment!

This was my first experience with optometry, seeing as I have fairly good eyesight. I needed a general eye exam to see if I needed reading glasses. I came on time, did all the paperwork... They forgot to check me in, so I waited an extra hour, and then they kept switching the rooms I was in. My doctor, Dr. Haggard, was a little too "nice"... He kept calling me gorgeous and touching my hands and legs without consent. Obviously I felt very uncomfortable with this and if I ever have to check my eyes again, I will be going to Costco. Making comments about my appearance and touching any part of my body is NOT acceptable and Dr. Haggard should be talked to about this behavior and reprimanded (at the very least), as I found a comment from 2 YEARS AGO that mentioned advances made by Dr. Haggard. Obviously he hasn't changed much, and that other comment leads me to believe that other women have been under the same type of treatment with him. Unwelcome sexual advances are terrible for your company, so I would be very active in dealing with this type of behavior. Not just this, but the lady who helped me pick out glasses was condescending about what I needed in my glasses, and wouldn't let me choose what I wanted. OVERALL I do NOT recommend coming to this place for eye services.

I've been to many eye doctors since my early days in the Army when my eyes betrayed me. Quite frankly, the doctors and staff at Utah Valley Eye Center are far and away better than any other practice I've been to. I started seeing Dr. Bird when he joined the group, and then was handed over to Dr. Lloyd when my eyeballs were attacked by alien cataracts (good story start, eh?). I am extremely happy that I had the cataract surgery and even happier that Dr. Lloyd performed it. I recommend Dr. Lloyd to everyone when the subject of cataracts come up. Even relatives in Davis County. It's worth it to go to the best. You simply can't go wrong using this group to care for your eyes.

I and my twin sister got glasses from Dr Dunn years ago when she was working for Shopko. I was glad to learn where she is now and I was eager to change my ophthalmologist and optometrist. My friend raved about Dr Nelson and Dr. Dunn. After further conversing with my friend and learning she was the one that worked at Shopko in the past, I was eager to change, so I did. I came in with a typed paragraph of my issues and had asked if they would read it before my visit. The first thing they said upon entering the room was that they had read my note. I was indeed happy that my eyeglass frames from then could still be used for the new prescription now. I can't afford new frames. Thank you

Extensive selection of frames. Very friendly staff who were very respectful and kind. No pressure at all during visit. They also give a 30% Military Discount. So even if you aren't Military, you can rest easy knowing they support the Military. The prices were excellent compared to other places. Very competitive! Adult/kid female and male frames!! They also have an eye exam office five feet from their office!! Laura aided me and was very exceptional with her care and kindness! If you're looking for new glasses, look no further!!

About 2 weeks ago, I started seeing 'halos' and was very concerned that I might have a major vision problem. I called them and my doctor was out sick that day. But, they arranged to have me come in within the hour and see another doctor, who examined me, including taking pictures of the interior of my eyes. They were very complete and very gentle with me. After the very detailed exam of my eyes, they assured me that there was nothing serious and there was no charge for this emergency visit. They will be my eye doctors for life.

Beautifully remodeled. Features an impressive collection of original James Christensen paintings and an on-site optical center. (I’ve been fitted for glasses there in the past and have been pleased with the results.) Friendly, patient, and attentive staff. Very thorough exam. Dr. Haggard is personable and took the time to go over my vision changes and overall eye health, as well as the current eye research (e.g., if you’re staring at a device/computer screen, take a 3-minute break once every 20 minutes where you focus on a distant object). Dr. Haggard also made sure I had contacts to test out for comfort and vision before ordering my own year’s supply.

This rating is just for the glasses shop; I just think they're super slow and not that conscientious. I stopped by there today to check on insurance information requirements and waited for half an hour before I gave up and left. No one ever spoke to me or acknowledged me in any way. Last time I got a pair of glasses there I also waited quite a while for service, and then when they were helping me, they did put on more pressure than made me comfortable about upgrading the glasses with coatings and so forth. I think they try to put on some trappings of customer service, with smiles and talking to you for a long time, but I don't get a sense of genuine care.

But Dr. Gardner and his staff made all of the accommodations for my big fat wheelchair. The exam was really great. He explained everything to me. I had some cataracts in my eye and he told me exactly what he was going to do and how they were going to do it. The hospital handled everything great which is no short order! I am very delighted with my eye care at Utah Valley Eye Center. In fact I can't focus very well now so I guess it's time to set another appointment and see Dr. Gardner again!

I will NEVER return to this office again. I was treated condescendingly by each of the ladies who helped with glasses. My husband was spoken down to and after THREE times having the glasses remade, they still did not work. The only good thing I can say is I received my money back.

I had a really good experience getting lasik here. Dr. Gardiner and Miranda did an excellent job of helping me feel comfortable and informed throughout the whole process, and they helped make everything go very smoothly. There was a slight mix up one of the days with a technician dilating my eyes a little too early, but I felt like it was a very rare thing. There is always room for improvement, and I think this clinic is excellent and will only continue to improve. I am very happy with my lasik results, and would recommend this place to everyone.

Arrogant and overpriced. The woman helping my wife contradicted everything I said and pushed the most expensive frame in our collection which was completely unflattering to her skin tone and the shape of her face. My wife aged 20 years when she put it on as the silver-pink made her ivory white skin take on the color one usually only sees at the morgue while the it highlighted her grays. I spent many years in fashion & sales with exceptional color sense. Having worked in fashion retail I was embarrassed by the blatant hustle. After manipulating my wife masterfully she turns and says, "Well, I could defer to you!" It's the kind of service where you thank them for taking your money. I am the only person who sees my wife in glasses, but I guess the commissions are pretty liberal. I hope I can change my wife's mind before $540 is wasted. What a con!

I really really like Dr. Edmonds here. He's super nice and really listens to your concerns. 3 stars though because I was told contacts would be a specific price and that I would get a good rebate. Turns out the rebate is less than what they told me, and there was an additional big fee on the contacts that they didn't inform me of. Frustrating when you're on a college student budget. Wish they would've just been honest with us. When I called back later to talk about my dissatisfaction with the bill and whole situation the receptionist was just trying to get me off the phone the whole time. I love the Utah Valley Eye Center. My family has been seeing Dr. Noble for 20 years or more. He is amazing! We all have commented on the interest that he takes in our general well-being. Years ago on a Saturday, my son was standing too close to me as I was putting a screw into a board on our backyard fence. A small metal burr came off from the screw and got caught in his eye. This burr was hook shaped and was really stuck in his eye. Dr. Noble came in and quickly quieted my son and removed the metal burr. Dr. Noble is a kind and loving person who takes genuine interest in his patients.

My vision had been deteriorating from diabetes induced cataracts for a few years when I had lens replacement surgery at the Eye Center. Since that time I have had excellent near and far vision, and only use reading glasses for the very smallest print. My vision is now better than it was 30 years ago. My annual checkup by Utah Valley Eye Center is always a pleasant experience, and an opportunity to thank them again for my new eyes.
