Professional and Friendly. I went in for a consultation (please be aware that if you do this for the first time they do have 3-4 pages of paperwork to fill out, so arrive early), and in addition to noticing that everyone was pretty, I also noticed that they were all friendly and smart, and very good at what they do. My consultation was with Jessica who was very friendly and approachable, but also very professional and intelligent about all the work they do at the office. Depending on the procedure you're looking to do, there may be a few-month waiting period because Scott is a very popular surgeon, so get your appointment setup now, even if you're still on the fence about whether to do it.

I had the greatest experience with Alfie!!! I brought my girlfriend to her, she had been to office before but not to Alfie!!! She was disappointed and boy did Alfie make up for it!! Then when it was my turn , she made me feel just as special even tho it was my 4th time with her!!! The whole office group treats you like younare family!!! Thrilled with my experience at Utah Facial Plastics! All the staff I encountered were so warm and helpful. When setting an appointment they are very responsive and flexible to your schedule. You can tell they really have your best interest in mind as a patient and will be honest about your options, which was very important to me. They did a baby plump on my lips and added a bit of Botox to characterize my eyebrows. Both turned out fantastic! I experienced ZERO pain. The thing that really completes an experience is when you walk out of a doctors office feeling like a million bucks for minimal bucks. Such a good feeling! I've shopped around for years waiting for the right time and doctor for my septo/rhinoplasty. Finally I met Dr. Henstrom and the timing was right! I felt like Dr Henstrom immediately understood my concerns and ultimate goal and that he set very honest expectations. My patient coordinator was Jen R in Clearfield, she was kind and accommodating. Its been 4 months, my septum almost immediately shifted once the stitches were removed but still a huge improvement as promised and my breathing has completely transformed for the better. The look of my rhinoplasty which was the most important goal is as great as I could've ever asked! I love it, have ZERO regrets. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING SEPTO, see about NOT using your insurance. My quote from UFP did not include any of the pricing for the septoplasty since insurance was billed. The contracted price with my insurance cost me way more than I would've paid out of pocket. A lot of these things I wished I had known going in. I talked to Julie a little about my experience with this issue and she so sweet, helpful and understanding. This made me love this place even more.

I typically attend the Layton office for my procedures but have also attended the Mountain View sessions at times when they are there. Dr. Thompson is very polite, professional as well as deeply knowledgeable in his practice. He never overdoes a procedure and he never underdose it either. I went to visit Dr. Thompson when my daughter got a scratch on her face that wasn’t going away. He took great care of her. While I was there I took a consultation because of my aging face, I’m not that old, and was getting lines everywhere, he recommended a combination of chemical peels and IPL’s I am not even half way through and I am loving my results I feel like I look my age again. Also my husband had him remove a cyst and my FIL removed a hump on his neck. Dr.Thompson and his staff, are professional, up to date, patient, understanding, caring and accurate. The staff is all very welcoming and knowledgeable. I've had a rhinoplasty consultation which was very informing and professional. Overall, my experience of lip tattoo or lip blush was good. I loved my makeup artist, she was very professional and the procedure didn't hurt but I didn't see super great results. It may have just been because I wanted a lighter color but my before and after photos don't show a great difference. I have slightly more defined lips (maybe?) but no added color, so at my free touchup she told me she would use a different brand of pigment and maybe I'll try a darker color so it stays longer.

Nurse Alfie is amazing. She listens to what I want and always keeps me in the loop about what she’s doing when she’s working on me. This is the second place I’ve gotten my lips done, I went to Ideal Image initially. The nurse there was judgmental about putting filler in my lips. She didn’t explain to me what she was doing, and she didn’t listen to what I wanted. Alfie at Utah Facial Plastics is the exact opposite! She is fun and professional. I had a consultation for a chemical peel, because I was so nervous about the process and was hoping that they would make me feel more comfortable, maybe even have a specific plan on how they would help me get the results I needed, and maybe even possibly take a closer look at my face to see what they were dealing with. But they didn't do any of that for me. The young lady had a hard time providing details, and looked at her watch while I was expressing my concerns. (I was there less then 10 minutes). I don't know how well they do plastic surgery, but I can tell you that I did not feel comfortable enough to get a chemical peel done in their office. I guess they're not called 'Utah Chemical Peels', now are they?? Wasted your time and my time.

I chose Dr. Thompson when my previous plastic surgeon stopped doing Botox procedures himself, having a technician do the work. It turned out just awful. I went into Utah Facial Plastics for scars left by cystic acne which I had suffered from for years. My scars were indented and from all the research I did online as to what could be done about this left me bewildered to actually what or if any treatment could fix this problem. The scarring had left me with emotional scars as well and I was always self conscious and spent much time trying to fill them in with makeup or some temporary silicone filler applied under makep and it just left me frustrated. I first met with Gina at the Layton office and she spent alot of time just listening to my concerns and then gave me excellent advice as to what treatments she thought would work best for me. I ended up getting botox in my forehead which I have been just thrilled with ( the permanent scowl look I had at 57 is just gone :) and I scheduled with Brittney in the Draper office for the Venus Viva for the scarring. Brittney spent alot of time listening to me and evaluating my skin and the scarring I had and then advised me she thought the microneedling would work best to for the scarring I had. She was so knowledgable and helpful and made me feel very comfortable in the private kind of setting they have. I am going for more treatments but even after only one treatment I am just thrilled and amazed with the results. I would highly recommend anyone looking for help in this matter or skin rejuvenation go to Utah Facial Plastics. Their whole staff that I have interacted with has been so friendly and helpful and I am just so happy to have found them! I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are awesome!

I decided to have a face lift primarily due to premature aging; the age I felt inside didn’t match the age that I saw when I looked in the mirror. I looked matronly, and decided my face needed a "reboot". Dr. Thompson performed a reconstructive surgery on my face in 2007 after I had skin cancer removed. He did an amazing job restoring my face; therefore he was the ONLY doctor I would trust with my face. He specializes in faces, which I feel is very important in selecting a surgeon for a face lift, which is such an intricate and noticeable surgery. In addition to the face lift, I had a neck lift, my eyelids done, liposuction under the chin, and a chin implant to prevent further aging lines from occurring in the future. I also had fillers in my lips and marionette lines. I'm SO pleased with the outcome because it took years off of my face without changing my overall look, and there are no visible scars anywhere. I didn't want to look any differently, but rather refreshed and younger. My neck and jawline was restored, my eyes look "open”, and I look like a young woman again! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Scott Thompson for any procedures of the face and neck. He's exceptionally skilled, ethical, professional, and personable in all interactions. He listens and is honest about outcomes and results.

I had an extremely traumatic experience my first time getting lip filler(which was NOT at UFP) so, I was pretty terrified, but I knew I had to get them fixed, because they were super uneven and I just wasnt happy with them in the least. Well, when I say choosing Alfie at UFP was the BEST decision I've made, it's no exaggeration. Alfie was so professional and beyond sweet. My experience with Dr Scott Thompson and the staff at the office has always been nothing more than wonderful. They have a sense of making me as a patient feel like I'm the most important person that is there at the moment. I always feel comfortable in asking Dr Thompson any questions that interest me, usually something I've seen on the internet or tv. He is very honest and will tell you if it is something that won't work or is dangerous. I went in for a consultation on my lunch as I had anticipated it to be fairly quick. I arrived promptly to my appointment at the time I scheduled with their office. I was greeted by the receptionist, but then waited 45 minutes in an empty waiting room. I had thought I may have been forgotten about and everyone went to lunch as nobody could be found in the waiting room, even the receptionist. Another employee finally walked through the wait room and I inquired how much longer the wait would be and she checked for me. The actual consultation only took about 15 minutes so I spent most of the time waiting and was late getting back to work. The girl I met with was very nice, however.

I am going to have to have it redone by an actual competent doctor because I literally cannot breath in through the left side of my nose at all now. Dr. Thompson or his malpractice insurance will not help to remedy the situation either.
