Well, my adventure started about 9 years ago when I decided to look into a breast lift and augmentation. I went to a couple of consults that ranged from awkward to just not meeting my personal expectationss on my thoughts and concerns. Some of my concerns were just blown off like it was no big deal. However, when I went for my consult with Dr. Haupt, I was instantly sold! Not only was he professional, understanding and knowledgeable but he listened and explained everything in great detail. I was comfortable enough to schedule my procedure before I left and I will never regret that decision! My results were absolutely amazing and not only did I think that, but every medical provider that I have seen throughout those last nines years have mentioned what an amazing job he had done and wanted to know who did them! (For the record, these were all female providers and never a weird conversation) A little while after recovery, I decided I wanted to give laser hair removal a shot. I was a little skeptical at the time, but again, I have been nothing but happy with the service, outcomes and professionalism from his entire staff including Aimee and Alisha who I have definitely put to the test. Recently I decided to go under the knife to have 2 ventral hernias repaired and figured I might as well do a much wanted tummy tuck while I'm out. I have been dragging my feet for years because of all the horror stories about pain, recovery, drain tubes, etc... Well, I am 4 weeks Post-op and, as always, felt completely at ease with the entire process, minimal/controlled pain, great recovery, and the drain tube didn't bite! I can't wait to see my end results once I am completely healed up! I never should have waited as long as I did! If anyone is looking for a referral, I will always recommend Dr. Haupt and all of his amazing staff at Utah Cosmetic Surgery!

The staff of lovely ladies are so accommodating and sincere. For instances one of his on call nurses drove to my home making sure my thermometer was reading correctly to make sure there was no infection in my body after my surgery, she insisted on driving me to two different hospitals to ensure my safety. I based my review upon 3 areas and tried to portray their AWESOME atmosphere and customer service within each: 1) The bottom line: End Result, 2) Pre-surgery, 3) Post-surgery First of all, let me just say Dr Haupt AND staff have the skill deliver top notch results and provide the atmosphere for any type of client to feel confident and comfortable. 1) The end result is AWESOME!! -The shape and size ended up perfect. I already have very large breasts and did NOT want to be bigger. However, my husband was concerned that they would look smaller (men :) ). DR. Haupt nailed it!! -Scarring: I was very worried about scarring. Though I know much of that has to do with my skin, I also know it has much to do with the doctor. There was no puckering around my nipples, the scars are thin and light. I've seen work from other doctors that are just scary. There should be no worry here: Dr. Haupt has the skill and experience to do everything HE can to minimize scarring. 2) Pre-surgery: These guys are amazing! They are flexible, knowledgable, patient, and non-judgemental. I live a couple hours away and have a full-time job. As I was "Doctor shopping", Aimee was flexible and responsive in answering my emails and questions even without an appointment. This is aHUGE reason I chose to go to Dr. Haupt. Initially, I just wanted a lift. Aimee was able to give me pros and cons of also inserting an implant as well as financial information up front. They did not make me feel like a pain, and were down to earth even though they are the best. After I chose DR. Haupt, they were flexible with appointments and even rolling pre-op appt. in with my consult. 3) Dr. Haupt And staff have a good sense of humor. Also, they were responsive and patient with me when I had some stitch spitting which literally caused a hole in one of the t sections (name?). I needed them to confirm with me multiple times that what was happening is normal and everything will be okay. I am now about 10 weeks out and they are totally right.

One time I wanted liposuction around my belly area, he told me it wasn’t a good idea for me and explained why, I said OK and left the office. Then a few months later, I found myself in Sonobello doing exactly what Dr. Haupt told me not to do. HE WAS RIGHT! It was horrible!!! It was a lumpy mess!! DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON! I did this and wasted $100 bucks! This office wants you to buy the Groupon so you have a coupon number to give them BEFORE your consultation! I did this and then they RAISED THE PRICES so that it was even more! I could not believe it and then they would not offer the $100 I spent toward anything else. So they try to lock you into having to get the procedure done there! Groupon, however, was awesome and refunded my money. I am very dissatisfied with Utah Cosmetic Surgery! They were not honest and the quote they gave me after having my $1100 discount was still $3000 higher than where I went. And guess what? I went to Dr. Fryer, in Draper, he listed his prices beforehand and was nothing but honest with me! My surgery turned out absolutely wonderful.

Horrible Horrible Horrible! Wish I could grade them zero stars. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Botched my breast augmentation and lipo. I did have breast implants that were coming from my collar bone while skin and nipple hung underneath and deep crevices, lines the entire width of my thigh, from the cannula because he didn't smooth any of the lipo. Went back after to discuss with Dr Haupt options and he wasn't willing to help, recommended a more invasive surgery to fix my breasts (he agreed they were not "in the correct position") and I was to fit the bill 100% again. Worst mistake of my life. I have since found an amazing doctor who listenes to me, did the reconstruction of my breasts and they look beautiful, if I do say so myself. Happy to give recommendations for the second doctor.

I hate to leave a bad review because Dr. Haupt was so nice but my experience with him two times was terrible. I had a breast augmentation back in 2007 because I had breast fed my baby and it had left my once beautiful breasts not so great anymore. So I was recommended dr haupt by a friend.. so I got the surgery and right after they became botched. They were extremely far apart and ugly. They were a d cup but I could fit my entire hand between them. So I found another surgeon to fix them and he did a beauful job . I had perfect breasts and this all cost me so much money to correct . Then I had another baby and breast fed again and needed a lift. I would have gone to the doctor who fixed me the last time because he was the best of the best but he unfortunately passed away. So because dr haupt was so affordable and I talked myself into thinking that maybe it was just a fluke accident that happened to me the first time because he had so many glowing reviews so I gave him another chance with the lift in 2013. Big Mistake!! I had the breast lift done and it was horrible!!!! I just had it done under local since he didn’t need to change my implants. Just a simple skin lift. For some reason it was taking hours upon hours and that’s when I started having horrible anxiety because Dr. Haupt left the room a few times while I was on the operating bed and left me with his techs who were sewing me back up and I felt so worried because the girl that was stitching me she was like double and triple knotting some of my stitches but not all of them and she said “ I’m going to tie these so tight so those suckers don’t pop off!” Talking about my aereolas. It sounded so horrible and I just had this horrible feeling deep inside that she was doing a bad job with the stitching. And my intuition was right. And I was so upset that Dr. haupt kept leaving me and he wasn’t watching what she was doing . I also was never told someone else other than him would be stitching me. Which I was not okay with. Perhaps if dr haupt would have stitched me instead I wouldn’t have gotten like 2-3 inch wide scars on my breast. They were hideous and also there were like weird hole flaps in my skin left over in the places where the tech had double and triple knotted the stitches. It was horrifying! My breast lift was so tight that when I got home they popped open and I could see the inside of my body and I was terrified! Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me I guess. I again then had to find another doctor this time a cosmetic surgeon to fix me. It cost me thousands upon thousands but he did. He fixed me and now my breasts are scarless and beautiful once again. And he stitched me . It was all done under local and he never left me for a moment. He never let anyone else stitch me and I’m very happy now with my breast because of the amazing cosmetic surgeon that fixed me after... But it came at a very expensive cost to me! Not just with thousands upon thousands in money but my time, my stress, and tears and agony over it all. A lot of emotional pain from two botched surgeries with this man, Dr. Haupt. Dr haupt should have never have left me alone even for a minute . And he should have told me other people were going to stitch me and not him. I never would have gone with him if I knew that. The sewing up is so important because it means the difference between being scarless or looking like a massacre. I’m sorry to have to leave this review but it has been haunting me for years and I feel compelled to be honest and not hide so I can help or save another girl from being traumatized the Way I was. Don’t let all the glowing reviews fool you like they fooled me even though I knew better! It’s not worth it! There are better options in the valley that are more expensive but worth every single penny and will save in the long run much grief and money.

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful the staff is here and also has the best doctor in the business..Dr.Haupt! I never thought surgery could be so pleasant and also with very minimal pain..I've had 6 major back surgeries and so I really was just expecting the usual..but from the time of my consult to the time of surgery they all made me feel so welcome and well almost like at home type of feeling ... Even after my surgery at checkup appts...everyone there remembers my name..I don't even have to tell them when I come in..its just such a great feeling that everyone from the front desk to the nurses take the time to know you and who you are. I had a reduction and lift done and also a tummy tuck...but I did the surgeries for medical reasons..to help support my spine with the tightening of the abdominal wall and also to take the pressure off with the reduction... I have chronic pain and severe nerve damage.. I explained all of this and the reasons for wanting the surgeries to Dr.Haupt..and he was very helpful with his opinion and how he thought it would help. He was the first surgeon I went to see after weeks of research and the only one after meeting him...I really just felt like he was the one who could help me...and I trusted that...and he did! 11 years ago I had strep in my abdomen. I underwent a surgery that opened me from sternum down 9in. The Dr. cleaned my insides and put me back together. This caused a history of abdominal issues including hernias. Since then I’ve had 2 hernia repairs and a baby! My abdomen was messed up and hurt! General surgeons would only do what is “medically necessary.” As a mother and human, I needed to be fixed! So I called Dr. Haupt’s office. All the staff is so kind and caring! Dr. Haupt preformed an fleur de lis or inverted t tummy tuck. Although I did this for a better quality of life, I look great too! The cost was cheaper than a general surgeon and more was done! I was super anxious and Dr. Haupt and his staff calmed me with all the information and care! Thank you Dr. Haupt and staff!!!

I had breast augmentation surgery and was looking for particularly large implants. Dr. Haupt addressed every risk/concern possible with what I wanted and made sure he was able to give me what I want without compromising the results which I loved. I was so disappointed. I went in for a simple lip filler, I was so excited and had put money aside specifically for this, the girl who did it was pretty abrupt and rude, she didn’t make anything clear about what she was doing, and I don’t even know if she used the whole syringe, she didn’t show it to me. Overall it was an awful experience and I was basically out the $500 because the filler didn’t even last more than a month. Save your money or go elsewhere. Wish I would have.
