I just went in for a consultation about my nose today. The staff were all very friendly and caring. So the left side of my nose has been bothering me.... I broke it in a car accident 24 years ago and it's been worked on multiple times since (by a different Doctor). I did some research online for local plastic surgeons and was impressed with the reviews I read about Dr. Jensen, his history at the Mayo Clinic, and his years of experience. I wanted to get Dr. jensen's opinion on my nose. He was very easy to talk to, not intimidating, and honest. He told me that the skin on my nose is actually really thin and any work done on it may actually make it look worse. He basically told me that it really probably wouldn't be worth it. He did give me a fellow plastic surgeon's name (who does a lot of work on noses On people who have had multiple surgeries) if I wanted another opinion. Dr. Jensen did confirm to me that the things I'm not loving about my nose are truly there but are also not very noticeable unless I point them out. He said my nose is attractive and honestly wouldn't be worth the risk. I truly appreciated his honesty. A lot of doctors would just do it for the money and not care about the risk of making it look worse. That is a caring doctor right there. If I ever need plastic surgery on something else in the future, I'd definitely go to Dr. Jensen!

I had a breast argumentation done by Dr. Jensen. He is very patient with all questions. I felt comfortable talking to him about what I wanted. He listened and followed through on what size I was comfortable with.There was no pressure at the consultation. Dr. Jensen and Lindsay have answered every question I have had, even when I have asked the same question more than once. I'm ecstatic with the results! I had forgotten what I was living without. Despite calling in advance to make sure Dr. Jensen would work with the doctor performing my deviated septum and being assured he would and waiting weeks for an appointment, Dr Jensen did not want to work with my surgeon but with another surgeon who was a personal friend of his. His office staff while nice, discussed people they knew (specifically their wealth) loud enough for those in the waiting room to over hear. Let's hope they werent patients. Almost as frustrating as finding out Dr Jensen wouldn't work with my surgeon after waiting weeks for an appointment was having to repeat simple statement and questions several times to the front desk staff before they appeared to understand.

His integrity allowed him to advise me that insurance would not cover the procedure. In the past I've had experiences with plastic surgeons that seemed to be willing to try to push it through. Though disappointed, his honesty and integrity won me over. I then brought my son to see him, He performed a procedure on my son and was very professional!! He is great with all ages!!!

I under went breast augmentation December 22 with Dr. Jensen. 10 hours post surgery I had broken out in hives. Purple skin, welts, and severe itching. I returned to his office the next day and he would not prescribe me an oral steroid, just topical cream that any doctor would know not take care of my hives. Even after I asked for one. The cream did not help and my hives worsened and became more painful and spread even further around my body. I called him the next day and he still would not call in an oral steroid but told me to visit the ER. I did, and the surgeon on in the minor emergency office told me that I should not be there, that Dr. Jensen should be treating me for the allergic reaction. He then called Dr. Jensen to consult him. He came back to the room livid and said that this surgeon is incompetent and does not take care of his patients or just doesn't know how. This doctor said Dr. Jensen would not give him any direction with what to do with me even though he should be familiar with reactions to the drugs he administers and procedure. I was given a steroid shot and prescribed an oral steroid which got rid of the hives. Until I started weening off of them with the last few doses. They came back. I texted a photo of my hives that were all up my chest and said they were coming back. He said he was not concerned with them and to apply the steroid cream and take benadryl. Once again this did not help at all, and I contacted him for direction. He said once again to go to the ER. By this time I did have to go and get an Epi shot and a longer dose of steroids from the ER doctor at 10 p.m. after about 3 weeks on steroids, weaning off the second round, once again my hives came back. I contacted Dr. Jensen who referred me to a dermatologist for further evaluation. The wait to get in was 10 days! I was referred by a friend to an acupuncturist who specialized in allergies. I saw her and she treated me for the silicon implants. She tested me and concluded I was rejecting them. My hives were gone by the end of the day, but did come back 2 days later, I visited a second time and again, my hives were gone in 4 hours, and they have never been back. In my follow up visit I informed Dr. Jensen of the allergy, stating it was not the single dose of Percocet and not the antibiotics used during the procedure I was reacting to. He stated the odds are one in a million and I had not been rejecting the implants and remained firm it was some medication. Even though I was treated for a Silicon reaction. My follow up visits were underwhelming and I felt like they saw me as a high maintenance patient that they did not want to deal with. Dr. Jensen was pretty curt and dry making my visits awkward. He did not take care of me post surgery and I feel is incompetent of doing so if there are complications. I had brain damage including memory loss, depression, my right ankle lost mobility, and of course weight gain from all the steroids. Not his fault, but I definitely did not feel cared for post surgery, and I had to turn elsewhere for treatment.

Dr. Jensen is a miracle worker! After my three year old fell and split his head open, I took him in with a gaping, akwardly shaped hole in his forehead repeating to myself over and over "chicks dig scars....chicks dig scars". Totally unnecessary because you can barely see where the wound was! My father in law, who is also a doctor, loves to look at my sons forehead and is amazed every time at how good it looks. Since then we have gone to Dr. Jensen for several other procedures. Dr. Jensen is as talented as he is kind, as skilled as he is personable, and as smart as he is professional. During my three pregnancies I suffered from a unique condition called polyhydramnios, which is the accumulation of excess amniotic fluids during pregnancy. My abdomen was the size of a woman caring triplets. Needless to say, it took quite a toll on my body. I also had extremely large breasts—a size H cup when I’m nursing. After having three children, I continued to exercise and eat healthy. I got back to my original pre-pregnancy weight, but my body did not “look” like my pre-pregnancy body. I saw Dr. Jensen about 2 months ago for a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift and the results are truly astonishing! I’m so happy with my new body! The results have exceeded all my expectations! My scars look better than my friends who have had similar surgeries and my recovery process was not nearly as difficult as theirs. By looking at my body you can see that Dr. Jensen works with detailed precision and is an extremely talented surgeon. I also had concerns about not “looking” or “feeling” like myself after the surgery—I like me and didn’t want to look like someone else. I just wanted to look the way I did before I had three children. I know that’s a large request, but Dr. Jensen delivered! After a consultation with Dr. Jensen I felt like he listened and knew exactly what I wanted. And now, two months out of surgery, I “look” and “feel” more like me than ever before. I went to Dr. Jensen looking for the best and that’s exactly what I got, the best!

Dr Jensen and his staff are very professional. Sometimes Dr. Jensen will visit very briefly with us, sometimes he would spend a little more time. My wife had a bilateral mastectomy 3 months ago. The surgery went well but one of the expanders didn't fit just right. It has caused a lot of discomfort.
