He changed my life forever. I spent SO MANY hours looking up before and after stories of people who had my similar body type and situation. I was discouraged because there were a lot of people who had results that were far from ideal. I went to a few consults and Dr Bishop was, hands down, the right choice. He was so confident and caring and kind. He actually did an exam instead of just looking at me. I still wanted more confirmation that I was making the right choice. I have a friend who works at a hospital that Dr Bishop practices at. He asked the nurses what they thought of him. They had some really high praise. That's when I was certain he was the one. I was not wrong. My results are the best I have ever seen in all the hours I spent looking for surgery results. There were other surgeons who said I would not have good results. I think they must just not have the skill that Dr Bishop has. I seriously want to go show the other surgeons that what they said was not possible, was accomplished by someone who had the experience and skill to do it.

From the moment I walked into the office for the first time I knew I had chosen the right Doctor. The entire staff was very helpful and always upbeat. Every time I met with Dr. Bishop he made me feel so comfortable. I never felt rushed and he really listened to everything I said and answered all my questions. He did a great job of explaining exactly what he would do and was so reassuring that I would like the results. He was so right! It was one of the best things I have ever done for myself and has boosted my self-confidence. Surgery went great and the clinic staff was very helpful. Where do I even start! Okay, I was looking into getting a mommy makeover, the full blown tummy tuck, breast lift & Aug. I would give him 100+ stars if I could! You will NOT find a better surgeon than Dr Bishop. You won't find a friendlier staff or hospital. My surgeon who did my Panniculectomy screwed up my lower body and left me with a HORRIBLE scar at 28 years old. I thought I was permanently scarred that way. Dr Bishop made me feel comfortable. He understood and listened to my concerns. He went over all options. And fixed the other surgeons mistake. My scar looks WORLDS better. And I'm flat. I feel great. Confident in my skin. If you're looking for anything in reconstructive surgery or cosmetically I HIGHLY recommend Dr Bishop. Fantastic doesn't even cover how I feel. I first saw Dr. Jon Bishop in 2005 after my mastectomy. I was devastated and scared, not knowing what was going to happen next in my life. I wanted to feel as normal as I could after the breast cancer. I was interested in breast reconstruction and want to explore all my options. Dr. Bishop was so helpful and compassionate; he made me feel like I was a “person” not just another patient. I went to another doctor for a second option, as soon as my husband and I walked out of there, we both said; “Dr. Bishop is the ONE to go to!” After Dr. Bishop preformed a TRAM-flap procedure on one side and a Breast Reconstruction on the other side, I feel whole again. He did a beautiful job with minimal scaring. He also did my carpal tunnel on both hands and just two weeks ago an Umbilical hernia repair. Dr. Jon Bishop is the best; his work is impeccable and is greatly respected by all that work with him at the hospital. He truly cares about you and your health. I highly recommend Dr. Jon Bishop!!!

Just a follow up now the procedure is done and all the tape is off. After just over a month the scars are already fairly faint; more important, though, is that my back is so much better than I would have thought possible. After 5 hours on my feet the other day, I had only the slightest twinge, when before I would have been in agony. Truly a great blessing.

I was very reluctant to have this extensive of a surgery and he put me at ease and made me feel comfortable and calmed me completely. My anxiety dissipated. I am 6 weeks post op after a breast lift, augmentation and tummy tuck. I had a few setbacks (none of which were Dr. Bishop’s fault) - all were because my body chose to heal a bit slowly. My drain was in longer than average, which wasn’t fun! I had a small infection and a couple other minor issues. With all of these problems, I would definitely recommmend Dr. Bishop again and again to my family and friends. He is fabulous! Oh...and I am looking better and better every day! My first appointment (for surgery) I cancelled the morning of because I was worrried I would not have enough recovery time for an upcoming trip. Dr. Bishop called me later that day, very understanding and we decided we would postpone till Fall. Just had my 6 week post opt visit and I'm so very grateful I chose to have breast augmentation with Dr. Bishop in Orem UT. First off I'm happy that when I compare my experience with friends, I had the fastest recovery. Second, and get this... I didn't require any serious pain meds during recovery!!! I just took Advil for the first few days and then only once in a while. Why was that possible? Because Dr. Bishop offered me a "pain pump" that was inserted around each breast and made them completely numb to any pain for the first 4 days. I've been so nauseous from taking pain meds in the past that I knew I wanted to stay far from them so going with this plan was the best option for me. Also my surgery went great! Dr Bishop is very friendly and helped ease all my fears before hand.- Chelsea

Maybe Dr Bishop only has 5 star ratings because his staff edits out the bad reports? We'll see if that happens to this one. VERY unhappy with my breast reduction results (4 bumps, lumpy, indented, dog ears, etc). When I asked Dr Bishop personally about the results, he told me he didn't need to ever see me again (5 weeks post-surgery). When I dropped off a letter 3 weeks ago asking what could be done to fix the problem, he has totally ignored me and not responded. I asked Darci to send me a copy of my specimen results (which she did), and I asked her if she would ask Dr. Bishop to respond to my letter. He still hasn't. Very frustrated. Would not recommend him.

Dr. Bishop was not the first consultation I did. I had two others done. Save yourself that hassle, and just go straight to Dr. Bishop. He was very professional and friendly at the same time. I was very comfortable with him. The cost for what I wanted to have done was priced right where I expected it to be. I can't say that for one of the other places I went (one of the other offices was double the price!). I loved the work he did, and I feel he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of after my surgery.

Because of the location and size of the surgical site, it was going to necessitate skin grafting so I was referred to Dr. Bishop by my Dermatologist, Dr. Richard Stone .I went to Dr. Bishop's office in a very uptight state. The receptionist and the nurse that greeted me were very courteous and when Dr. Bishop came in, he too was VERY PLEASANT and explained what was going to take place and how and made sure that I understood or if I had any questions. What could have been a very traumatic experience changed to a wonderful experience, despite the discomfort. My follow-up treatment was just as pleasant. Would I refer him? IN A HEART BEAT!!!

It is 5-6 months post-op and I am very very happy with my results. Dr. Bishop is probably one of the best doctors I've ever interacted with. He is kind and understanding, patient and personable. I felt really comfortable even though it was my first major surgery. I am so happy I decided to go with him. I had a breast reduction and I couldn't be happier with my new little boobies! I got emotional after surgery and I am embarrassed to say that it was clear in one of my visits that I was distressed, but Dr. Bishop was understanding and wasn't rude or condescending. I was taken by surprise that I got so worked up, haha, but I guess that's normal when you have surgery and are on medications. The whole process went smoothly and I recovered and healed up pretty quickly. My scars aren't as bad as I thought they'd be and I look forward to them fading. Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin..... He saved my LIFE!!! I have been suffering with costochondritis for over two years (which is the inflamed cartilage that holds your ribs in place at the sternum as well as locking those same ribs up in the spine) this is extremely painful, and a physical therapist has to put the ribs back in place in the sternum and unlock them in the spine. So during an appointment with a new primary care physician, he tentatively asked if I had ever considered a breast reduction surgery, I replied that I had not, and had assumed that it was cosmetic and that I wouldn't be able to afford it. He then indicated that with my medical history and long term back, chest and neck pain, that there is a medical need to have the surgery, and it would be likely that my insurance would pay. He then suggested Dr. Jon Bishop, so I called that very same day, and they got me right in for a consultation. During the first consultation, Dr. Bishop explained the surgery and the recovery, and what to expect. He also indicated that this surgery would help with my posture along with helping to diminish my lower back pain, and neck pain. It would also be less weight on the the inflamed ribs in the front, thereby keeping them in place in the sternum and the spine, thus allowing the costochronditis to heal. About 10 days later, my insurance authorized the surgery. On Tuesday August 23, 2016 I called and scheduled my surgery for September 1, 2016. Shortly after making the appointment, I called back and ask if they could put me on a cancellation list, because my $1000.00 deductible would start over on September 1, 2016, so they put me on a cancellation list. Ten minutes later, they called me back and said that they didn't have a cancellation, but ask if I would like to have the surgery on Thursday August 25, (which indicated to me that Dr. Bishop was just working me in before my deductible started over). What Dr. does that these days? .... A good one! So the surgery went well, and Dr. Bishop removed approximately 2 pounds of breast tissue per side. No wonder my ribs wouldn't stay in place!!! No wonder my shoulders rolled forward thus making poor posture!!! No wonder my neck was tweaked all the time with muscle spasms!!! No wonder my lower back was in constant pain because of severe muscle spasms!!! So here I am, less than 3 weeks post-op, and already I am doing more things that I have been able to for over 2 years!!! I am in less pain, because the biggest contributing factor to all that pain, in the various areas of my body, was the weight of my breasts. Dr. Bishop is by far one of the best doctors that I have had the privilege of knowing. I would highly recommend him as a doctor. I can not even begin to thank Dr. Bishop for saving my life!!!

I walked into the office 5 minutes before my appointment was scheduled and no one was at the front desk. I was the only patient in the office and I attempted two times to get someone's attention but got no response, and waited 15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk. A patient who arrived 10 minutes after me got called to the back before I did and I ended up not seeing the doctor until close to an hour after my scheduled appointment time. When I met with Dr. Bishop he was friendly, seemed knowledgeable about his field of work, and answered all my questions. Later, on the same day of the appointment I got a call directly from Dr. Bishop, apologizing for my out of the ordinary wait. He offered me an earlier appointment for my procedure than I had scheduled and he sent us movie tickets in the mail.
