I have a hare lip/Cleft Palate. I went to DR. Bitner to help with the shape and structure of my nose. I can honestly say I couldn't be happier. Before the surgery my nose was twisted and to big for my face. My Nostrils were different sizes. After the surgery my nose is straight even and looks 100x better. And the staff that works for Dr. Bitner are the nicest people, they always go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. If you have a Hare Lip and or a Cleft Palate I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Bitner.

SEPTO/RHINOPLASTY MASTER! I am a 44 year old male that's had trouble breathing through my nose for years. It finally got to the point where I needed to do something about it. Because a septoplasty with possible rhinoplasty corrections is what is required to resolve this kind of problem, I did not want just anyone doing this kind of procedure since there's a real potential that it could change your appearance. Your face uniquely identifies you as a person, so I set out to find the best facial plastic surgeon in the SLC area with a solid track record. After doing my homework, I was confident Dr. John Bitner was the man for the job. My homework paid off! From my first appointment to my recent 6 weeks post operation visit, Dr. Bitner and his staff have been outstanding and professional every step of the way. Dr. Bitner has some of the best "bed side manors" I have seen and experienced. He's an excellent surgeon, an artist, and a real person. He is easy to talk to and doesn't just talk at you. He talks with you by listening to everything you have to say. As part of my deviated septum repair, Dr. Bitner had to reshape some of the functional parts of my nose that would change its overall look. He spent more time with me than I expected using high tech imaging and computer simulations to show me how my nose would look. I left feeling very confident and assured Dr. Bitner had a very thorough game plan and understanding of what needed to happen in order to maximize the procedures outcome. It’s been 6 weeks post operation and functionally I can breathe 100% better than before. It’s a night and day difference. Cosmetically, Dr. Bitner exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier with the outcome. In short, I highly recommend Dr. John Bitner, not only for a septo/rhinoplasty procedure, but for any care he offers. After having this experience with him and his staff, I consider Dr. Bitner one of the finest care givers, doctors, surgeons, artists, and people I know. I trust him completely.

I went to Dr. John Bitner about having laser skin resurfacing to even out my skin tone by having my age spots and freckles removed. I was so impressed with him and the time he took to explain what would work best for me and the results I could expect. Just a few days after having the procedure done, I was so happy with the results. My skin was tighter and many of my fine wrinkles were gone. My skin looks smoother and I feel younger. I loved the staff there at Tanner Clinic in Layton, Utah. They were so helpful and answered any questions I had. I especially want to thank Jamie. I can’t say enough about the care and results I have had with Dr. Bitner! When looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon, I felt it was important to find a physician that was not only an expert in plastic surgery, but an ENT as well. Dr. Bitner’s was well-qualified as both and his expertise has proved to be exceptional. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! My parents and I did a lot of research and visited with several individuals who have had the same surgery, but with different physicians. In every case, we found that their recovery was significantly longer. Given my experience, Dr. Bitner’s techniques are more conducive to less bruising. Dr. Bitner is a remarkable surgeon. I researched many doctors prior to my surgery and he stood out for me. Right from my first appointment he answered my questions thoroughly and made recommendations that he felt were best for me. Now, eight weeks post-op, I couldn't be happier with my results. The surgery went great and the recovery was much easier than I anticipated. I was uncomfortable for a few days, which was to be expected, but I was never in pain. Dr. Bitner and his staff are amazing. I had a facelift, browlift, and lip augmentation. I look 15 years younger. Seriously. I can't quit looking at myself in the mirror (and I hated to before). Dr. Bitner is extremely skilled at what he does. He truly understands the anatomy of the face and knows just what to do to leave you looking your best. He and all the members of his staff are kind, responsive, and make you feel SO comfortable with your decision. I recommend them without any hesitation.

Unfortunately, after have 3 rhinoplasty's, I still didn't love my nose. It looked worse than what I started out with and I thought for sure I'd never have a normal looking nose again. Still desperate to find someone who could fix my nose I'd gone to a few of the "best" Dr.'s for a consult but even they told me they wouldn't touch my nose because it was too risky. They told me to "accept my nose and move on". My friend finally suggested Botox to see if that could help. I set up a consult with the Botox office she goes to and there met Dr. Bitner. During my consultation, without me ever telling him anything about my nose, he pointed out the areas he would address. Everything he said was exactly what I didn't love about my nose. I immediately felt confident in him. I never told my sisters I had had surgery #4 but the next time I saw them they noticed something was more flattering because they complimented me. I wish I had gone to Bitner the 1st time around. I will definitely be referring my family and friends his way.

It’s been nine weeks since I had upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) and a “mini” facelift, but Dr. Bitner was generous and thorough with the facelift so the procedure was more like a complete mid face lift. There’s still some swelling in front of my ears. But what a difference; jowls, sags, crepe-paper neck and hooded eyelids - gone! I’m a 61 year old male, but now look many years younger. Dr. John Bitner, located in Layton, UT did a marvelous job. The results of his work have exceeded expectations. He and his staff were supportive, friendly and encouraging. Dr. Bitner was sensitive and professional throughout. Initially, I’d sought three different consults locally, but never felt quite right about the doctors and what they said. I sent queries to a number of places found on-line and located in near-by larger cities. A member of Dr. Bitner’s staff responded immediately. I emailed photos of my jowls and droopy eyelids, within a couple hours Dr. Bitner had reviewed the photos and staff got back to me with recommendations that made sense at reasonable prices. It was well worth the 60 mile drive to his facility for his work. The office and facility are very nice, surgical operations took place on-site under nurse sedation. Total cost for a facelift and blepharoplasty: $8,500.

My sister and I have talked for a number of years about having face lifts. We wanted to go through the process together. (I am 53 and she is 57). Dr. Bitner was highly recommended through a friend. We researched thoroughly including reading all comments and checking out his photos. As of today, it has been six weeks. We both had face lifts, brow lifts, and lip augmentation. Dr. Bitner is a consummate professional. We both look ten years younger, and yet not artificial or "stretched". His staff is great, including his receptionists, Jamie, and his wonderful anesthesiologist. Of course it is a huge commitment however, it was great to be in this together (we had surgery the same day, she in the morning and myself in the afternoon). We were able to call each other daily and check in. However, when called, Dr. Bitner and his staff immediately responded. I had an open septoplasty/rhinoplasty in August 2017. My right side was extremely hard to breath out of and would completely cave in when I would breath really hard. My septum was so crooked and misshapen. I had considered surgery for quite sometime but couldn’t bring myself to do it for years, being very scared of surgery. I also am not a plastic surgery type person and thought that I could just tough it out. My concern was that it would look unnatural as well. My husband and I talked about it and he said I should do it. After researching, my husbands support, and meeting with Dr.Bitner and his staff, they answered questions and help put my anxiety at ease. So I decided to go forward. Surgery day went well. Luckily for me it was the easiest I have ever reacted to anesthesia. I honestly barely remember the car ride home. Recovery would have been easier if my kids hadn’t brought home all the germs from school and gotten me sick. I can’t lie and say it’s a piece of cake because it wasn’t. But, the final results have been extremely worth it. I can breath, my nose looks so natural, my septum isn’t twisted and crooked, and I definitely feel more confident. My Sister (59 years of age), and myself (60 years of age) had a face lift on the same day - April 24, 2015. We both had procedures that included upper brow lift and lip augmentation, using SMAS (an acronym, but it uses your own tissue. My sister had a lower eye lid procedure, and I had the upper. We both healed in varying ways - I had much more bruising than she did, and she had a little more pain than I did. It was good to have each other to talk each day about how we felt, questions we had, and share our results. It has been over two months now, and we are both extremely happy with the results.
