The Best Choice!!! -- No Vertical Scar Breast Lift From the very beginning, I knew Dr. V was the choice for me. I can’t thank him and the team enough. I loved the website, and preferred it over all of the others that I saw. I had already heard about this Doctor from other people, and have recommended him to my friends. I made a call for a consultation, and I knew from the moment I finished the call that I made the right choice! Everyone in the office and Dr. V were incredible. They made me feel so comfortable in the decision that I was making. They are models of professionalism. They made a surgical plan that was “just for me”, showed me photos, listened to my concerns and took as much time as they needed to answer my questions. The surgery and recovery were smooth, and went just like they said it would. And the results are PERFECT! After the surgery, Dr. V called that night, and his office called the next day. I could not be happier with either the service, or my results. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself… and my partner is happy too!!! I have totally regained my confidence. This is not about vanity, it is about feeling good in my own body. An excellent physician should get excellent reviews. Thank you Dr. Ver Halen!

Where do I begin? I could literally go on forever about my amazing experience with the staff, the Dr., and my procedure! I had old implants that I needed removed, as one of them had ruptured. I developed hypothyroidism after the birth of my son and only had to think of food to gain weight. At 35, going on 36, my body was no longer on the winning team and I opted to have liposuction to help my weight loss with my reduced calorie diet plan. I actually live in east Texas so it was a 2.5 hour drive to Dr. Ver Halen’s collyville office, but every mile was more than worth it. He was able to perform both my Implant removal and lipo under “twilight” sedation, which I was honestly freaked out about, BUT if I had to do it over again and had the choice for future procedures, twilight is the way to go. To me, the lipo felt like getting a tattoo; general discomfort with a few spots that were pretty tender and you have to “push through”, but all in all, it was not overwhelmingly painful. My Implant removal was quick and simple. After the procedure I had VERY minimal bruising. My sister who has done lipo before asked if I was sure they had done the prodedure! I healed very fast as well. I was up and doing the very next day. Yes, there were some tender spots, but nothing to keep me from my usual activities. Now, onto the 5 star staff! Front office team are very friendly and made sure to be very accommodating of my long drive. They worked with me when I had to reschedule a few times and made sure to call and remind me of my appointments. The nursing team?!?! Well let me tell you, you will NEVER get this type of care anywhere else! I ended up getting a yeast infection from the antibiotics but was able to call the nurse on a SATURDAY and she called me in an Rx on the spot! Where else can you get that type of treatment after hours?! (Thank you Shayna!) My one month check up I received a complimentary lymph draining by the other nurse, Dana. She worked on me extra because she knew I had a long drive there and back. Even contacted me later that day to make sure I massaged the areas she worked on and to check up on me. I could keep going but this review is already long enough. The main thing i want you to take away from this is the standard of care Dr. Ver Halen and his staff provided. They went above and beyond my expectations and I can not recommend them enough. Even if it’s a bit of a drive, you will not regret it!

Elaine is awesome and I would highly recommend seeing her if you're interested in fillers. I got my lips, cheeks, chin, tear troughs and forehead done over the process of three months. While I can certainly see a difference and feel way more confident, it's subtle enough that it still looks natural and like me. She does a great job with making you feel comfortable, she knows the products well, and is always very kind in answering any of my questions or concerns. Everyone at the Ver Halen office is really kind and makes you feel at home.

MY PROCEDURE: Lipo 360 & Male BBL- May 2018 Dr. Ver Halen,….hmm, what can I write about him that hasn't been written before, that won't sound exaggerated....embellished. We've all read these reviews. And well, they all pretty much say the same things. Mostly how great the Dr. is/was, the staff etc. I won't say/write those exact things. But I will tell you; for 5 months prior, I had consulted with 6 different doctors before I found Dr. Ver Halen, (yes, I found him). Many of those doctors I consulted were referrals. In this case, and within this particular scenario, a referral doesn't mean much. It means something of course, but not everything. What do I mean to say? Well, just because the person who referred you to a certain Dr. might've had good rapport with them, it doesn't mean, you will. So no matter how good that Dr. is, if you're not feeling it, it's not going to happen, or it shouldn't. When I came upon Dr. Ver Halen, I immediately felt “it”, the good vibe! Instinctively I knew he'd be the one to help me. This, along with his great credentials encouraged me to move forward with him. Did I mention Elaine Ver Halen? She leads me to the following... The staff. I can't tell you how many doctors office's I reached where I did not like the person who answered my online or phone inquisition. That alone prompted me to look elsewhere. Sometimes these folks can rub you the wrong way. What a shame that in the year 2018 and with so much competition at our fingertips, we are still dealing with incompetent, rude, impatient and some narcissistic "gate keepers", (yes, we too, should be cordialI when gathering info). I wonder tho, how many doctors have missed new patients due to the staff not knowing or caring enough to handle an inquisitive caller or online request. You got my point as to what I wanted you to know about Elaine? She was my initial contact person. But as you’ll find out, she’s more than that. She actually plays a very significant roll within this fine-tuned machine, (the office). Elaine really is the woman behind the man’s success. In summary, let's look at this in four parts: (1). It’s preferable to like the people in the front office a.k.a. the staff. First over the phone/online, then in person. Because a high percentage of communication with your Dr. will be through them. (2). You should immediately feel that good vibe and naturally establish a rapport with the Dr. Again, it has to come naturally. (3). This goes without saying but it's worth repeating: THE DOCTOR SHOULD BE BOARD-CERTIFIED, HAVE GREAT CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE FOR YOU TO CONSIDER THEM AS YOUR DOCTOR. The responsibility is yours to research. Dr. Ver Halen is board- certified. (4). Finally, post care. How important is it? We want someone who's going to be there before, during and after our procedure/s. Not just before. In this office, from the front-to-the-back, they were there before, during,...and are still there for me now. A wise person once said, "people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care”. (Unknown) "When someones satisfied with goods or services they’ve received, they might tell three people. When they’re dissatisfied, they’ll tell a thousand”. 8/8/18 I received a bellesoma breast lift and have been in agony for a year, plus 3 revisions and numerous infections. Before I had bellesoma I spoke with Dr Ver halen and voiced my concerns that Dr horndeski (creator) had changed the name and had a few lawsuits. Dr ver halen said "well I'm a better doctor" I trusted him and horndeski was in OR with him. I got open wounds. Seromas, infections and still continue to have breast open up. Plus went from a D to basically a square A, if that. Dr ver halen fired me as a patient after 3 revision and no other doctor will touch me because He took too much skin off my chest! I'll place pictures and video of pus/seromas. The last pics are of my breast just in last week after another wound opened up. We are doing cultures and I pray that I don't have to live in pain or with these so called breasts! The last 2 pics are 1 month post op pushing pus outta my breast!Yes

Wow!!! I lovelovelove!!! that Ideal lipo with Dr. Ver Halen! My first visit at Dr. Ver Halen’s office was absolutely amazing. The customer service level is perfect, and the team members will welcome you with open arms. Dr. Vis a very nice man with an open-mind. One of the best things about Dr. Ver Halen is that he will give you the Lord’s honest truth about your body, and what he CAN and CANNOT do for you. If you have concerns about your health before your surgery, he will get to the bottom of it. But the kindest woman in the world is Kristin, their patient coordinator! They made the procedure fit on my schedule, and on my budget on a payment plan. It is the best money I have ever spent, I swear. One of my favorite things about their office is that the team is the best. They are optimistic, smiling, and helpful 100% of the time. They are normal people that you can relate to. I am 100% satisfied with my surgery, and can’t wait to show off my new body!

Everyone at the office is so friendly and welcoming from the front staff, to the nurse, to Elaine Ver Halen and Dr. Jon Ver Halen. Dr. V is very professional and helpful throughout the process. Check the Texas Medical Board website if you want to know about the character of the doctor (if he remains a doctor). During his suspension he casually told people he would be out of the country or “training” for the summer. That was the cover up for his public reprimand. They have low prices but buyer beware.

June 14, 2019, the Board publicly reprimanding Dr. Ver Halen, suspending his license; however, the suspension is stayed after 90 days and he is placed on probation under the following terms: shall have a chaperone present anytime Dr. Ver Halen performs a physical examination on a female patient; modify his DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate to eliminate Schedules II and III controlled substances; limit his medical practice. The Board found Dr. Ver Halen performed a liposuction procedure on a patient at an improperly equipped medical/dental office without appropriate office-based anesthesia services, prescribed weight-loss medications to eleven patients without performing proper examinations and monitoring the patients, and prescribed controlled substances and performed surgical procedures without maintaining adequate medical records.

Elaine does an amazing job with Botox. She did my Botox about a month ago and it looks fabulous! It did not hurt, her touch was super light, and no bruising whatsoever! Dr. Ver Halen did my Botox a couple of years ago with the same results. Either way, you can't go wrong!

It took me a long time to decide to have a Bellesoma breast lift, but I am happy I finally decided to do it! There are not many surgeons that are qualified to perform this technique, and I did not want to travel to have my surgery. Finally Dr. V appeared as a provider to this type of breast lift. I looked at his reviews and his work, and knew he was the right doctor for me. Then when I had my consultation, I was in 100%. His office and staff are amazing, and he is by far the best physician I have ever met. The surgery went smoothly, and I went home the same day. My breasts looked FANTASTIC after the surgery (better than I can remember!), and have only looked better and better as time has gone by. No wound healing problems, no loss of sensitivity, and they look amazing! I am so glad I waited for Dr. V to bring this technique to Dallas!

I was so afraid to get the tummy tuck and Lipo suction but he put my mind at ease and talked to me the whole way through the procedure. YES I was awake which was amazing I felt nothing and I even walked to the car after. For me there was actually no pain at all.
