Dr. Das was wonderful with my daughter who broke her thumb during a softball tournament. He always talked with us and my daughter instead of at us. He took his time in all the check ups we had with him. Very pleasant and really cares about his patients. We came back to him almost 9 months later when she broke the same thumb during a basketball game. Same excellent service with him and his office. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful with appointments. I definitely recommend Dr. Das to all athletes and their families!

Excellent, fast and very personable service. Very convenient location, spacious clinic space. I have to definetly add that Dr Das is an excellent physician. He worked on my daughters fractured finger. He was very quick and my daughter was so comfortable with the doc. Thanks to him that he responded quick when we called and worked us into his schedule. I would definitely go back and recommend him to whoever needs his expertise.

I had my index finger crushed and was referred to Dr. Das to do the surgery. Dr. Das was a first class professional in explaining the process with great attention to detail. Not only was he spot on, his work was very precise with their state of the art equipment. He is very conscientious and truly cares about his patients. He understands the process of Occupational therapy and was very pro active in getting that going after the surgery. His entire staff is very friendly and knows how to schedule so you are not waiting for long periods of time with your visits. I would highly recommend Dr Das for any hand surgery or reconstruction needs that you may have. Thank you Dr. Das for your first class work.

How do you treat a patient who has a folder of reports, images, studies, and complains of chronic pain from the elbow to the hand? You schedule enough time to share your knowledge and training. You read the reports, images and studies. You allow the patient to discuss and demonstrate the problems. You ask about previous treatments. You exam the patient. You explain your diagnosis and discuss traditional and alternative treatment options. You discuss foreseeable treatment challenges and possible recovery limitations. Sounds simple enough, but doctors must balance patient services with business realities and often patient service is what suffers. This was not the case with either of my visits to Hand & Plastic Surgery Center in Katy. My experience showed Dr. Jack Stephenson to be exceptionally patient focused while his staff was engaged and professional, the waiting area and exam rooms exceptional, and his investment in modern imaging technology an added value and convenience for both patient and doctor. Smart, inquisitive, humble yet confident; I would refer Dr. Stephenson without hesitation.

Dr. Das performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands, on separate occasions this year. He was extremely thorough reviewing how carpal tunnel syndrome occurs, its effects on my body as well as the procedure to release the pressure on my nerve(s). Dr. Das is extremely professional and has excellent communication skills, I would recommend Dr. Das to anyone requiring this type of surgery.

I can feel my fingers again! Dr. Das performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand and I'm thrilled with the results. My fingers were going numb at night and waking me up and then staying numb for hours every day. I slept through the night and woke up with normal fingers the night after the surgery. My carpal tunnel was first diagnosed at a different clinic by a different doctor who recommended surgery even though he called it mild (this was 3 years ago). That doctor spent practically no time with me and jumped straight to surgery and the whole experience was so off-putting that I just bought some braces and never went back to him. 3 years later it's become bad enough that I can't ignore it any longer so I went to see Dr. Das. The difference was night and day. Instead of ordering a bunch of expensive tests (I had nerve tests done at the first place), Dr. Das did some simple positioning which caused my fingers to tingle. We discussed options but both agreed that my right hand is bad enough that it is time for surgery. He spent more time with me than any other doctor has before and I was comfortable with both him and his recommendation. The surgery itself was quick and easier than other procedures I've had. I took OTC painkillers for two days and that was that. The side effects from the OTC meds were harder to manage than the surgery! I had a bit of a freak out the night after getting my stitches out (I've never had stitches anywhere I could see and the wound didn't look like I expected) so I called and left a message with their answering service. Dr. Das called me immediately even though it was a Friday evening and explained what was going on and put me at ease. I really appreciated his quick response, especially on a weekend. I'm very happy with the whole experience and will be scheduling carpal tunnel surgery for my left hand with Dr. Das soon (because now that I can feel my right hand it's more obvious my left has issues too). It's so nice to feel my fingers!

Dr. Dipan Das was the best. Very thorough with explanations and put it so you can understand it. He did both my carpal tunnel surgeries and I am very pleased. My husband had an accidental gunshot to his hand and Dr. Das was excellent in repairing his hand! I would refer everyone to see him if you have a problem!

My daughter fractured her right thumb in late August while dancing. She was in a lot of pain and she could not move her thumb. Not to mention she very frightened. We were referred to the Hand & Plastic Center of Katy. From the moment we arrived at the office we were treated with compassion and professionalism. Dipan Das was is my daughters doctor. I observed my daughter trusted and felt confident in him. She needed surgery and Doctor Dipan performed a successful surgery on her right thumb. After being treated by him My daughters thumb as healed extremely well. We were astonished at how well and quickly her thumb healed. Thank God for Doctor Dipan Das and his blesssed ability. We highly recommend his office.!

I've been seeing Dr. Das for over 6 months and I have always found him extremely caring and practical. I never have to wait long to book an appointment and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes before seeing him. The "live" x-ray is so helpful because it allowed me to see the problem and we could discuss it during the x-ray. I also appreciate how he always presents the pros/cons to treatment options and we come up with a plan together. Plus his staff is very nice! I highly recommend Dr. Das to anyone who needs a hand specialist!

It was my lucky day that Dr. Das was on call when my finger was crushed in a farm accident. Being a real wimp when it comes to pain and blood, I immediately felt better when Dr. Das came in the ER room, assessed the situation, and explained what was going to happen next in a matter of fact but empathetic manner. He is one of those rare doctors that truly sees the patient not just a condition and his enthusiasm and competence relieve any anxiety about the treatment. The Hand & Plastic Surgery Center of Katy is a well run office that is a pleasure to visit. All of the staff are friendly and the punctuality of the doctor is outstanding.

Dr. STEVENSON was Great from start to finish. I had the new carpal tunnel procedure done in the office under no anesthesia and went back to work the next week.... I had pain and tingling in my hands, couldn’t sleep. I called Katy Hand and Plastic Surgery set up appointment for Monday. I saw Dr Das and he recommended carpal tunnel relief surgery. Friday morning I had surgery. It was the best thing I could Have done. The pain and tingling subsided almost immediately and I was Able to sleep once again. I found Dr. Das from google and took my father here from all these great reviews! We came to the right place and are highly satisfied with their service! Dr. Das was very helpful, thoroughly explained every step/his diagnosis, exceptionally knowledgeable, and friendly. The wait was short too. In addition, their receptionist was very helpful and friendly too. My father misplaced his insurance cards and she patiently called and verified all his coverage. My father has been having severe wrist pain which started 2 months ago. He was seen by other doctors but was told it was nerve related and was prescribed just pain meds. I was worried he may need surgery. His condition worsened with swelling so I immediately searched for a hand specialist and found Dr. Das. He examined and diagnosed my father with trigger finger which all it took was a new splint, steroid injections, anti inflammatories, and changing his activity! I have a very happy father who now calls him “The Hand Master”!

Luckily she did not need surgery, but Dr. Daz provided excellent care, live x-rays, multiple casts and beneficial recommendations. I had hand surgery on both hands back in October 2016. Dr Das was excellent, I would highly recommend him. He has an excellent staff as well. I had no surprises with my bills, never had to wait for an appointment not even the first time I went to see him. Dr Das was super nice, excellent care in the clinic as well in the outpatient department. Never felt rush, he listen to all my concerns. The best part my hands are pain free and no scare. Excellent Excellent Physician! 2019 once again I had pain on my hands and this time the pain was a little different, Dr Das was able to give me all the answers I needed and happy it was not the same issue again. I got a referral here from an urgent care I went to and so glad I came. Dr. Stephenson and his staff are amazing. The office was easy to find and had a very calming atmosphere. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was nervous about surgery but he was very reassuring. His receptionist is also very helpful. I had an overall extremely positive experience here, from the front to back the end there was nothing but a professional and welcoming experience. I'm writing this about 6 months after my surgery and the scar is healing extremely well on my finger, and the pain was all but gone days after the surgery. The surgery itself was painless and easy, I fell asleep during it even with no sedation. So I'd recommend this place to anyone who's experiencing finger or joint pain, as the doctor was able to alleviate my pain outstandingly.
