I had a mommy makeover on 11/30/17. I want to start by saying that from my first visit to the office I knew I was at the right place. The staff is amazing, always greeting you by name when you come in. I’ve had minor things done such as a facial to a major mommy makeover surgery and I was always treated the same. Dr Najera is very attentive, he really listens to what you want but I like the fact that he is honest about what you can expect. There are always risk with any surgery, every thing was thoroughly explained. I had no issues and everything was perfect. I was overly prepared and that’s all due to the Dr and his amazing staff. I still see Dr Najera for my monthly post op visits since I’m only 2 months post surgery. It doesn’t just end with the surgery. They really take care of you post op and want you to be happy with your results. My results are amazing, my tummy tuck incision was so low and barely noticeable. Thank you Dr Najera for giving me my body back!!

I thought I had researched a great surgeon but it turns out I was just another number to him. The personality and attentiveness you see on snap chat is just a ploy to get patients. It’s not an adequate representation of the care you’ll receive. I had wanted a breast augmentation for around 10 years and finally had saved up enough to get one. It was not something I took lightly and because I knew I could not afford a revision I spent 6 months researching exactly what I wanted. I knew I wanted mod plus for the natural shape. I made sure I was very clear about that and everyone I talked to in the office was aware that I wanted mod plus and I would not be happy with anything else. The only interaction I had with Dr. Nejara before surgery was my pre op which he was literally in the room for a total of four minutes for. He was clearly very rushed. After I left that appointment I realized we hadn’t even discussed an implant choice. So I called up there to triple check it was clear I wanted MOD PLUS. So imagine how unhappy I was when I wake up from surgery and am told he made a decision in the OR to put in high profile. I was devastated. I understand a doctor changing things he might thinks look better in the OR if he was aware of preferences of his patient and had discussed them. But we hadn’t talked about it at all in the extremely rushed pre op. I also mentioned how uneven they were at my last appointment and got a generic “they’re sisters not twins” answer. If I’m paying almost $10 grand they need to be at least fraternal. They’re an inch uneven. When I put a construction leveler to right under the nipple the bubble goes all the way to one end. If I could go back in time I wish I would have researched my doctor better.

If I could ever even get an appointment I could review his work, however I can't even get a callback about an appointment. I originally left messages last year after being referred by my family doctor. I called and left 3-4 messages days apart because I could never get a live person. So I tried again - last week I called and left a message, and got a return call on Monday (May 23) was told the person doing the scheduling wasnt in until the next day so they would call me back. I got a missed call and returned the call and was told she wasn't available. They took my name and number down and said they would call me back by the end of the day. No callback that day or the next day. I called again and left yet another voicemail trying to sound calm, despite my aggravation. Still no callback. The first number they called me on to callback goes right to voicemail and the other had me on hold for about 10 minutes until prompting me to leave a message. I've exhausted all resources in my attempt to reach them as no one is answering at any of the options nor returning any messages. Don't waste your time - I will be seeking a new referral.

First off, I have never had any major surgery before. So this experience had my nerves a mess but after meeting with Dr. Najera, everything changed. He answered all my questions, never made me feel like my questions were stupid, he made me feel comfortable, and even cracked some jokes. I live in florida and traveled just for this surgery. Everyone made sure I had all I need for when I returned home. It was a very nice comforting experience. Surgery day came and once again he was gentle and ready. He assured me my safety and took all precautions needed to ensure success. His staff was amazing, Hi lupe and Rachel, in and out of the surgery room. Amber was a doll and very patient with me. Dr. Najera had a very funny anesthesiologist that put me at ease (literally lol) his name was Chad. I'll never forget the name because I always think of Charlies Angels haha. Once I woke up from surgery Dr. Najera was the first face I saw and I was surrounded by his crew, checking my vitals and making sure I was okay. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I was also lucky to see and have surgery in his new clinic and it was so clean and beautiful. I wish Dr. Najera continued success in his practice and career. Couldn't be any more happy with my results so far and I'm only 4 weeks out.

My surgery was 05/17/2017 and my revision surgery will be next week. My new surgeon and family doctor have prescribed pain management aids, muscle relaxers and holistic remedies to get me through until my current implants are removed. Apparently my surgery with Najera went over by half an hour and I indirectly received a petty $300 bill from the hospital because they were instructed to “bill the patient” which is nothing short of a SLAP in the face!!! Let’s talk about why this is SO utterly disgusting and disturbing. This is my second set of implants. In 2009 I had my first surgery in Newport Beach, CA. I gave birth to two children (2010/2013) so it was time to have them replaced. The implants Dr. Najera used are the same brand as my original ones and only 110cc larger; unfortunately for me they encapsulated shortly after surgery during the recovery period. Thus far the speculation is that my right breast is an excruciating grade 4 and the left is a 3. Regarding this $300 operation overage. I had three follow up visits with Najera and his Nurse no one EVER said... A. Surgery went over the allotted time B. What caused it to take additional time C. DUE to that, I would owe the hospital facility more money. If I decided to get the revision done it would be another $4,500 on top of the money I handed over six months ago! And I have to eat the $300 that I still have zero explanation or understanding of how or why the surgery went over to begin? Clearly the social media persona, hype and status is a higher priority than patient care and retention! From the beginning I was annoyed with the constant phone, email and communication issues they defaulted too. They called me to reschedule my initial consultation. Then my pre-op due to relocating the practice to the new location. On June 16th a clear example of priorities was demonstrated. As I’m waiting in the exam room, I could hear Najera and his staff screaming and hollering for someone’s 30th Birthday. After several dry runs or rehearsals; I finally had enough sense to press record at 9:27am so I could share the nonsense with my husband. I’m all for the workplace camaraderie - it’s very cute and thoughtful of them to make others feel special, however he’s half an hour behind schedule having a mini-party right outside the exam rooms, it just unacceptable! There’s a time and place for all that... it’s called a lunch break or after business hours. What would have happened if I strolled in 30 minutes late? Without a doubt I’d be turned away or charged a no-show fee. Let’s not forget THEY are charging me the $300 for him taking longer than anticipated during surgery. just beware. . . That is THE REAL DR. DALLAS!!! My final follow up visit at his office was also my Birthday. I was told in short “the hardness will not subside with time, the only way to fix the issue is to remove the implants and scar tissue.” Najera did mention using cadaver tissue (or skin) which ‘may help to reduce’ the capsular contracture from happening again but no in-depth conversation aside from that. As I digested that information, I thought to myself {I already have something foreign in my body that’s being rejected or causing a reaction} as routine as it may be to a medical professional, I’m worried about things like genetics, DNA, the short and long term risk of life with breast implants if I’m having an issue so early on. Needless to say I didn’t feel comfortable going forward despite the implant warranty and discounted surgeons fee. It took three emails and two weeks to receive my quote for the revision and Amber started the conversation with “I apologize you didn’t receive my previous email”. To this day, I have not received ONE follow up call or email to see if I had any questions, how I’m feeling, what I’m thinking about doing or when. I guess if I’m flagged in their computer I may get lucky to receive a six month follow up call this Friday 11/17/2017!

I had a consult with Dr. Najera for a breast augmentation and lift in November 2011. He and his staff were very welcoming and attentive to all my questions and concerns. I was both excited and nervous about the procedure. Dr. Najera and his staff helped me feel calm and comfortable. He is a very gentle and compassionate Doctor who listens to your needs. The staff gives you healthy “does” and “don't” prior to the surgery which help you be more prepared for your big day. I had my surgery at the end of January and I could not be happier with my results. Another thing I liked very much was that they took before and after pictures. To be able to see those pictures next to each other just gave me more conformation it was the right decision and Dr. Najera did a beautiful job. Dr Najera is great!!! I had a tummy tuck in 2017 and I am totally happy with my results. The only thing I am not happy about is that I didn't do it sooner or even find Dr. Najera sooner. I had an allergic reaction after my surgery. Dr. Najera was so attentive and concerned that he gave me his private cell phone number in case I needed to reach him at anytime. Now here I am over 2 years after the surgery, my scar is flat and looks great. My belly button is fantastic!! Thank you Dr. Najera. If I have any plastic surgery done again I will definitely be seeing Dr. Najera.

Dr. Najera did my reconstructive surgery after double mastectomy from breast cancer. I had some lypo from the stomach area which they used the fat for my breast reconstruction which left my stomach lumpy so afterwards I opted for a tummy tuck. 3 surgeries in all. I was sent to see Dr. Najera in March of this year after having gone through 6 surgeries for a hernia repair within the last 1 year and 4 months. The end result of the last surgery (November 2011) before I went to see Dr. Najera was that I looked to be about 8 months pregnant. I am not a big person - so the extended stomach was very, very visible. I was miserable due to having nausea and pain every day for the past 16 months. I was seriously doubtful about anyone being able to correct this fiasco. My 1st visit with Dr. Najera was such a wonderful experience. He could tell that I was at the end of my endurance and he put me at ease and said with confidence "When things get this bad, they send them to me. My job is to make sure that this is corrected and that you won't have to deal with this again." His staff are just as compassionate as he is! They were very professional, yet sensitive to my needs. You won't find a group of people better than them!! Throughout the entire time with the surgery and recuperation (April 2012), he was such a sweet and compassionate doctor and he made my abdomen look as if nothing had ever been wrong to begin with!! I now have a flat stomach and can wear my clothes that I haven't been able to for over a year. I can walk again, eat again, and enjoy life that had been elusive for so long. Many people have come up to me since my return to work in May so totally shocked at the difference and I have been told I look great!! I would recomend Dr. Najera to anyone and know with confidence that they are in good hands with their health and body. Dr. Najera and the staff (particularly Zelena Leeks, the surgery coordinator) are completely negligent when it comes to their patients. Dr. Najera performed my tenth surgery, a Bilateral Oncological Breast Mammoplasty, after nine other surgeries to cut out infection and cancer by Dr. Dao. It was Dr. Najera's job to finish illuminating what ever pre cancerous cells may have been left along with recontrusting my breasts to be even and look a little better after the nine other surgeries that had been done to my right breast. Not only did he butcher me, but he left me with my nipple hanging on by a thread. My post op follow a week after surgery was clearly not of importance to him as he passed me on to his PA Kelly to manage my care from there. Kelly not only left several sutures in that she missed! But she completely dismisses my concerns for a infection I knew I had. After going to the Emergency Room twice, and getting a recommendation from Dr. Paul (an urgent care doctor) who insisted I get other treatment by Dr Najera. I am now here on week 5 with an MRSA infection. Let's rewind a bit to week 4 though. I attended my third post op follow up and FINALLY I saw Dr. Najera who had a Medical Assistant take out the remaining sutures Kelly forgot, he "assured me" that my infection was normal and he would prescribe me a cream to help with the Necrotic scabbing I had. He also said if I felt I needed more treatment for this infection which he found to be "minor," even though he never did a culture and just looked at, that I should go see my old infectious disease doctor. Dr. Brenner (infectious diseases) not only confirmed Dr. Najera's negligence but also made a comment about "Why don't doctors ever read a chart." She then cultured my breast infection and I am now going into a mini surgery tomorrow (July 19, 2017) to have a PICC line put in and so that wound care can try and scrape out some of this infection Dr. Najera let get so far. When I called the clinic to let them know what was going on Zelene answered and as soon as I told her what was going on she had no cosideration for me. Only for herself and the practice by their lack of care for me! This place is ridiculous and it's sad that I even have to continue to go here to receive "care" for the continuation of my surgical follow ups. This is NOT a doctor I would recommend to ANYONE! And it looks like I'm gonna have to find another surgeon to clean up his mess.....
