Dr. Piazza and his staff are nothing short of amazing. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, my breast surgeon recommended a few plastic surgeons. I was overwhelmed with the treatment options I was facing. Dr. Piazza was personable, understanding, and took the time to thoroughly discuss and show me each one. Dr. Piazza and his staff answered my many questions before and after the double mastectomy and breast reconstruction. Going into both surgeries, I was not as nervous because I had full confidence in he and his team. I don’t feel like I could have gotten this good of a result with any other plastic surgeon. Lastly, his practice goes above and beyond raising funds yearly for BCRC, a non-profit that has helped me and my family through this process.

After interviewing 2 other doctors, and came to Dr. Piazza through a friend, who had also had similar procedure done. Jennifer, Heather, and Dr. Piazza were a wonderful entrance to an already nerve wracking procedure. They immediately set you at ease and answered all my concerns during conversation, that I didnt have any more questions. It was a speedy process for me, and today is day 1 after my procedure. Im already excited about the results. My pain is minimal and have had zero nausea effects. The team he has collaborated with is excellent, warm and friendly. All the information I read beforehand said, emotions would be all over the place, but Ive been excited and extremely happy so far since I started this journey.

For years I had been exercising, dieting and trying EVERYTHING under the sun to get rid of my belly and love handles. They just wouldn't budge! After exhausting most non-surgical options, I did some research and asked around about liposuction. Dr. Piazza was highly recommended. So I finally scheduled a visit with Dr. Piazza to see what he could do. During my consultation, we decided on liposuction on the abs, flanks and thighs. Before the surgery, he and his nurse Heather, prepared me for what to expect with surgery and recovery. They were kind, patient and listened intently to all my questions/concerns. They made sure I was prepared and that all my questions were answered before the surgery. The after care I received from Dr. Piazza, his nurses, Heather and Traci was very extremely impressive. I am not sure you could get that level of service anywhere else. They were thorough and extremely caring with my recovery. Traci was always available by phone for any question I forgot to ask during the follow up appointments or for any concern that popped up in my head during the recovery phase. But as for the procedure, my results were phenomenal! I feel like a new person! I have a new confidence about me and feel great in my clothes for the first time in a very long time. Dr. Piazza and his staff are fabulous! They are an incredible team, true professionals in plastic surgery and just great people.

Actually really listened and understood what I wanted my results to be. I wanted natural, conservative sized implants after a lift. I trusted him to use his discretion in sizing after telling him what I wanted. Many doctors would have gone much bigger- I am broad and tall- but Dr. P went smaller than we even discussed. I don't even know where to begin. I have been wanting to have a tummy tuck or liposuction for the past 10-15 years because I went from having an hour-glass shape to an apple shape due to menopause. I have been to four other plastic surgeons in Austin for consultations, but never felt comfortable after said visits. This year I decided that this was the time. I had lost over 20 pounds through getting my hormones straightened back out, exercise and proper eating. So I started searching the internet and found Dr. Piazza. Knowing that I wanted a board certified surgeon, I did more research and found very good, if not glowing, reviews of Dr. Piazza and his staff, so I sent a contact request through his website. Literally within the hour, I received a call from his care coordinator, Kristen, to discuss my situation. She spent easily an hour with me on the telephone hearing my story and discussing my options, so I make an appointment for a consultation. Quite honestly after so many other visits, I was still skeptical. Boy was I ever wrong. I met with Kristen to discuss again my options and then Dr. P entered the room. I felt instantly at ease and he spent quite some time with me discussing options, different surgeries and how together we could enhance my appearance and therefore help me retrieve my confidence after menopause. I decided on the "mommy makeover" (tummy tuck and breast lift) which in my case, as I told him, would be a grandmommy makeover since I do have a 2-1/2 year old granddaughter. I have never had ANY kind of surgery so I was quite nervous in the days leading up to the surgery. Right before my surgery, he sat down on the bed, took my hands and calmly and gently reassured me (and my husband) that he was going to take the best care of me and that all would be well. His surgical nurse called my husband several times from the OR to assure him that all was going well and where they were in the procedure, and kept him informed all along the way. This Thursday will be 3 weeks since my surgery and I can tell you that I have received the best of care. Dr. P and his staff (Hayley, Kristen and Anayeli) have answered my emails and phone calls in an amazingly timely manner. I even had to call him one Sunday because I had a couple of questions, and I was put through to him within minutes. He calmly and cheerfully answered my questions, and even chastised me when I apologized for calling him on a Sunday. Even though I still have some swelling, my body already looks amazing and I am feeling much more confident and can't wait to go swimsuit shopping at the end of my 6 week recovery period and the swelling has gone down. I told him that I wanted to have this done but that I wanted to look "natural" and so far so good!! I wish I could give Dr. P 10 stars, because he is that amazing. He is a perfectionist and his expertise is superior. He absolutely has the best "bed size" manner of any surgeon that I have ever met - and I've met quite a few through other family members. I was facing a lot of dread and uncertainty when I found out I would have to have a double mastectomy. My expectations for a good result were pretty minimal until I met with Dr. Piazza. He told me that he thought I would have beautiful breasts post-surgery and our goal was to make it look like I had never undergone a mastectomy. Well, he was good to his word. I can't believe what he was able to achieve. Add to that, the fact that his office is filled with the nicest people, there is never a wait AND Dr. Piazza called me at home to check on me...Well, I can not recommend him any more highly!

I have always known I wanted breast augmentation surgery. Other than that I had no idea how to go about deciding who to choose for the procedure. I googled plastic surgeons in Austin, TX and called the first doctor that popped up after reading her reviews online. I made an appointment for a consultation and after I left the visit I had almost no information and I felt like there was a lot left unsaid. I had very small breasts and wanted to go bigger, the doctor I originally met with made me feel guilt for wanting to go bigger and told me she wouldn't preform the procedure unless I agreed to the size she choose. All I knew was I was getting breast implants so stupidly I scheduled the surgery with her. After a month I met with an old coworker who had had surgery 6 months prior. She asked me about 10 questions which I had no answer to. I felt uninformed and unsure. Why did I have so little information about such an important decision? She recommended I call her doctor and schedule a consultation because she was so happy with her experience and her results. I did and met with Dr. Piazza and his staff. It was EVERYTHING I pictured the experience would be. They were friendly, informative, fun, and professional. I felt comfortable and had an amazing time talking to them about what my expectations were. When I left I immediately cancelled my surgery date with the other surgeon and rebooked with The Piazza Center. I'm 6 months out from surgery and I couldn't be happier. My chest size is 36 DD. They are perky, symmetrical, big, round and sexy. If you have any doubts about a doctor, I say keep looking. I never had any doubt about Dr. Piazza and am so happy about my decision. I selected Dr. Piazza for my tummy tuck with hernia repair procedure after countless consultations with various plastic surgeons in the Austin area. This office is wonderful until they get paid, then they ignor you. My wife now has a infection in her surgical scare and the office has basically ignored her. For 3 weeks she has been in I tense pain and the have only given her Advil and that is now making her sick to her stomach on top of everything else. She has an open sore at the surgical incision point and the recommendation was an over the counter cream and to cover with panty liners. We have both stated the concern for the infection but have been ignored by both Dr Piazza, and Heather the head nurse. We have no other course of action but to go to another plastic surgeon and get her the proper post surgical she deserves and paid for. All I can tell you is be very very careful of this practice as they are increadible up to the point they get paid. Then we became absolutely ignored. I share this with anyone considering g and hope you never have to deal with what we are dealing with. The post surgical care is completely earful. I hope the message is enough to reconsider this office. We are now 31/2 weeks after surgery, she is still in terrible pain, and no one from this office will even respond to our requests for service and help. They have simply turned there back on us. What ever you decide don’t fall for the slick sales pitch from this Dr Office. We did and now we are completely on our own looking for another Dr for post surgical care.

I am so impressed with everything about Dr. Piazza and the Piazza staff. They are all professional, highly skilled, informative, and considerate. I trust that they always have my best interest in mind. I feel they are passionate about giving great care to their patients and achieving fantastic results. After a below average BC reconstruction less than 2 years ago, a friend with excellent BC reconstruction experience recommended Dr. Piazza. I had a few consults with reputable Austin surgeons, but Dr. Piazza was confident that by moving my pectoral muscles back to their natural location and swapping tear drop implants for round was the way to improve my reconstruction results. Because I am petite and lack breast tissue, Dr. Piazza also recommended transferring fat to fix the rippling and divots that were from my original reconstruction. Dr. Piazza far exceeded my expectations. My muscle aches and breast distortion from movement have disappeared. My breasts are evenly located, divot free, ripple free, have a more natural slope, perkier, move as if they were natural breasts and no longer look as if I am in need of a support bra! The results are perfect! Dr. Piazza is a reconstruction, liposuction and fat transfer genius! I wish he had done my first reconstruction! I am so grateful that Dr. Piazza gave me the confidence to go through a complete reconstruction redo. I still cannot believe how much better I look and feel physically and emotionally!
