Post continued from kaabrah account: Issues with the fat grafting: My abdomen has been puffed up in one location ever since the fat was removed to be placed into my face. It has not gone back to normal (It has been 6 months). It looks deformed and odd. It's also very possible, that an additional reason I am having trouble breathing is he may have placed the fat too far in by my nasal area. Issues with the bletheroplasty: This is probably the most successful of Dr. Fortes procedures but once again, done sloppily. The lower bletheroplasties were not evenly done. One of the scar lines is lower than the other. The one that is lower is visible for people to see. One my right upper bletheroplasty there is scar tissue/a scab that will not go away. Aside from all of the screw-ups on my face, Dr. Fortes and especially his assistant are unprofessional and rude. The second time I came in after my surgery, I pointed out the different things I was concerned about on my nose. At that point, my concerns were around the alar base reduction because it was very clear that the nostrils were sewed on in different locations. I was not hysterical, but Dr. Fortes told me that I just needed to go home and to take some xanex. I was so uncomfortable with the way that Dr. Fortes handled the situation, that I went to a different plastic surgeon to discuss the issues. I was met with empathy, kindness and concern from that doctor, which is how Dr. Fortes should have treated me. Denise Bautista, Dr. Fortes's assistant is one of the rudest people I have ever met. She has no business being in a customer service or client interfacing role. I emailed her multiple times stating my concerns and received no response from her. I also called her several times with no response. I finally tried to circumvent her due to the lack of response by talking to some of the other staff members and letting them know that I wanted to get ahold of Dr. Fortes. That actually prompted a response because when she found out I was trying to circumvent her and speak to a different assistant or speak directly to Dr. Fortes, she called me, became incredibly combative and started yelling at me on the phone. I spent $15K actually having the surgeries performed. I will have to spend, at a minimum, another $10K+ time off of work/trauma of going through another surgery to attempt to fix the mistakes that he made. I also lost another $15K because I forfeited my bonus in order to get the surgery done. At the end of the day, I completely regret getting any surgeries done with Dr. Fortes as I am left with multiple deformities and will have to go through the pain, suffering and cost of additional surgeries. The mistakes that he made cannot be 100% fixed and can only be improved. Here is what one plastic surgeon said about my face: I am sad to see your case, it is a total mess and now you'll need a full revision, you have reasons for your concerns; let me list some of your problems: -over resected dorsum and saddle nose deformity, you'll need onlay dorsal grafting and eventually temporalis fascia to hide the graft -open roof deformity and missing osteotomies (or incompetent), needin proper infracturing -inverted V deformity, still not visible due to swelling, but soon will appear and may need spacer grafting -poor tip work, it is swollen so it is unclear to which extent, but surely will need revision, re-defining and refining -massive damage to alar and nostril support, collapse of the nostrils and pinching, needing batten grafts and eventually rim grafts to restore the shape -seems an assymmetrical nostril reduction and the scar is ectopic, outside the natural crease where it sould be, so this needs revision somehow Difficulty will be 9 out of 10 scale of revision rhinoplasties, surgical time 5-6 hours, you need a total overhaul and structural rhinoplasty, do research well who will perform the case, it is of extreme complexity.

For over a year I had bounced back and forth with the idea of getting the "mommy makeover" and finally decided to have it completed this past August. I got the tummy tuck, breast lift, some liposuction to my back area, and a little fat grafting to my butt. I am not sure what I was expecting, but seeing by before and after (4 weeks post op) pictures side by side was an eye opener. I have always struggled with the little muffin top and my jeans falling if I forgot to wear a belt because I had a flat butt. Dr. Fortes was able to give me a waste I have not seen since high school with a flat tummy. Bye Bye muffin top!!! I always thought my breasts were nice, but needed a little lift. I never realized that they were not proportionate. He worked his magic and I love my breasts! My hubby says that they are now in the pent house. It is also nice to finally have some junk in my trunk. Dr. Fortes and his staff have been extremely professional, and easy to talk to. I never once felt uncomfortable. They will go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. I have no regrets with selecting Dr. Fortes. He gave me the body I always wanted, but have never been able to achieve on my own. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Fortes and his staff. You will not be disappointed.

Dr.Fortes and staff are really great. I got a BBL by Dr.Fortes and he did an amazing job! If you are wanting a natural look, Dr.Fortes is perfect for you. I wanted a subtle BBL that went with my body and he designed just that! My waste is tiny and my Butt is super grabable now! Dr.Fortes also had great bedside manners and made me feel very comfortable on surgery day. It’s been two month now and I can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror! Thank you Dr.Fortes for contouring my body and for giving me my confidence back! No one can tell me anything now! I know I’m a baddie lol!

From the receptionist, office personnel, surgical team to Dr. Fortes, I felt comfortable and respected for the Grandma that I am. They answered all questions in detail and without hesitation, explained what to expect and all financials upon first visit. It's been a year since my face/neck work by Dr. Fortes and I regret allowing him to finish the work with Kenalog. Big disappointment and eventually had to pay more money elsewhere. Research thoroughly before choosing a surgeon or procedure for your face/neck area because poor results on skin on that area of the body are more disheartening than on areas you can cover up. Also, I've read some surgeons get their own staff to write positive reviews, so you'd do well to read a variety of review websites and judge reviewers themselves for authenticity.

My experience was amazing. The staff is very friendly every time I visit for my follow ups. Dr. Fortes and his staff made me feel real comfortable after being nervous of doing surgery. Day of surgery, Dr. Fortes and his staff spoke to me before surgery and felt ready. During surgery I was awake however, I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Fortes has such patience and awesome hands for surgery. I even fell asleep, until he talked to me to see how I was feeling and doing, then when he said he was done, I was so surprised he was done. I didn't feel anything. Since then I've been visiting for follow ups, the staff and the doctor are all so amazing. Dr. Fortes is definitely my top choice and I highly recommend him. He made me feel comfortable thru the entire process where it feels we've known each other for a long time and I can ask him anything about surgeries without feeling embarrassed or shy.

My 6 year old daughter ripped her earlobe and wants it repaired as she does dance/gymnastics and puts her hair up a lot. I was Charged a $100 consult fee, brought into a room and had me wait almost an hour to tell me what they could have and should have told me over the phone. They don't recommend doing a repair on her until she's older unless she's under anesthesia. They knew her age when I made the appointment. Enjoy my $100.

I cannot give enough stars to Dr Fortes for the excellent job he did. During the last freeze, I accidentally fell on black ice and had a large gaping hole above and including part of my right eyebrow that looked impossible to fix. Dr Fortes took me in immediately and did a remarkable job of not only stitching it back together pain free, but also repairing the nerve damage so I could move my eyebrow again. I can’t thank him enough for all he and his wonderful staff did for me.

Dr.Fortes performed a scar revision for my teenage daughter. She had a large irregular scar on her abdomen from an emergency surgery procedure and she was always self-conscious about this scar. Dr. Fortes was able to make her scar so much less visible and it's getting better looking every week. He was very thorough ,explained what to expect , his staff is great. we are very satisfied. My friend referred me to Dr. Fortes. I went in for a consultation and was immediately impressed with how accommodating their facility and employees were with me. Everyone I spoke with was so sweet and polite. I am a teacher so I was a little embarrassed to talk about the cost. Everyone was so sweet and very understanding. I believe I got a really reasonable price for as much liposuction as I wanted. I'm very thankful for Dr. Fortes and his artistry. I have always had a pooch in my stomach area. Being a teacher and in grad school I gained a lot of weight. I have always wanted liposuction and after speaking with my friend I decided to bite the bullet and go in for a consultation. Dr. Fortes made me feel very comfortable during the consultation and answered any questions I asked. The day of surgery I was excited and nervous but the nurses put me at ease really quick. They were the sweetest to me before and after surgery. I never had to wait hours to see Dr. Fortes which was a blessing. I hate going to a doctor's office because you never know how long you'll be waiting. I loved that everyone was quick and efficient. The office is also flexible with your schedule, which I love because I have had things come up last minute and had to reschedule. They were able to schedule me the days and times I needed so I didn't have to miss too much work. Dr. Fortes is so diligent post-op as well. Also, the nurses would answer any question I had for them after surgery. I know I bombarded them with questions all the time and everyone was willing to answer my questions in a very caring and understanding tone. If I ever want more plastic surgery I will be going back to Dr. Fortes and his practice. I now am looking forward to having my before and after pictures because I can see a difference in my body but now I want to compare the difference! :) Thank you Dr. Fortes for giving me some confidence in my body! It is priceless the feeling you have when you feel good about how your body looks in the mirror.

Good day to all, I had my abdominal plastic surgery with Dr Fortes on Jan 2016. The results were ok. Not excellent as I expected. I was expecting to have s flat tommy but unfortunately it did not happen. It’s true that o had a huge tommy and now it looks very good. It may be due to the fact that my expectations was tooo high. In terms of treatment, assistance, follow up I totally recommend Dr Fortes and his team.

I did a lot of research when I was looking for a surgeon to do my breast augmentation. I am a curvy girl and my bottom half just didn't match my top half. I virtually had no breasts. My "before" picture almost looked like a picture of a boy. I had them done before I had children and to this day I get compliments on how natural they look. Anyone that I have told that I have implants is shocked that they are not real. I was scared to lose sensitivity or not be able to breast feed but I feel blessed that I have had absolutely no negative issues. Dr. Fortes is quite the perfectionist and I have referred many of my friends to him and all of them are so happy with their results. Also, when he did my breast augmentation, he also fixed a liposuction job that another doctor had done. The other doctor had made a mess of my inner thighs and Dr. Fortes completely fixed it and made it perfect. I would never take the chance to go to anyone other than Dr. Fortes.

He's compassionate and has a great bedside manner. I had a full face lift with minimal bruising and swelling. The bruises were gone after two weeks. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Fortes. After my recent visit, I was reminded of why I went with him for my surgery 10 years ago. He LISTENS to his patients and in my opinion, that's the most important quality of any doctor. Having surgery with Dr. Fortes was over all an amazing experience. Down to every last person that works in his office. I had such a pleasant experience with scheduling, my consult and every appointment leading up to my surgery. The day after my surgery Dr. Fortes sent a nurse all the way out to my house in cypress to check on me and she delivered a sweet bouquet from Him and his office. My recovery was around 2 weeks. I recommend taking Tylenol during recovery instead of the narcotic if you don’t like the negative side effects, like me. On top of this great experience I am BEYOND HAPPY with my results. Seriously life changing. I’ve never been happier with my body and look forward to swimsuit season and every time I get to go shopping and try on new outfits. I feel like my body is finally proportional and my results are so natural looking that no one ever guesses I had a procedure. I have been very pleased with my service from Dr. Fortes. He has been readily available and his staff is very prompt in communicating back on questions both before and after surgery. I’m 6 weeks post surgery for a lift, reduction, and Lipo of the back. Pain was minimal and swelling took about 6 weeks to go down. All incisions are healing great and I haven’t had any pop open. The scarring appears that it will be minimal. Dr. Fortes was very thorough during the consultation and has a great bedside manner. He is easy to talk to and was available at my patient consent appointment to answer any last minute questions. The day of surgery he came to check on me prior to surgery. Once I woke up in recovery it was a smooth transition home. One nice perk I received from this practice is a nurse drove out to my home and checked everything first day post op. That visit was included with the cost of the surgery. I’m very pleased with the results thus far. I’m hoping I go down a little more in the next month as I measured one size larger than what we were aiming for. Luckily I am happy with the shape and natural look of his work. If I were to do it all over again I may have brought in a bra in the size I was aiming to be. Don't hesitate to schedule a consult with Dr. Fortes.

Okay I have to admit, I herd all the stories the Good the bad and honestly I can say I had the best experience with Dr.Fotes he’s amazing he sculpted me exactly to my liking I showed him one picture and he gave me exactly what I asked for, the team calls eveyday to check on me. Dr. Fortes did an excellent job on my Brazilian butt lift and liposuction. I have always been embarrassed about my flat butt. I did squats, stairs, and ran, all through my twenties and thirties, all to no avail. I bought clothes that hid my butt. I am now a woman in my fifties and I never imagined that I would ever have a butt like this- much less at my age. It is now shapely and round. I am on the thin side, but Dr. Fortes used what fat I had around my waist, back and stomach to give me the butt I never thought I could have. I also now have a very small waist and stomach. Dr. Fortes did not over promise. He was very honest about what he could do, and delivered more than I expected. I highly recommend him. I know when we are older, other things are more important to us than how we look, but this really gave me a confidence boost, and it is fun to buy clothes that dont hide my butt anymore!!
