24 years ago I had breast implant surgery which was an awful post-op experience, plus I spent the next 24 years unhappy with the results but never wanting to go through that surgery again. Then recently, one of the implants went hard and grotesque-looking, so since Dr. Hermann had such good reviews I went to him to fix things. What a contrast! Not only was the recovery comparatively easy, but the results are the diametric reverse of the fiasco 24 years ago. Everything is right and feels right and looks good. Maybe it's the technology advancement or maybe he's a genius, or both, but I'm very relieved and happy!

Dr. Hermann is very caring and sensitive when dealing with plastic surgery issues. When you have skin cancers removed from your face, you certainly do not want to have it show. The issues were resolved and even though it has only been 1 1/2 weeks, the scar is barely noticed. He explained everything he was doing along the way and I was very comfortable with the entire procedure. The office staff are all friendly and caring. I will certainly use Dr. Hermann again should the need arise.

Dr. Hermann & his staff are wonderful. I'm a breast cancer patient 2 years out from having a double mastectomy. I'm new to Texas (July 2015), having lived in Ohio for 21 years. I found Dr. Hermann online & chose him based on all of the positive reviews. I'm still in the early stages of my reconstruction, but I already know it was the right choice My case required an extensive (8-9 hour) surgery & when I woke up, I was already pleased with the results. I can hardly wait to see the results a few months down the line! Update 3/1/18: I am 15 months out from my final procedure with Dr. Hermann & continue to be extremely happy with the results. On 2/1/18, I had an appointment with my new OBGYN & she remarked that my reconstruction is the best one she's ever seen! I'd say that's a pretty glowing recommendation. Dr. Hermann & his staff are so friendly & personable that though I'm glad my reconstruction is done, I do miss seeing them.

Dr. Herman spent an hour and a half with me on my initial consultation. His staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. He was thorough and explained all the pros and cons in great detail. I didn't feel rushed and I felt he answered all my questions honestly and without sugar coating anything. I've scheduled my procedure and I look forward to great results.

Dr. Hermann had to perform an I&D, an incision and drain for a staph infection in my eye. I was told because of the area of the infection I was going to be transferred out of the hospital to an eye specialist. Mind you, I've had the infection for over two weeks and by this point my pain level was at a 10, my blood pressure was in the danger zone, and I felt as if I was going to die or lose my eye or both. It was swollen completely shut full of fluid and I was unrecognizable. However, my Dr. Consulted with Dr. Hermann about my case and he immediately came to my hospital room to view the severity of the situation. He decided that there was no reason to transfer me because he felt confident about doing the procedure and giving me much needed relief. He spoke to me about what was to happen and left. On the day of my surgery, I was anxious to get it over with, starving and thirsty as I was not allowed to have any food or liquid due to the need for anesthesia, and honestly, a bit confused and unsure of what to expect as I've never went under anesthesia for a surgery like this. I have to say, I had actually had the same problem back in December with my other eye, and the Dr. then had just shot the area with numbing fluid and cut it open while I was wide awake and fully aware. It was incredibly painful, I was crying through the ordeal (and I'm not one to cry easy, that was a LOT of pain), and before they even cut it open I had almost fainted just from the numbing shots to the eyebrow alone. As I sat outside of the OR room meeting all the doctors that were there to assist, I was nervous, cold, confused, and extremely ready. Dr. Hermann came and had a seat in front of me and walked me step by step through the process. He was extremely friendly and kind, and he reassured me everything was going to be okay (probably because at this point I looked like a deer in headlights, if said deer only had one eye). My long term boyfriend was there with me and he explained the procedure to him as well. He asked me if he could update my boyfriend once the procedure was done to which I said of course. I was wheeled into the OR where at first I was pretty terrified but the team was kind and made me feel a lot more at ease. After I woke up from my procedure, my throat was killing me from the breathing tube but I could feel a lot less pressure around my eye and there wasn't nearly as much pain as I had felt from the procedure I had done back in December. I was informed that the procedure only took 20-30 minutes and they watched over and monitored me for roughly 30 more. I managed to muster up a thank you to the team in which they all told me I did a great job and conversed with me for a short bit. I was wheeled back to my room and told Dr. Hermann would check on me again the next day. The next day he came in and asked how I was feeling. He brought a bunch of medical items with him. He informed my boyfriend and I that the gauze packing inside my incision was going to need to be replaced once every day. He removed my packing and showed my boyfriend exactly how to re-pack it (so that's what the medical tools were for!). He gave us all of the left over items to use for at home and told me what to expect and what warning signs to look for. Before he departed he said he'd like to see me back in a week just to make sure it was healing correctly and told me to call him if I had any questions. Dr. Hermann was by far one of the greatest doctors I had the pleasure of meeting.

I have been to this office a few times . I took my daughter to Dr. Hermann after he was recommended by a local ER MD. I have been a few times for consults with Dr. Hermann and to see Lisa Rux, Dr. Hermann's beautiful aesthetician. The office is always clean and cozy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Dr. Hermann is the greatest. He is easy to talk to and answers all your questions. You never feel rushed, and he is completely personal. Lisa Rux is a dream. She is professional and highly experienced. She will not hesitate to tell you what you need as well as what you do not need. Her years of experience are apparent at each visit. I completely trust her and she is not a pusher of products as I have experienced in other offices. I highly recommend this office for the obvious talent of Dr. Hermann and Lisa Rux as well as the variety of services they provide.
