I have wanted a tummy tuck for as long as I can remember. Have always had a 'pooch' since I was an adolescent. After 2 kids, and a divorce, I decided now was the time. I lost 30 lbs and kept the weight off for a year and a half. After extensive research I decided on Dr. Walden. I have never been happier with any decision in my life! The results FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Not only is my tummy flat, but she did lipo on the sides to give an hour glass effect. WOW! I've never felt better or looked better in my life and I'm 42! Her demeanor is extremely professional, and very thorough with the care she provides. At no time in the process was I ever apprehensive or unsure what to expect. Her staff is caring and empathetic, and never made me feel unneasy with my many calls and questions. Highly, highly recommend to anyone considering ANY plastic surgery!!

I recently went to Dr. Walden's office for the first time after a gym pal referred her to me. I had scheduled a pre-consultation for a surgical procedure I have been long considering for some of my trouble areas -- three years after having my last child,, long awaited!! The wait time was minimal, the office ambiance and staff were extremely nice. Dr. Walden is clearly knowledgable and spent a lot of time with me and I've scheduled my procedure for a few months out - which I'm so excited about. I'll try and remember to update this review after, but I expect everything to go seamless. I'm at ease with Dr. Walden more than other Austin area surgeons I've met with.

NOT RECOMMENDED: I had to make an appointment several months ahead due to a lack of availability. About a week before the appointment, I was informed that Walden would not be available. We changed the appointment to earlier in the day when Walden would be available, but my wife was unable to change her work schedule to go with me. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told that Walden had an emergency and I would meet with the nurse (not a nurse practitioner). First, the nurse asked if I were there for a brow lift. It is easy to see that I do not need a brow lift. NB: guys should almost never have a brow lift as it leaves a scar across the head that can be seen when hair recedes. Also, you will have the up-swept eye brows of Sly Stallone, Kenny Rogers and Cruella De Vil. Second, the nurse asked if I were interested in an upper or lower eyelid surgery. Honey, open your eyes, there is no evidence of lower lid lag. Third, Artis Hair Transplant is done by tech's who come in from Dallas. I was interested in fuller eyebrows and there was no mention of the topicals that can have benefit. Based upon the photos of Walden, that are everywhere in the office, to me Walden is looking quite "hard". This is not great advertising as to aesthetics. Buyer Beware!

I had a neck and face lift. I have been very pleased with the results and the nurses and Dr. Walden gave me the best of care possible. Dr, Walden is like and artist in what she does. She did a beautiful job on my neck and I would highly recommend her to anyone who has a sagging face or neck. I have gotten a ton of compliments since I have had my surgery. My friends cannot tell I have had surgery, but they say where have you been, you look so pretty, or you look so rested. I have a very natural look not a pulled back look. Firstly, my implant exchange surgery went great! I love the results! Dr. Walden had to remove my 30 year old implants which had ruptured. She had to spend two hours just cleaning out the debris left from the rupture. She stitched in pockets for the implants, as well as adding abdominal fat in order to make an incredibly natural look and feel. Like I mentioned, I am so happy! Secondly, I was given information before and after and at each followup, so I knew what to expect, what to do and what to look for. If I had additional questions, they were always answered to my satisfaction in person or over the phone. And thirdly, Dr. Walden and her entire staff are friendly, compassionate and helpful!

I don’t normally write reviews, but after seeing all of Dr. Walden’s ads in magazines that she pays for and also that she has a publicist to get her business name going .... I have to help the innocent who willl go to her and spend money hoping to make themselves feel better after maybe a divorce or some long time insecurity.... The truth is- She is a TOTAL HACK. RUN!!!!!!! The worst surgeon. I have horrible scars from my tummy tuck- from the drain holes and from her incision line. She also put in way too large of implants and made me look so imporportional. I had wanted a lift, not implants at 5’3. She won’t care about you, does not do a follow up call the day of surgery at home (like most) and doesn’t have the esthetic eye for good work, nor the surgical skills. Grades yes, but not the surgical skills. Check out why she ran from NYC. Look her up! Please do your homework!!!!!! Talk to past patients. Or just RUN!

This review is for Dr. Walden and most of her staff. If I was giving a review on the rest of her staff and their "med spa" beauty services, I would have easily rated them as a one. I received some med spa services here recently and it was a HUGE waste of my time and money, as well as a lot of frustration due to a couple of her rude and unprofessional med spa staff members. The only reason I did not give Dr. Walden's office five stars is because of miscommunication issues within the office. In hindsight it could have been for several reasons, but the end result was worth it. The day of my consultation Dr. Walden was sick and couldn't meet with me, but I had spent four hours driving, so I met with a nurse anyway. Dr. Walden was kind enough to stop in to say hi and meet with me quickly, but I never had an initial consultation. I had my surgery here in July of last year and this was my first surgery. I was not told that I would need to stay within the city/close to the surgery center overnight. Looking back, it seems like common sense, but at the time I honestly had no idea, nor was told anything that even closely resembled the idea of staying overnight. I had never had surgery before and I didn't live that far away, and I was very nervous and excited and had other things on my mind (being a single-parent in a state with no family and how I'd continue work, school, and taking care of my son while recovering from surgery). The days leading up to my surgery were a bit stressful because of these reasons, but when I arrived for my surgery the stress was added on because I was told that I would need to stay overnight and I had no plans whatsoever to do so. In fact, I had a friend drive me to the doctor's office in my car, and the plan was to drive back after surgery. Regardless, Dr. Walden and her staff apologized for the miscommunication and were very accommodating. One of the nurses allowed me to stay with her overnight. She was very professional and took good care of me. I was very nervous about the surgery as I had been saving for it and researching different surgeons and procedures for the last years. Overall, I am glad that I went with Dr. Walden. I am pleased with my surgery and it is what I wanted. She is a very professional and talented woman. My only concern now is the scaring, it seems pretty bad, but again, this is my first surgery so I'm not sure what is considered normal healing. I use scar creams and bandages, but it's been almost a year and the scars are still very noticeable and textured. I do not like the scaring at all. Also, a few months after the surgery, it looks like my skin teared a bit around the implant. It is not as round as it was before, and it looks like the pocket under the muscle might have been torn. I went to see Dr. Walden and she said she couldn't see what I was talking about, but it's very obvious, especially compared to before photos. I feel like I will have to get them re-done again at some point.

Dr. Walden performed a revision rhinoplasty septoplasty for me three years after having the procedure done initially by an ENT surgeon here in Austin. I was an avid athlete in high school and college and can remember two distinct 'traumas' to my nose while playing basketball. At the time I did not think I had broken my nose, but looking back I certainly had damage to the septum and had knocked it off kilter. In addition, unlike my petite sister, I inherited my father's nose. Bigger, thicker, more masculine, and a slightly bulbous tip. It had always bothered me, and I was camera shy as a result. My first surgery helped some of my breathing symptoms, but aesthetically, was not much of an improvement. What Dr. Walden did was nothing short of amazing. I was so worried about investing in another procedure with the same result. She assured me of an improvement, and she delivered. She gave me a designer nose. Beautiful. I feel so much better and am so glad I found her. Her staff is all female and just first class all the way. Her office is stunning and so cozy. As a PhD student I haver a great deal of respect for Dr. Walden and all that she has accomplished. She has the 'it' factor and knows what women want. Shes an artist!

I’ve had three facial muscles treated every few months for the past three years at a different location. During my first visit at this office, she only felt comfortable treating one out of the three. Although the receptionists were kind and respectful, the doctor was not, appeared rushed and extremely eager for me to leave. I was in the office for 10 minutes. I drove 2 hours for nothing.

I had "BBL treatment" here. The girl that did the treatment didn't really listen my concerns and didn't check my face at all. She just asked me what I wanted and put me on the chair. The treatment was only for 10 min and I was out of that place. Of course I haven't seen any results. I had a BBL treatment a Restora a couple of months ago and the experience was totally different, it was amazing. I went to Dr, Walden because I saw the treatment was less expensive but the service and care are awful. I went back to Restora, it worth every penny.

I just want to say that Dr. Walden is a phenomenal doctor. Very kind, caring and thorough. The office staff is wonderful and sweet! I have had 2 prior surgeries from other doctors and I have to say she is the best one by far and would recommend her to anyone.

My first surgical experience with Dr. Walden occurred when she rearranged her appointment schedule to accept my 7 year old daughter in an emergency situation. My daughter had fallen off of the monkey bars at school and had bitten her lip in half. I knew this would leave a scar that she would have to deal with for the rest of her life, so I thought it was worth calling Dr. Walden. Her office staff were so calming and told me to come straight to the office. Dr. Walden met us there and gave us 100% of her attention and was patient in a high stress situation with a young child who was scared to death. Dr. Walden was professional, courteous, calming and most importantly stitched up my daughter in a manner where you can't even see the cut now. I didn't expect there to be much follow up, but Dr. Walden had us come back two times in first month and we are on schedule for a final checkup. None of which were we billed for. I am forever grateful and highly recommend Dr. Walden!

After having my daughter, I considered for years getting breast implants. I finally decided to go for it and only wish I had done it sooner! Woman to woman I never had to explain what I meant by "proportionate" instead of "as big as you can go", which was my experience with male surgeons I consulted with. My incisions are barely visible, I had very little pain and, even though I looked a little lopsided before the surgery, Dr. Walden made my breasts even and perky like they used to be. If you've ever wondered if your breasts could look good again or better, go see Dr. Walden!

I really like the fact that she is a female, I think she understood my needs better because of this. When she met with me during a consultation she definitely gave off the appearance of her not really wanting to be in the room. Not to mention the cost of the procedure being outrageous. I also had a consultation with Dr. Caridi of Westlake Plastic surgery that same day and was amazed at how many avenues of approach he was willing to take to get me the results I was wanting. He was also a lot more approachable and his patient interaction was much better and was way more reasonable in price. Just my two cents!
