I am now approximately one and a half years out from my neck and lower face lift. I am giving a completely honest, fair, and straightforward review so that others will benefit from my experience. I went to Dr. Rose for a neck and lower face lift. As soon as I walked in the door, Dr. Rose began talking about what he wanted to do to my face and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. He wanted to include an eye lift but I didn't ask for or want an eye lift. I asked him specifically for a neck and lower face lift. Finally after telling him 3 times that I didn't want an eye lift, he agreed not to do the eye lift at my second visit. I even printed out a portion of his website and brought it to him to show him exactly what I wanted. He took a quick look at it and dismissed it as irrelevant. He didn't even recognize that it came from his own website! When I told him that it came from his website, he just laughed it off. Additionally, I specifically made a point to request that the bottom of my earlobes be lifted and/or removed during my neck and lower face lift procedure because it just doesn't make any sense to do a neck and lower face lift if the earlobes are sagging and drooping. The eyes are drawn to the saggy earlobes and It brings the entire look of the face lift downward. This defeats the whole purpose of doing the face lift. I must also caution anyone considering a face and/or neck lift procedure that you will lose a lot of hair on the sides of your head. This is due to the procedure itself. If you hair is already thin on the sides as mine was, you will sorely miss this hair. The female sideburns (which are the pretty part of the hairline when the hair is worn up) will also disappear. This is the part the doctor will "neglect" to tell you about and, if you ask him about it, he will minimize the hair loss. Keep in mind that hair plugs are VERY expensive and will add to the overall cost of the procedure. As far as the results are concerned, I received a neck lift which I would rate as a 4 on a 1 to 5 scale. A bit too much fat was removed just below my chin that now must be filled in with fillers or fat injections to make smooth again. I did not receive the lower face lift as I had requested because Dr. Rose wanted to make more money off me by doing Juvederm injections into my nasolabial folds and marionette lines. I know this because my nasolabial folds and chin area were not numb after the surgery as would have been the case if this had been done. I still had sagging there. I also did not receive the earlobe lift at all after specifically requesting it because the doctpr just forgot to do it. In other words, I received less than half of what I paid for. Now, I have already undergone fat injections and Exilis laser treatments to try to fill in my nasolabial folds and marionette lines although I paid the doctor to lift that area! The fat injections and Exilis laser have not helped much. It looks like my only options are either fillers or another major surgery to do what the doctor was paid to do in the first place. To be honest, my entire experience with Dr. Rose was nothing more than a money grab. My very strong advice to anyone who is considering a procedure with this doctor is to please IGNORE the Hollywood hype. There are better plastic surgeons available who will do what YOU want done and who will LISTEN to you. Dr. Rose is NOT one of them. Postscript: Dr. Rose saw me again after he read the above review and did injections into my nasolabial folds and marionette lines. However, I was not able to tell any difference whatsoever. He said he used Restylne but I suspect he only injected me with normal saline solution to appease me. Nevertheless, there was no improvement, so my review still stands. Dr. Rose disappointed me a second time! I do NOT recommend Dr. Rose.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Rose and his staff. I had done a lot of research and visited several local surgeons. A friend recommended Dr. Rose (he did her breast augmentation and they are the prettiest things I’ve ever seen, perfect size for her body and so natural looking), and he ended up being top of my list. He had amazing bedside manner and made me feel comfortable immediately at my first appointment. Once I got surgery scheduled, I had an issue with my bloodwork. Dr. Rose picked up his cell phone and got me into to two incredible doctors immediately. We did have to delay my schedule two weeks to get rid of a sinus infection, but I appreciated the over and above care caution with my health. Love the girls on staff - Stacy, Holly, and Brooke were all so reassuring and supportive and answered all my questions. Surgery weren’t great and I went home the next day. Follow-up appointments have all gone well and I’m healing way faster than I anticipated and am over the moon about my results. I had a mommy makeover with breast reduction and lift, tummy tuck, and lipo. I’m in a Facebook support group with women all over the country getting similar procedures and feel like I’m healing and my results are ahead of the curve by far. Would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Rose nor would I ever use anyone but him the in the future. He is super professional, an artist, cares deeply about people, and goes above and beyond. Simply the best.

In mid January, 2019 an attempt was made on my life breaking nearly every bone in my face. My cranial or orbital bone, eye sockets, left temple, nose, cheek bones, both sides of my jaw, my palette were all broken. Quite literally smashed in. My teeth were shattered and broken, some caved in and the front teeth knocked out taking bone and gum with it leaving me completely unrecognizable and disfigured. One of the most difficult aftermaths of this was my total inability to face myself in the mirror. The devastation was too great for me to face and I did not know how I would cope with this "new identity". As an entertainer, a ballroom and latin dance teacher and performer, I believed that part of my life was over. My venture into an acting career disappeared and I began to contemplate the worse for myself. That is when Doctor Rose stepped in. I grew up in houston and had never considered plastic surgery, in fact, I was scared of it. I lost so much of myself and Doctor Rose recognized my loss of self and took me into his care to completely reconstruct the parts of my face and body that were damaged; scarred, disfigured, and asymmetrical. For the past 7 months this man, Doctor Franklin Rose had stood by my side and made me feel like I would not only be beautiful again, but I would eventually be able to face my world of entertainment again with a chance I never dreamed I would have again. After numerous visits with him, discussing before and after photographs of me pre and post assault, I feel one hundred percent at ease. Luckily, I had the great fortune of meeting some of his personal clients who he has helped in within his practice and the results are all stunning, to the point where I gave him my complete trust to transform me with his artistic eye and years of experience guiding him in my reconstructive surgery. This man is a philanthropist with a heart of gold. He has made me feel as cared for as any of his other patients, and he is a successful visionary making women look and thus feel their best. There are not enough words of gratitute that can express what this man has already done for me, even before surgery. Today we finished my pre-op consultation. I brought him pictures of surgeries that I had no idea were ill jobs by other doctors and told me with complete confidence and surety that when his work and my post op results would be done with so much more artistry and knowledge than the poor photographs I've seen. Admittedly I had been so consumed that I failed to look at his website until this evening. I know that I am in the best hands with the best of intentions. Typing all of this was quick, heartfelt, and quite emotional, as I know my life is about to change, so please forgive any brevity and typos. I am looking forward to sharing my results with you all. Thank you, Doctor Rose, for giving me my life back.

I purchased a package of chemical peels in March 2014 and completely forgot about them unil August 2014; when I reached out to the salon and spoke to the person who sold them to me, she was rude and very unaccommodating. I hesitantly attempted to make an appointment with this person as it was apparent I was not going to get a refund or be able to use my $500 package towards something else. I was transferred to someone else to make the appointment, when I asked to speak with the Office Manager, the young lady she transferred me to hung up with out getting my number! I called back immediately and would you believe it, the office manager answered the phone! Go figure. I explained my experience to her and she quickly apologized and was eager to accommodate my request to use my $500 towards a different service, something the original associate told me I couldn't do. I don't normally write a public review that reflects negatively on a business, however, I am completely disappointed in the "up-scale" Uptown Utopia! If it weren't for the outcome with the Office Manager, you can bet I would do whatever it takes to get my money back and never use this salon again!
