The surgery itself is a breeze since you’ll be put to sleep and won’t remember a thing. All I remember is being given a Xanax, the anesthesiologist and nurse talking to me a bit and then it’s lights out. I’m glad the doctor kept me there because the pain while recovering is no joke, and this way they could administer pain meds via IV and it was nice to be taken care of by the nurse for that first night. I had rhinoplasty done and can’t wait to see the final results but three days later and so far so good. The last thing that left me very irritated/mad was that while my family waited they could’ve filled the prescriptions for me the day before. Instead upon discharge (and very badly swollen/irritated and in pain) we were given the scripts to go get everything filled. And the girls there are horrible at giving directions so it was trial and error finding the 24hr pharmacy since it was 7am when I left and most places don’t open until 9am in Matamoros.
