She couldn’t even give me a legitimate explanation. My time is very valuable to me... had I known this was going to happen I would have never taken this job in the first place... I had rhinoplasty in December 2016. Dr. Athré was phenominal from the time I met him, through all the phone calls and post-op visits, I was able to reach him directly. The recovery felt a bit slow, but completely worth it. The most challenging part of rhinoplasty for me, was only breathing from your mouth for several weeks. Thankfully it was temporary and part of the process. The office staff is friendly and very professional, which makes it easy communicating with them. I am considering getting lip fillers, and whole heartedly trust Dr. Athré and his expertise in taking care of me.

I had been doing a lot of research on doctors in the Houston area that do Rhinoplasty's. One doctor that stood out to me was Dr. Athre. I had read many amazing reviews about him, so I decided to call his office. It only took me about 5 minutes to schedule a consultation for the following week. The day of my consultation, I had to wait for about 5 minutes in the waiting room. I went in and he spoke to me about what a rhinoplasy is and asked me a bunch of questions to get to know me. Dr. Athre definitely says what he thinks and doesn't exaggerate. I had my surgery about 2 days after my consultation, which is pretty awesome! I went in and went out just like that! I had a painless recovery and when he took the bandages off, I fell in love with my new nose! Dr. Athre is THE DOCTOR to go to if you are looking for a Rhinoplasty!

I visited several CS before deciding to allow Dr. A. to update my look with a lower FL and BL. He put me at ease, spoke to me with language I understood and was cautious and honest about the surgery and recovery. Totally transparent. A year later, I'm enjoying the benefits of his work and have followed up with a skincare regime as well as micro needling to improve the overall appearance of my skin tone. My lower FL was not dramatic, very few people will walk up and comment on the difference, it's more like a noticeable, but undefinable difference. Just what I wanted. Note to all, it will never be perfect or like it was when you were in your 20,'s. I trust in him and value his honest opinion and feedback.

I wish I never got my rhinoplasty from Dr Athre. HE IS FULL of empty promises. He had hounded me to leave him a great review and that he relied on this positive feedback. I had JUST had my bandages taken off when he started in on this. Of course - he wants you to leave a great review before you start seeing the true results of what he did to your face! Let me tell you once he gets your money and does his half assed rhinoplasty and you have a problem? He will avoid you - you are on your own. He will not return phone calls, emails, his staff will ignore you - everything you can imagine. Pictures speak for themselves. One side of my tip of nose is higher than the other. I have a pointy knot at the very tip, it is so uneven I am ashamed to even be seen in public. My left nostril is deformed (just look at the pictures). I also have a pollybeak deformity because of him. My nostrils are uneven and I have scar tissue poking out inside my nostrils. It even hard to breathe. The tip of my nose is incredibly droopy. I should have avoided this man like the plague but I put my trust into him, and this is what I get. Dr. Athre will DO NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. REMEMBER THAT. FIND A SKILLED PLASTIC SURGEON WHO KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!! Pictures speak for themselves - contact me if you want to see what he did to my face!

Dr. Athre did a great job on my Botox. I've had some awful Botox experiences with some doctors pushing too many units on me and telling me I needed more. I've also had eyelid sagging from other docs. Dr. Athre did my Botox and it was awesome. This is my second time going to him! He's the best! He has a wonderful personality. He's honest with you and makes you laugh. Super cool guy!!! Rhinoplasty with this Dr. was the worse decision I've ever done. Its been 3+ years after my procedure and I'm miserable. It's going to cost me $15,000 to fix it and that's money I don't have. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Horrible experience. Edit: Their answer to this review was to re-contact them so that they could see what could be done. I did that, just a bunch of hypocrites. After they saw my pictures, I guess they realized how messed up my nose looks that they don't even want to see me in person. Piece of garbage Dr. doesn't even admit to his errors and mediocre practice. Please go somewhere else if you don't want to end up as miserable as me.

Dr. Athré is absolutely the best facial plastic surgeon you will find anywhere. The whole experience was pleasant. I had a lot of work done at the same time - eyelids, nose, chin implant, face lift and neck lift. It sounds like a lot to do at once, but I was back at work in 10 days. Dr. Athré leaves you with minimum swelling and bruising. He is a true artist but also very technical in his work. He is also the most cheerful person you will ever meet. You will feel very comfortable and not be afraid of your surgery. If you want the most skilled surgeon, as well as one who is approachable and easy to talk to, Dr. Athré is your man. His rates were very reasonable. I had a lot of work done, but if you just want your nose done or eyelids or face lift, there is no reason to put it off. It's affordable and easy. If I had just had my nose done, I probably would have been back to work in less than a week. It really was not painful. I am 57, but I look 20 years younger because of the face and neck lift, and having my eyelids done. You can't imagine how good it feels to look as young as you feel. I have been considering on getting lip injections for a few years now but I was always scared to get them because I've heard they hurt. I already have semi full lips but I wanted just a little bit more on my top lip. I am glad to say that my experience with Dr. Athre was amazing!! I have a very very low pain tolerance and he made it very comfortable for me. He is one of the very few doctors that does a dental numbing block, now of course like when you go to the dentist the numbing process is a pain. Would not recommend for Botox. I purchased 40 units on Groupon and it normally only takes 25-30 units on me, but Groupon was sold in 20 unit increments, so I figured what the heck. I still had complete movement on my 11’s or glabella because the doctor injected in the complete wrong place and 20 units went to waste as far as my glabella!! I normally only need 10 units here but 20 units were put in the wrong place and did absolutely nothing. The forehead was a little more successful as far as movement being paralyzed, however my eyebrows were raised at completely uneven points. I would have gone back if I felt like he knew how to fix it. I have been getting Botox for years and this botched job was far from just needing a touch up. This was more like the doctor needs to go back to Botox school. I really hate bashing people in reviews but seriously you’re better off paying a little more money per unit rather than having units be injected in the wrong places.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Athre in 08/15. When I first met him, he was personable and informative. His patient coordinator, Sandy, was a little pushy but I brushed it off and scheduled my surgery with him anyway. The surgery was a breeze but when the cast came off, I literally passed out (and almost threw up on myself). I liked my new profile, but the tip of my nose looked SO unnatural, but I knew I had to be patient to see results. I am now 8 months post-op and have a severe inverted-v deformity (Google it). I've had FOURTEEN plastic surgeons confirm that I do indeed have an inverted-v deformity, but when I confronted Dr. Athre with this information, he flat out scoffed at me and denied that anything was wrong with my recovery. I have finally accepted that I have to get a revision but I'm still bitter at the fact that Dr. Athre won't man up and admit to his careless mistakes. Lesson learned, I guess. If anyone is reading this and considering a rhinoplasty procedure (or any procedure for that matter) with this doctor, I URGE you to RUN as fast and far away as you can from this guy. He will take all your money and leave you wallowing in a pool of bitter regret.
