In May of this year I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. My breast surgeon highly recommended Dr. Robbins for my reconstruction surgeries, assuring me that Dr. Robbins and his staff were the best. I totally agree, they are the best. From my first visit to Robbins Plastic Surgery, Dr. Robbins and his staff won me over. I was met with smiles, kindness and understanding. They somehow managed to calm my fears about what the next few months would be like and made me feel like I would be receiving the same quality of care they would want or expect one of their own family members to receive . Dr. Robbins was always honest with me about what to expect from the surgeries and the healing process. I could not be more pleased with my reconstruction results. He and his staff were always kind and professional, all while providing the emotional support (either comforting words or laughter) that I needed. Dr. Robbins and his staff always spent as much time with me as I needed, without ever making me feel rushed out of the office. Every week I had a notebook with me filled with all of my questions, and they patiently answered every one of them. Though I am very sure they will now cringe whenever they see a yellow notebook. For me, my weekly visits to Robbins Plastic Surgery were more like a weekly visit with friends. But it was also more than that; it became a normal part of my life when the normal I knew was taken when I was diagnosed. For me to say that I highly recommend Robbins Plastic Surgery would be an understatement. In my opinion their knowledge, skills and bedside manner cannot be beat. As I stated earlier they are the best and I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Robbins and his staff for giving back to me what cancer had taken.

Had to have breast reconstruction related to cancer. Not only did Dr. Robbins give me a breast back, he made the "good" breast symmetrical with the reconstructed one. Not an easy task when the patient (me) is in her 60's! For me, this was a spiritual journey as I needed my surgeon to also have a faith in God. I'll never forget Dr. Robbins' words as he went into the operating room just prior to my surgery. I said "Go with God". His reply was "I wouldn't step in there if I didn't know He is with me." His staff is also totally professional and compassionate with a situation that can be frightening to a patient. Your choice of a surgeon is a most important component - if I had to go through this again, Dr. Robbins would still be my choice.

I was referred to Dr. Robbins office because of a diagnosis of Breast Cancer at the age of 45. I had no time to look for other doctors or listen to people when they said "you should see..." and am I glad I ended up here! If I had to do it over again I would choose Dr. Robbins. At a very scary time, he and his staff walked me through every step of the double mastectomy and reconstruction. They were always available and when we had questions, we got a call back that same day, usually within the hour. Jean & Ashley are very caring, very responsive nurses. Amy in the front is so welcoming. Dr.Robbins is extremely professional and his work, let's just say I am way better off than before my diagnosis! Got liposuction on my stomach and clothes fit so much more comfortably without the fat bubble protruding out. Looks amazing and no more dealing with pain due to a pooched out stomach being squashed by clothes. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! I was referred to Dr Robbins through a friend. I had my surgery August 20th 2018. I am 25 years old and 5’1 and 115# I had a small A cup prior to surgery and have had 1 child. I breast fed my daughter for 14 months. I was just so un happy with not only the size of my breasts but how much they deflated after breast feeding my daughter for so long. I am an avid gym goer and my bottom half is not lacking in size. I just always felt so unproportional. I made a consultation with Dr Robbins and his team based off of a high recommendation from a friend. I had the opportunity to meet Dr Robbins the day of my friends surgery and he was just so genuine and nice. From the moment I walked into the office I knew it was where I was suppose to be. The gals at the front desk are so nice and welcoming. The office is inviting and very clean. The nurses were phenomenal. Amy and Dr Robbins is who I had the pleasure of working with most, they were both so up front and honest and helped so much when it came to deciding on a size. They never pushed me to go bigger than I wanted, I have a petite frame and very short torso so I worried about looking too large. They are so knowledgeable and tell you exactly what you can expect all along the way. I am now fully healed and my breasts have completely settled and I sit at a D cup and have never been happier. I just feel that confidence that lacked before and if I want to rock a bikini I can do it now. I have never felt better about myself! Dr Robbins is the way to go if you’re considering a breast augmentation in the Nashville area, he is the best surgeon in the area by far! His attention to detail and keen eye is what puts him above the rest! Katie was also great too when it came to scheduling, working around my work schedule, and taking care of the finances! Staff lied about accepting insurance when scheduling the appointment months out. Drove hours on the day of the appointment and mentioned that I'm using insurance to Dr. Robbins, who instead of ending things there, continued to intimately examine my body despite knowing there was no reason to. Dr. Robbins and one of his staff members, Katie, are incredibly rude people with no care for how they treat others. Dr. Robbins is an in network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield yet refuses to accept the insurance despite being contractually obligated to do so and advertising such on his website.

I am so sorry to be giving Robins Plastic Surgery a two star review. I really liked Dr. Robins, he did a fantastic job for a cyst removal on my face, just below my eye. My issue is with the stitches removal that a nurse on his team performed, my surgery was on June 6th followed by stitches removal on June 14th. There was some discoloration in the area but I was told that was both possible and normal, but we had to head out of town for my husband's clinical. I began to notice a dark area on the area where my stitches had been then I woke up one morning to find that the stitches had not been entirely removed. ... because they had pushed their way up through my skin from not having been removed properly. I am of course out of town (9 hours away) and popping in to get the situation resolved was not possible So I removed it myself. I realize that if it have been a full knee replacement or something of that ilk it wouldn't have been a big deal, BUT this was a very small area on my face... you can see in the pictures that proportionally this was a rather larger oversight for such a small area. Again, Dr. Robins was great, the job that he did was wonderful and he was informative and yes, as other reviews say the staff was friendly. I was disappointed in what seemed like a careless oversight.

There are too many good things to say about Dr. Robbins and his staff. First, when I had my consultation, he took almost two hours to talk to me about everything I wanted done. I have been a patient of Dr. Robbins for a few years now. I have had four surgeries with him , and the last I just had done on 5/28/14 I came to know him after my gastric bypass I have lost over 150 pounds, and had issues with extra skin that was causing other health issues. I first had my tummy tuck , then my bilateral thigh lift, and just had my breast reduction and bilateral arm lift. I feel like a new woman, and I am comfortable with who I am and what I see with my body. I am a few weeks out and have feeling in my breasts, and my arms are healing wonderful. Let me preface this review by saying I have had six open abdominal surgeries and two lap abdominal surgeries (not plastic) so I am well versed in surgeons and their staff. Robbins Plastic Surgery was in a whole different league than any other surgeon I went to. Your first impression is the staff, and I can honestly say that after six months, I have never seen his staff have a "bad day." They are caring, kind and diligent when it comes to patient care. One nurse gave me her personal cell phone during recovery, because I was having issues. Doctor Robbins is as wonderful as his staff. I had multiple big procedures, tummy tuck, arm lift, and breast life with augmentation all together. I was told that a surgeon would be rushed with those procedures, and would do a less than stellar job. Not so with Dr. Robbins. I even emailed him this concern, and he was gracious enough to email me back and allay any concerns I had. My results are better than my wildest dreams. I have a better tummy, breasts, and arms than I did as a 16 year skinny thing. Dr. Robbins is also a perfectionist, often doing work on you well after the surgery. I had healing issues, and the office would not let me leave their care with anything less than perfection. My only regret is that I love the office so much, I will miss my visits there. If you are considering a plastic surgeon, this is the place you want to be.

Living From Cancer

Probably unlike many women today, I was very content with my God-given breasts, even with their imperfections. So when a breast cancer diagnosis launched a decision for a double mastectomy, I was a bit sad to say "goodbye" to a part of my body that I was very comfortable with. Upon meeting Dr. Robbins, I declined any opportunity to change my size or appearance and requested that I look as close to my natural self as surgically possible. Aside from being a bit more lifted and perky, he was confident that my request could be met. He asked that I trust his expertise in size and shape, to choose what will be best to meet my goal. And in fact, my goal was met. I'm getting used to a slightly different shape, but am very happy with the fact that in clothing, I look exactly as I did before cancer! The entire process is painful - physically, mentally, emotionally. Dr Robbins and his team were considerate and discrete, and handled me with great care and sensitivity, eliminating much of the pain that could have been during the lengthy process, and creating an experience that could be considered enjoyable (barring the cancer side of things). With my diagnosis comes an endless number of questions, concerns, anticipation and hesitation. Unlike other elective procedures, time is of the essence and decisions must be made quickly. The team offered answers that were easy to understand, and made themselves available whenever needed. Today, I am only 8 weeks out from my reconstruction surgery. To everyone's surprise, I have incredible feeling and sensitivity that has returned to my breasts, and they have settled nicely. I have been able to return to my full exercise routines and have about 95% range of motion with minimal discomfort. There is still a road ahead to full healing, but Dr Robbins and his team have provided to me an excellent launching platform.

I had very gauged earlobes that would never go back to normal so I went here and got an earlobe reconstruction. Everyone on the staff was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. My earlobes look normal now and I am very grateful. They will also pierce you earlobes after they are healed if that is something you want to do. I highly suggest this practice for earlobe reconstruction.
