I don't typically write reviews but Dr. Marvel is so exceptionally talented and his staff is so supportive and caring that I have to share the experience. I consulted with Dr. Marvel as well as 2 other plastic surgeons to explore options for improving my appearance. Had I met with Dr. Marvel first there would have been no need for the other 2 consultations! He knew exactly how to get the results I wanted with a natural look at a reasonable cost. He has a surgical unit & staff within his office and using IV sedation I had a facelift, CO2 laser resurfacing and fat injections under my eyes and in my cheeks. It was uncomfortable for a couple of days but virtually painless! I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the result as well as the care I received from him and his staff. Once you meet with Dr. Marvel and his staff you will know as I did that you have found your plastic surgeon.

His consultation set him apart from the other surgeons I went to consultations with, as he actually took measurements & was realistic with what size he believed would look best on me. Before the surgery was seamless, & the blonde surgical tech we very sweet & the anesthesiologist was funny & kept me calm until I was being wheeled into the OR. I am about 3 1/2 months post op & would do it again tomorrow if I had to!

The facility was well organized. The staff seemed very nice. The nurse I got was helpful. A common condition/deformity I have that has been recognized by many other doctors I have seen over the years & is known in layman terms even this surgeon had never heard of nor had his nurse yet another lady in the lobby with me had the same thing... Dr. Marvel came in still wearing surgical scrubs, a surgical cap still on his head, acting antsy like he was in a hurry. He did not ask me what I wanted out of my surgery. I expressed I wanted a lift he said that implants that were tear drop shaped would lift me enough. I completely disagreed. He had his nurse show me pictures of surgeries he had done with these implants without a lift. The pictures were terribly nonimpressive & I felt sorry for the patients. He said, "I try to avoid a lift unless absolutely necessary." He never sat down to talk to me he was in too big of a hurry & never listened or even asked me a question. I got 2 other opinions in Nashville both which told me I definitely needed a lift & not to go to the surgeon that told me I did not need a lift that was ludicrous (I did not tell them his name). I went to another consultation where the surgeon sat down, talked to me, listened, then as soon as I removed my robe he said immediately, "Yes, a lift is definitely needed. You'll be happy with the result." I got my surgery done last month with the lift. I am so happy & so thankful I did not go to Dr. Marvel. The implant Dr. Marvel suggested was the most expensive I even requested it at my other consultations they both told me it was not the right one for me then explained why. I would have gone through surgery & still not been happy. I left Dr. Marvel's office very discouraged & felt like I had wasted a 3 hour drive & consultation fee. I do not write bad reviews but I do hope this saves someone from ruining their dream listening to Dr. Marvel try to take the easy route in surgery for himself. I am so happy with my results from Dr. Wendel & glad I did not give up.

At 55, the hoods on my eyelids were getting close to affecting my eyesight, especially when I was tired, plus I just wasn't ready to look as old as that person in the mirror. Lol. So I took the plunge and scheduled a consultation at the Tullahoma office right after Thanksgiving. Dr. Marvel was matter of fact and confident of his success in meeting my needs. Melinda showed me before and after pictures which confirmed his opinion of the procedure. She also went over the entire procedure which seemed relatively easy to deal with in my world. After careful consideration, I booked the procedure in February. The surgery was quick and easy. I opted out of the pain medication just did the local, no problem there at all. I actually drove home. Recovery took about two weeks, I work in TV so I just wore sunglasses the first week and shared my experience with the viewers. It is now six weeks later, my eyes look absolutely fabulous and get compliments from my close friends who remember the before and after. Honestly, I don't know why I waited that long to get them done. Fear of the unknown I guess. Anyway, I give 5 stars to the whole experience, I loved the excellent customer service from Melinda, and Dr. Marvel was a complete professional. I chose him because of his name, I will continue to go to him because of the awesome results. I have always intended to age gracefully, but a little help with God's process certainly can't hurt either. Thank you!

The staff was pretty nice and the office is clean, however once I met the doctor he seemed like he didn't really care about me. I felt as if I was just a consultation and not a potential client, and when I tried to show him pics that I liked of certain breast augmentations he proceeded to cut me off and dismiss what I was trying to tell him, and his exact words were "that's not realistic..." to almost every pic of showed him. I know my results weren't going to be exactly like the pics I showed because I know that everyone's body is different. But he still didn't need to be so rude. With that being said most of my appointment was spent with the nurse that was helping and he seen me for a good 20 mins. If you're looking for a place to go I wouldn't recommend this place just by the simple fact that I was treated like I was just another check and like I wasn't going to be given 100% of their time/skill.

The overall staff customer service was great (March 2014)...i went in getting a laser lipo procedure done...which i got 4 areas suctioned(so you can imagine what i paid)....and during the intake i asked about getting a Brazilian butt lift and they told me i didnt have enough fatt....so during the healing process i keep telling them i dnt notice any change except no more lower muffin top but upper muffin top and all they say is keep wearing your binder and you will continue to flatten and see finally results within a yr....so a year goes by and still wearing undergarments to keep stomach flat...i also still have hard areas in my stomach...i emailed the clinic and the staff have yet to contact me....i have friends going to Miami paying $300 dollars more than me and getting Brazilian butt lifts and whats crazy i have more fatt areas than a few and a few are bigger than me and didnt need a tummy tuck for the little loose skin and they coming out with hour glass shapes and its a shame for me to have to spend more money to get the same procedure redone the right way...oh and i still weigh the same so thats no factor and i just got tired of hearing the same sstory everytime i had a visit....and whats crazy during the time i was wearing the binder my stomach started stretching the binder out so i kept reordering them and finally she's like no you dont need to wear it....i was wearing it for almost a year...and now i am trying to waist train because i refuse to pay another 3800 for any procedure and be fooled on what i will look like...so my advice is do your research in depth before doing an invasive procedure because its no fun going twice...and i have pictures if needed...so this is why i give them 1 star for customer service because they sure know how to not get you right...

No visible difference at all after procedure. I took some before and after pictures and I literally look exactly the same. They recomended an alternative to Botox for "crow's feet" however the product may not have worked or maybe they should have injected more ??? I had plans on having other non surgical treatments at this location, but after this I decided not to do it. Extremely friendly staff tho. I'm just disappointed that they didn't deliver what they promised me .

I had liposuction ok my stomach and flanks done by dr marvel. After surgery I noticed I had a hugeeee burn on my stomach(rib area) that left a hole and you could see the fat it was that deep. No lie!. He acted like it was nothing. I should have did better research before paying him 5,000 for a surgery that left me with a huge burn and a lopsided stomach with dents. I do not reccomend this place to anyone. Pay the big bucks to someone else and do extensive research
