I had been having dizzy spells, nosebleeds and headaches with chronic sinus infections. I was referred to an ENT who said I was suffering from migraines and referred me to a Neurologist who agreed I was suffering from migraines. I did not believe migraines were causing all my symptoms or that I was even suffering from migraines. After a CT Scan, MRI, lots of blood tests and medications I decided to get a 2nd opinion. Dr Goco was great. He told me I had a severely deviated septum. He fixed my deviated septum and did a balloon surgery on my sinuses with some tissue removal. It's been almost 3 months since my surgery and I have not had any more dizzy spells or nosebleeds. He actually listened to me and found the problem. Dr Goco is amazing.

I had multiple sinus infections and I went and saw Dr. Goco. He did an amazing job. I have healed up perfectly. My recovery was only about a week. My surgery took less time then he expected. He explained everything he was going to do during surgery. I can now breathe through my nose. I don't know the last time that was true. About a 2 weeks after surgery I saw a huge improvement. I could hear better, breathe better, and I snored less. I highly recommend Dr. Goco.

Some doctors get upset when children are in the room, but Dr. Goco played with our children and made them laugh. One of the truly best doctors I have been treated by. For the past year, I've been on antibiotics, steroids, and prescription cough medicine every 6 weeks for sinus infections. Finally, I went to Dr. Goco for the sinus infections and constant post nasal drip. A CT Scan showed severe inflamed and tight nasal passages, which Dr. Goco suggested the sinus surgery. He performed: Turbinate Cautery, Turbinate Outfracture, Complete Ethmoid, Maxillary Antrostomy, Frontal Hybrid, Sphenoid Hybrid and Fusion. Although the procedure was intense, Dr. Goco made me feel at ease. The healing process was not as bad as I had expected. I had the surgery in April, it is now June and I feel 100% healed! My headaches and migraines are gone, I sleep better at night, my energy level has increased, the post nasal drip and clearing of my throat is GONE! I would suggest this procedure to anyone who suffers from multiple sinus infections throughout the year. Thank you Dr. Goco healing me!

Dr. Goco and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I've seen him multiple times and he is always a pleasure. This most recent time I was about as nervous as I've ever been, thinking something might be seriously wrong with me. His staff were so comforting and patient, and he was amazing. I knew I was going to have to have a camera stuck down my throat, but Dr. Goco talked with me, listened to all my issues, and did a great job for the procedure. Fortunately everything was fine, and he explained what was bothering me. It made perfect sense. Dr. Goco is a wonderful doctor and human being.

Before I had the sinus surgery I was told I just had to deal with it and take allergy medications. My activity level was very limited and to the point I was on breathing treatments... I have a new lease on life since the surgery I have not had to take any allergy medications and I have not had any sinus infections it has been 5 months!!! Living in Middle TN my entire life, I've always had issues with allergies and chronic sinus infections, facial pain, and constant drainage. Dr. Goco did a CT and determined that my sinus passages were smaller than normal, so they didn't drain effectively, so any inflammation would cause the swelling and the drainage would just sit and fester and cause chronic congestion and/or infection. He recommended an in-office balloon sinuplasty, and I didn't have to think twice about it. SO GLAD I did it. Used to I would sneeze and then be congested for the rest of the day, but NO MORE. I still have allergies, but they do not slow me down and cause me the discomfort that they did for 32 years prior to this. Get this done, you can't go wrong. You'll wish you did it sooner, seriously. And, Dr. Goco, as well as his staff, is very friendly and won't recommend something he doesn't feel will benefit you. Thank you, Dr. Goco!

After suffering with chronic sinus problems for many years I finally had surgery in 2015. This surgery was very painful and my recovery took months with several more rounds of infection and continued pressure with severe headaches. The Doctor who performed that surgery told me I expected too much. I am very thankful for Dr Goco. He worked on me less than a month ago and my quality of life has improved more than I could imagine. There was very little recovery time and minimal pain.. The only regret I have is that I did not find Dr Goco first. Allen Phelps

There wasn’t an option for 10 stars or Dr Goco would have received it! Not just the best ent doctor I’ve seen; he’s the best dr I’ve ever had period. He listens, discusses concerns, takes time to answer questions, explains everything in detail, and always has a smile. He and his staff made my nerve-racking experience of sinus surgery almost painless. I knew exactly what to expect during and after surgery, and recovery was relatively easy. Wish I would have had this surgery years ago. If you want to breathe free, go see Dr G!!!

I have suffered from severe sinus headaches for as long as I can remember. I had been to several doctors and allergy specialists with no success. But, it wasn't until a friend referred me to Dr Goco that my life changed for the better. He recommended sinus surgery and I was reluctant at first to go through with it. I made a the decision to have the surgery and am so glad that I did. It has been 8 months since the surgery and I now have at least 90% fewer headaches. I highly recommend Dr Goco. He is amazing!!!

I had chronic sinus issues and multiple headaches each week. I have allergies and when pollen and dust irritated my allergies I suffered for days with congestion and headaches. I had sinus surgery done by Dr. Goco and things are much better now. I can breathe through my nose again and rarely have a sinus headache now. My allergy symptoms don't dwell for days after exposure and respond much better to my allergy medicine now. My sinuses can finally drain the way they should. Quality of life is way better. I highly recommend Dr Goco and his group...they are all very friendly and really care about you.

Rhinoplasty. Septoplasty. Turbinate Reduction. I've had a deviated septum since I was a child as a result of a broken nose which was also crooked and with a bump from the softball that cracked it. I went in for a medical and cosmetic surgery to prepare both. He straighten the nose but seems did not do anything about the deviated septum. Furthermore the shaving down of my nose to remove the bump is the worst. The large hump is removed but it's not smooth and bumpy. Each follow was only 15 minutes and I waited about 25-45 minutes and copay. I complained each time I couldn't breathe on one side and he said he had to wait to go back in. When it was time he said he would cut the ending more and it's something he could do in house. Not being impressed thus far, I declined. I didn't show to my last appointment and they haven't called to check in or anything. I would not recommend them for any surgery. Paid for service I never received. I went to another ENT and he informed me the septum is very bowed (worse then my original issue), and the technique used was older (he cut off my turbinate). Going back for the same procedure again.

I came to Middle Tennessee Ear Nose and Throat by referral. I have seen many doctors over the years in search of relief from my constant sinus infections and post nasal drip. It didn't help that I have an immune deficiency either. Every doctor told me that I had no allergies and that surgery wouldn't help. Antibiotics became all too commonplace. Finally I ended up in front of Dr. Paul E. Goco. His team listened and understood my ever growing frustration and it was decided i was a good candidate for surgery. I was scheduled rather quickly and I was home the same day of surgery. Recovery wasnt fun but I had been warned ahead of time. However, I followed all instructions to the letter and am thrilled to say that life as I knew it has changed. I have been able to get through the rest of winter, spring and summer without my usual bouts of week long illnesses. I have even been able to fly without repercussions. I am able to breathe and have begun swimming. Life is finally as it should be. Thank you Dr Goco and the entire staff at the clinic. I have my life back!
