I have been coming here for over 2 years now I had some tattoos removed from my face and now I'm doing my hands and my neck. dr. jj wendel is the best place all the staff there are very friendly and helpful the place is very clean and nice looking. My laser techinician name is taylor and shes very nice and really good at what she does I would not go to another place or let another person do my tattoo removal after finding this place.

Dr. Wendel and his staff are truly amazing! He removed my tattoo in just two treatments and I couldn't be more pleased with my results. I was so impressed by this experience, that I then scheduled a scar revision for an old childhood scar on my forehead. The procedure took less than ten minutes in his office and looks amazing. Dr. Wendel is so kind and compassionate about making YOU feel better about yourself, I just can't say enough about him and his staff. The office environment is pristine and makes you feel like you have just walked into a luxury spa. His office staff are extremely polite, kind and professional. Dr. Wendel's extensive experience in plastics and cosmetic procedures is well known in Nashville, so if you are looking for a plastic surgeon (no matter how big or small the procedure is), there is no other surgeon I would go to!

I had implants after a double mastectomy that ruptured and silicone migrated to my lymph nodes. No PS in Memphis TN would even see me once they knew that my implants (that all told me could not rupture), had indeed ruptured...and both were completely ruptured! I went to Dr Wendel who didn't hesitate to get my ruptured implants out. AND, the best part is...although I didn't even know to ask to have ALL the capsule taken out, he did it anyway. Most PS will not admit that some patients can become very ill from silicone and they refuse to take out capsule as they don't see it as necessary. I feel truly blessed that I ended up in Dr Wendel's office and not another PS who would not have properly removed my implants.

Paige went though every step of the procedure with me. I even brought a friend and she felt comfortable as well! I love my results, they are subtle but I notice the difference. So I had given a deposit over the phone that was suppose to go into the treatment I was getting. The day I arrived, wait was long.. I wanted to get filler put in but was denied it. The Drs response? I needed a nose job and he wouldn't do the treatment I came in for. I've had non surgical rhinoplasty before, I know it's not a permanent fix but I wasn't ready for surgery. Very disappointed because I did discuss over the phone whether they did this treatment or not, was made to believe that they did. Disappointed that I wasted time and money. No I didn't get my deposit back. They said I'd get it back when I scheduled my nose job! Felt the Dr and his staff was rude and looked down on me. I'm from the west coast and this dr needs to look to the patients needs and not go big for money and push for surgery. I went elsewhere once denied and had this treatment done the following week. So happy there was another Dr who didn't turn me away or push me into getting under the knife.

Penny on the other hand is SOOOO SWEET, I don't know how someone can be so sweet EVERYday, not sure she has a mean bone in her body. From appointment 1 and until now, she has always went ABOVE and BEYOND by checking on me after my appointments, putting special bandage on my arm to make it more comfortable for me, to remembering our conversations from before to continue when I come back next. I'm not sure how to start this, or where to find the words to describe this extraordinary physician and his staff. My journey with Dr. Wendel brought me joy from the very first time I met him. From his accepting words and smile, to his unimaginable abilities in surgery, this man is a blessing to any woman holding a physical ailment or burden they want healed. Being in the medical field myself, I had several concerns and reservations about deciding to go into surgery. I knew the risks, and therefore tried to convince myself that I could live with the imperfection. But the thought of being changed was also extremely exciting and desirable. Dr. Wendel sat down with me patiently and walked me through every concern I had, providing only honest answers. He also gave me his own personal statistics on each concern. His confidence instilled my own, and I ended up going to surgery not once, but twice with Dr. Wendel. I must say that I am confident it will not be my last! I could not have dreamed how easy, stress-free, and pain-free my procedures would be! I woke up both times feeling excited, upbeat, and without pain. In fact, after both surgeries I took only Tylenol and none of the pain pills prescribed. My stitches and bandages were all clean and dry, and I had no drainage tubes or leakage at all. I was up doing things around the house within the first 24hrs. I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience! In all honesty, you owe it to yourself to meet this incredible physician and his team and judge for yourself. Very unhappy. I deeply regret having my facial scars revised here. It was made much worse for me and now I must wait a year of my life to show my face only to need another revision. Scars before were decent, now they feel like a true deformity, right in the middle of my face... I will add that the doctor is kind, and I believe he is ethical. I went to see Dr Wendel for consultation and treatment of my aging face. I was a smoker for many years and had vertical wrinkles around my mouth that made it difficult to keep lipstick from running up the cracks. My fair skin in general was looking dull and had some sun spots. Crows feet around my eyes and wrinkles between my brows which made me look angry. Dr Wendel decided that I needed a Micro Laser peel, Fraxel laser around my mouth and some Botox between my eyes. The Micro Laser peel and Fraxel laser were amazing. There were 3-4 days of down time after the peel. When the peeling was complete I was left with bright, soft, spotless skin. The wrinkles around my mouth were significantly improved ( I am going to have a second treatment there).The Botox has removed the frowning appearance around my eyes and between my brows. When the laser is complete around my mouth I plan to have a small amount of filler injected in my lips to add back the volume lost with age. I am very pleased. Dr Wendel is very good at listening to what my wishes were for my face and went over his treatment plan for me very thoroughly. His aesthetic staff are incredibly kind and gentle. They have excellent understanding of the treatments they perform. None of these procedures have been very painful, just a little uncomfortable. The results far outweigh the mild discomfort of the treatments. The aesthetic staff also prescribed a home skin care regimen with NeoCutis products. The products seemed expensive but they last a long time and the benefits are well worth the cost. They are not required and I was not pressured to buy them but I am glad I did. They are well worth the investment. If you plan on doing everything you can for your appearance go all the way to maintain the results. Dr Wendel and his staff are extremely kind, friendly and exceptionally well trained in the newest, most effective treatments for skin care.The office is very lovely and welcoming. I am glad to have a physician and his team to take care of my cosmetic needs with skill, kindness, and overall good spirit. I feel pampered and special when I go there. I have highly recommended Dr Wendel and his staff to my friends and family.

I did not make an appointment. The two star rating is because they do not accept insurance for a medical condition unless it's breast cancer, nor do they bill anything under codes that aren't cosmetic so you can submit to your insurance company yourself. Should be one star for that, but kudos you bill insurance for breast cancer patients, so I will give a two.
