Dr. Arnold did surgery on me 1 year ago on May 21,2018. It has been a long journey with set backs along the way. Saw Dr Arnold on May 16th. He has been a blessing to me! I am so happy with my results he ia a Great and skillful surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone. He has a sweet spirit and a WONDERFUL bedside manner!!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Arnold and God Bless You!

Dr. Arnold has done several surgeries for me during my breast cancer. I could not ask for a better doctor. I highly recommend him. I see other reconstructive surgeries after breast cancer, and a lot of them are not good. I could not be happier with the work Dr. Arnold has done. Dr. Arnold and his assistant are amazing. They make you feel like family. UPDATE: I felt like I had an infection in my implant that I received due to cancer. It was itching, hot, red, and hard yesterday(Saturday, July 28, 2019) I called my plastic surgeon expecting to get their answering service on a Saturday evening at 9pm. Dr. Laurence Arnold himself answered the phone. I told him I thought I needed antibiotics(husband is a nurse and thats what he said). Instead of calling in antibiotics, Dr. Arnold told me to come into his office on Sunday. YES I said Sunday. Not many doctors care this much. Thank you Dr. Arnold, Plastic Surgery of Asheville!!

In 2009, I had breast cancer and radiation treatments. In 2016 it reoccured and I had to have a double masectomy. Dr. Arnold worked with me through multiple infections and thin skin from the radiation. Dr. Arnold even had to use skin from my tummy area to create a pocket for one of my implants. (I didn't mind the tummy tuck either!!) Dr. Arnold treated me like family and didn't give up on me!! I highly recommend him!!!

I was so thankful to have a caring doctor that I could put full confidence in due to his experience in his field as I faced being diagnosed with breast cancer and making the decision to have a double mastectomy this past summer. I had minimal pain and my healing was speedy! My incisions look great! I chose to do a rebuild and I’m so pleased with my results! Dr. Arnold listened to what I wanted and set out to achieve that goal! He’s always smiling and upbeat and tried to keep me upbeat also! I ,also, love Selena, his office manager, she too, is always sweet, smiling and upbeat! Both of them, were over the top, kind and made the multiple visits very pleasant! They came highly recommended to me through a friend and I highly recommend them to each of you!

Dr. Arnold performed breast reduction surgery for me on Feb.11th. I am still healing but am very pleased with the outcome. I went down from a bulky, heavy 36H to a 36C. My upper back and neck are already feeling more comfortable. They are symmetrical and even perky which I am pleased about! For the first time in 40+ years I am going bathing suit shopping. He is very kind and compassionate. Thank you to him and his receptionist Selena for making me feel so comfortable! It has been 4 months since my breast reduction surgery and they have healed nicely. So I decided to have Dr. Arnold finish the job he started and have him fix my nipples. He could not fix them during the original breast surgery as it could have caused infection. I had very deep inverted nipples and wanted them to be easier to clean. So I went back to him to get that done. I am 2 & 1/2 weeks out now and they are healing great. This procedure was done in office and not painful at all. He was very gentle and I am pleased with the outcome. Any pain that I experienced while healing was taken care of with no more that Ibuprofen. No more having to clean them with special treatment and can just take care of things in the shower. Thank you Dr. Arnold and Selena for your great care!

I consulted Dr Arnold in about 2013 about getting an implant done where I had a mastectomy and had chemo and radiation done. Upon leaving the hospital the day of the surgery my pain increased instead of easing. I called and all he did was increase my pain meds. I was in such excruciating pain that I couldn't even move alone come to him to check. Soon after that I was leaking fluids badly. After a short while after my incision was opening and he restitched it. That didn't hold for long so I demanded it be removed. He tried to talk me into keeping it. It was removed and I then had to see another dr as the area was infected and I wouldn't return to him. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was told by a dr that I consulted before removing the implant that this surgery should never be done to skin that had radiation. Big mistake letting Dr Arnold ever touch me.

Dr. Arnold is an absolute wonderful physician! I am so very pleased with the surgeries he has performed for me during my double mastectomy. He is a very kind, special doctor. Did my first breast reconstruction after cancer surgery. Implant was too big and too high on my chest. Did a second surgery at a later date to try to correct. This surgery was a total failure. The smaller implant is still too high and there is a indention running down the front of my breast. It is getting worse with time and is very uncomfortable. His attitude at my check up was disappointing - he said 'oh well I guess maybe you go a muscle there. You would think after 2 surgeries he would know that. I'm just real disappointed.

Dr Arnold and Selena are most caring and compassionate with their patients. I had breast reconstruction in January of this year after a mastectomy, chemo and radiation in 2015/2016. Even though I had some complications Dr Arnold made me feel comfortable and important(considering what he had to work with....old skin that had radiation treatments).
