Dr. Trujillo was called in to see my mom while she was in the hospital for a bedsore that would not heal. She had to have her leg amputated the prior year due to vascular disease and diabetes. He recommended flap surgery for her bed sore. He was very caring and made us feel so confident in him that I mentioned that my mom needed revision surgery to her leg that had been amputated below the knee and how I wished he could do the revision. Without hesitation, he agreed to go ahead and do the revision while he had her under performing the flap surgery. We were totally blown away at how good both of her incisions looked. He followed her throughout her healing process which took 75% less time on the revision than it took when it was first amputated by another surgeon. He is a very compasionate doctor who truly cares about his patients. We could not have asked for a better surgeon and highly recommend Dr. Trujillo,Jr.
