My husband and I went to Dr. Kulbersh to see if he could treat a large scar on my husbands face. We paid the $75 consultation fee when we checked in and knew it could be applied to any service or product per their website. Dr. Kulbersh said we should visit a laser treatment doctor. Even though he advertises laser scar revision on his website. He said he could do microderm in a couple of months but did not offer the service even though they provide that service at his office. He suggested a product called biocorium (sp?). I asked several questions about the product. He walked us out of the office to the reception area without a treatment plan / did not suggest anything he or his office could do now or in the future / recommend purchasing the product at his office. He did he suggest, come back to see me in 3 months so we can see how the scar is healing. He gave me the biocorium product to look at as we were checking out (only because I asked) and then said to give it to the receptionist when we leave. At no time did he say we could buy the product. When he left, I asked the receptionist if we could use the consultation fee to buy the product which we did. As we walked out, I asked my husband, "was that a really weird experience or is it just me?" He agreed. We both felt like he simply did not want to help our situation. Either that or it was just too minor for him to be bothered. I would not go back nor would recommend him. Thanks. (I've also posted this review on yelp)

I had such a wonderful experience here. Dr. Kulbersh is so nice and I love his process. I got a rhinoplasty procedure and he lets you describe what you want done and has you come in for a few appointments where you have to tell him what you want just so he can be sure you will be happy with the result and he will do exactly what you ask. The staff is all so friendly and attentive. They have you come in the day after surgery to make sure everything is going well and help you with post op care and they do so many follow ups to be sure that it heals right. They were also very understanding about my payment plan. There is never a wait they take you right back and make you comfortable. He was stuck in an emergency surgery the day I was supposed to go in for my first consultation so they even waived the fee for my troubles and rescheduled at my convenience. I went to at least 4 plastic surgery places to make sure I was comfortable and confident with my surgeon and this place was by far the best. He has trained under the best people and really knows what he's doing and talking about. If you want anything done WELL and CORRECTLY so that it looks natural and lasts forever then this is the place you should go - no brainer. I love my nose so much and am so grateful for Carolina Facial Plastics!

I met Dr. Kulbersh through my cousin who needed to have reconstructive surgery after having cancer. Dr. Kulbersh is one of the most amazing plastic surgeons I have every met! I really think he is the best plastic surgeon you can get! He is extremely thorough, professional and makes sure that everything is perfect before the surgery and after! Honestly, when I first met him I thought he was kind of anal, but when I saw the results and saw how precise he was and how amazing the results turned out, I was so impressed. My friend had cancer in her jaw and after they removed it she looked disfigured and so she came to see Dr. Kulbersh because he specializes in facial plastics. He asked for pictures of her when she was younger and before she had any issues. He explained what she should expect and that initially after the surgery she would not look pretty until the swelling and everything went down. I'm so glad he prepared us before because then we knew what to expect. He definitely did not sugar coat anything. However, we began to see dramatic results after about 2 weeks where she could see her old face coming back and the way he did the procedure she looked better than before. Honestly, he is one of the best I have seen both in his communication as well as his surgical skill. He even gave her some Juvederm just to make her face look extra good and didn't even charge her for it! I highly recommend him as a facial plastic surgeon.

Ok, I really cannot rave enough about this practice and Dr. Kulbersh. Everyone there genuinely likes their job, and that is obvious from the moment you walk into their gorgeous facility. Heather, the receptionist, is most welcoming and authentic. Given the unparalleled reputation Dr. Kulbersh has (studying under world authorities in facial plastics), I more or less expected a snobbish culture- this could not be farther from the truth. He has proactively engrained clinical excellence with Southern charm that makes his patients feel perfectly at ease. Dr. Kulbersh is a brilliant surgeon, and I wouldn't hesitate to push my own friends or family through his doors if they needed a procedure. Charlotte is fortunate to have him. I don't know of a higher recommendation.

I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Kulbersh and his practice. He advised me away from the predetermined notions I had as to what procedures I was thinking of, when I had my consultation with him. And, I'm glad I listened to him. The results of the surgery I had have been very good. Very natural results, which is what I want. Also, his staff go above and beyond to assist the patient. A snowstorm made it hazardous for me to make it to Charlotte on my scheduled surgery day, and they were able to change my appointment with another patient, so that I could come the next day. It's obvious Dr. Kulbersh is up to date on the latest techniques in this field, and that gives me confidence he can pick the right procedure, given a patient's goals and desires.

I went in for my consultation about 8 weeks ago. I had been looking for a surgeon for a rhinoplasty for SO long, but there were bad options in my area. I found Dr. Kulbersh online and loved how natural and beautiful all of the pictures were. When we went in for the consultation, I was so impressed with how professional he was and how much he seemed to really understand every aspect of my face. This really stood out to me, as most surgeons didn’t seem to understand it the way Dr. Kulbersh did. I immediately decided to go with him, and I completely trusted him. I was COMPLETELY terrified before the procedure, as I had never had surgery before, but everyone was incredibly kind and really comforted me. Lemme tell you, I was a HOT mess. Anyway, after the procedure, I actually was in a lot of pain because I got a head cold the day before the surgery, but I had almost no swelling and no bruising. The week passed by so fast and I got my cast off four days ago. I immediately adored my nose, which is unique because there’s usually a ton of swelling and most people don’t instantly love it. I finally feel so beautiful and so confident in myself. He did such a fantastic job, it could not look more beautiful or natural. It is everything I ever wanted. I was so insecure before and my insecurity took up so much of my life, but going with Dr. Kulbersh was THE BEST DECISION ever. I have a fantastic radar for detecting when someone has had a nose job, but mine looks like the nose I was meant to have my whole life, and does not look like a nose job at all. He really changed my whole life and I am so grateful to him. If you are unsure about going through with a rhinoplasty or anything else, just know Dr. Kulbersh will do a wonderful job and make the experience as easy as possible for you. I finally love how I look, all thanks to Dr. Kulbersh!!! so thank you!!!

Doctor K is like one of your really good friends you hang out with, play video games, ride bikes, you can trust and talk about anything. The only difference is he is really really smart and went on to medical school and became a seriously kick ass doctor who does incredible work and surgery with peoples lives and you still play Playstation :) hahaha He is really great and I am lucky I found him I hope you do the same you will be glad you did.

I have to say my first choice was a tragic mistake and I thought I would have to live with the results. I'm nearing 60, and have never been particularly vain about my appearance, but I had noticed over the last decade-especially after losing thirty pounds--that I had developed a definite sag in my neck, which accentuated an already receding chin. I finally decided last year to do something about it. After checking references and reviews, I decided to approach Dr. Kulbersh last December. I found him personable, interested, involved, and responsive to my concerns and questions. I teach college, and as soon as the school year ended I had him perform a chin implant and neck lift procedure (platysmaplasty). I couldn't be happier with the results! Last week, at a staff meeting, one of my colleagues approached me and whispered, "You look GREAT! Fifteen years younger!" Big kudos to Dr. Kulbersh for his excellent work! He's not only a great surgeon, but I discovered that he really pays attention to his patients' needs. If I need any work in the future, I'll definitely be a return customer.

I met with Doctor Kulbersh to discuss my concerns with sagging skin at my jaw line (lines around my mouth and to my chin were starting to become pronounced), loss of volume in my cheek area, and drooping eye lids. I will be turning 45 shortly and wanted to feel refreshed so I could face this milestone a little easier. Dr. Kulbersh listed to my concerns and proposed treatments to address these issues. I had Perlane filler around mouth and in cheek area and Botox to raise forehead to take care of droopy eyelids. I was very pleased with the results. I do not look 25 of course, but it definitely took some years off. I look really refreshed and more youthful, which makes me HAPPY!

I had a really great experience with Dr. Kulbersh and his team while staying in Charlotte with family who recommended him. I went in for a consultation for Botox for frown lines and while I was there, I discovered that Dr. Kulbersh also uses Botox to help people who grind their teeth. I had been having terrible jaw pain and headaches because of my teeth grinding at night and I was so excited to find out there was a way to relax my jaw muscle and relieve the pain! I went ahead and got the Botox for frown lines and for bruxism (teeth grinding) and I am very pleased. My jaw muscle does not clench as tightly at night as it did before and my headaches and jaw pain are gone. Will definitely go back to Dr. Kulbersh for more Botox!

Spent a TON of money on face rejuvenation, including cheek implants, lower facelift, upper and lower eyes and neck lift. He did a great job pre op and immediately post op, but once the bandages came off I noticed a raised loop under my chin. He wasn't too concerned about it, gave me some additional injections. By my 3 month visit, my jawline had already dropped and jowls were back, but he kept telling me all was ok. I decided NOT to go back, he didn't listen to my concerns! By 8 months, I looked terrible, and went to another surgeon 2 hrs away for a consult. I ended up with him doing a revision one year almost to the date. He told me there was still a LOT of fat in my neck, he removed that, redid my facelift, and at a fraction of the cost of the first go around, and here I am 7 months later and I look like I did after the surgery. I see he has LOTS of 5 stars, but my advice, be wary!

I have a facial paralysis as a result of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. I really didn't think anything could improve the way my face looked -- very crooked smile and other issues. With Dysport, Dr. Kulbersh was able to give me my smile back. Nothing can heal the nerve damage but I can't believe how much better I look and feel! What a wonderful experience. If you know anyone who has a facial paralysis, I can not suggest strongly enough that they talk with Dr. Kulbersh. He is amazingly nice, knowledgeable and talented.

Dr. Kulbersh did an amazing job with my procedure. I was extremely anxious because I have never had any surgeries before (not even wisdom teeth), so I had no idea what to expect or what the results would be. During the entire consultation process, he was super helpful and answered all of my questions. His staff is also really welcoming, especially Lisa. She walked me through the whole process, explained everything I wanted to know, and helped me relax. Dr. Kulbersh had exceptional bedside manner -- I was a nervous wreck right before the procedure, but he was very comforting and supportive. I am now 3 months post-surgery and his professionalism has not changed at all. He is still just as kind and friendly as the first consultation. The results are also exactly what I wanted, which obviously couldn't be guaranteed because everyone heals differently, so the fact that he was still able to achieve my vision is incredible. Best facial plastic surgeon in Charlotte and leader in the community. If you're nervous about sharing anything too personal with your regular physician, take a breath, then go see Dr. Kulbersh. He'll make you feel comfortable with any cosmetic work you need done. I've had a long history of skin cancer in my family so when I went to see Dr. Kulbersh it was mostly as a preventative measure. He gave me a great sun blocker to put on every day and I've noticed a big difference in my skin exposure when I'm outside playing sports.
