**checking in a year later on 12/21/18... LASIK with Kremer was the best decision I made in 2018. I am amazed and beyond pleased with the results I experienced. The staff was INCREDIBLE from reception, the techs, the Dr - everyone! The facility and equipment are the best and the procedure was quick and painless. The price was affordable and they offered 0% financing for 24 months. I highly recommend them! Previous post from 2017: I had a great experience with my Lasik consultation and I am moving forward with the procedure in March. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like I am in the best hands with the latest and greatest technology. Wait time was reasonable and within the expectations that were set with me by the person who scheduled my consultation. Really looking forward to a life without contacts and glasses!

I chose Kremer based on the positive reviews I read online. I'm glad I did - I believe I received great care there. The onus is on you a bit when you go in to discuss LASIK. They ask you repeatedly along the way if you have any questions, and I'm someone who blanks when asked that question. I emailed Kremer after my first appointment and they had my doctor, Dr. Aronsky, call me back. He took the time to answer my questions, which was very reassuring. The other doctors and staff are just as nice. Everyone is incredibly pleasant there and I can see why. They perform life-changing procedures there. I can't believe what a difference it has made to wake up every day and be able to SEE. I had the procedure done 2 weeks ago. I could drive the next day but I wasn't ready to work (on a computer). I was told your vision doesn't stabilize for 1-3 months after the surgery so be prepared for that. I also didn't know you're supposed to use individual vials of eye drops for a month afterwards - I was using regular bottled eye drops at first which was a mistake. Overall even though the surgery was kind of freaky (to be expected), it's been worth it. I've told friends to visit Kremer and I hope they do!

I had laser eye surgery here with Dr. Pronesti. I had a consultation and they determined I was a perfect candidate. I asked TONS of questions and they were all answered thoroughly by the optometrist. The day before my surgery I had a two hour appointment for them to thoroughly evaluate my eyes again. I met with Dr. Pronesti on this day and got to ask him all the questions I had. He is awesome. He has done over 30,000 surgeries and I trust him. I do think I needed more "relaxing" medicine before the surgery. I was pretty freaked out before I went in. I paid $3800 after some negotiating. I think the original price is $2450 an eye. I did a consultation at Lasikplus as well. Their price (after negotiating) was $3400 but even with the lower price I didn't feel nearly as comfortable. I didn't have any negative side effects. I see 20/20 and wish I would have done this sooner!

I had my LASIK surgery done at Kremer on November 22, 2013. I had an outstanding experience! It is still sinking in that I no longer need contacts or glasses. I had a very high amount of astigmatism in both eyes, even more so in my right eye and Dr. Pronesti was amazing. I was extremely nervous before the procudure and the staff members helped me relax and put my mind at ease. overall the procedure wasn't bad at all. The pressure was not a big deal to me at all and I felt absolutely no pain. After going home and taking my 6 hour nap, I woke up and could already see SO much better. The next morning I was seeing with 20/20 vision. I just had my one month follow up appointment and I am still seeing 20/20. I experienced light sensitivity and dryness for about the first 2 weeks after surgery. Now, a month later, I still have some dryness, but nothing that cannot be solved with some over the counter drops. This was truly a life changing experience for me. My contacts had gotten so bothersome that I was wearing glasses full-time prior to the surgery. I am amazed at how perfect my results are. Thank you Dr. Pronesti and everyone at Kremer Eye Center!!!

Dr. Lewis Assistants were very rude. My mother resides in a nursing Home and have Dementia along with other health issues needs cataract surgery on both eyes. The nursing Home sent an escort with mom the escort was given papers to take back to the nursing Home for preparation for surgery. I was call by the assistant from The doctor’s office stating the physical form and ekg was not faxed over. I checked the nursing Home a physical form was never given to the escort therefore making the paper work late. I call the doctor’s assistant I was told the nursing Home canceled the appointment which was not true. I was treated very abruptly one of the assistants told me in a threatening manner If the paper work is not there by 12:00 in the afternoon she will cancel the appointment and when I asked to speak to the manager because of how rude I was spoken to I was told she was the manager. I have no control of how the nursing Home conduct their workflow however, the two assistants had no compassion that an 87 years was in need of this surgery because she can’t see very well. I was also hung up on. Where is patient quality service. That is not the professional way to handle customers. What if my mom was by her self she could not have handled this abuse with her health issues. I so concerned.

Even though the center is usually a very busy place, they are still friendly and professional. They lived up to their reputation for quality and service. It's one month after my LASIK surgery and I am very happy with the results. Everything has healed up fine and I'm seeing 20/20. I experienced the most common side effects of dry eyes and seeing glare (halos) around lights at night. These are expected and should go away with time. I've already seen an improvement after one month and expect to see more in the coming weeks. Thanks Kremer for doing a terrific job.

Dr. Aronsky and his expert staff will take the time to get to know you, and your unique eyecare needs, and give you the advice you need to hear and follow. As a kid I had excellent vision. 20/15. Unfortunately, by the time I graduated High School, I needed glasses to read the chalk board. My Astigmatism progressed slightly through the years and ultimately I ended up needing to wear my glasses more often than not. I decided on a whim to get a free consultation, half-expecting them to say I wasn't a good candidate. Turns out, I was a very good candidate! That was a Friday. On the following Tuesday, Dr. Aronsky performed Custom WAVEfront IntraLase LASIK on both eyes. There was some mild discomfort from the pressure, but no pain at all from the actual laser. Insignificant in comparison to the reward. I am now 32 years old, and for the first time since I was a kid, I no longer need glasses. I'm seeing life through rejuvenated eyes. My vision is currently 20/15 in the left eye and 20/25 in the right eye. I am told the right eye will most likely continue to improve over the next few weeks and months. Choosing to get LASIK at Kremer Eye Center was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made. They answered all of my questions during my two visits before the actual surgery (the consultation and the pre-op appointment) and made me feel very comfortable. As for the surgery itself, Dr. Aronsky performed mine, and he was great. The surgery was quick (I got to the facility at 9am and was on my way home by 11am) and painless, and I could see immediately after it was over, which amazed me. Having something done to your eye is perhaps the most dreading thing ever. The constant trepidation I felt the days before the surgery was immense enough to keep me awake. However, Kremer eye center is perhaps the most reassuring and validated eye center I have ever visited. Starting from the beginning, the staffs were very informative on what to be expected and the expected result. Dr.Aronsky operated on my eyes on the day of the surgery, then on the next day, 24 hours later, I can see! As 48 hours have passed since then, my eyes feel completely normal with a 20/20 vision, no irritation or pain at all. I will never regret coming to Kremer eye for my lasik. I could have gone to a cheaper option like Lasik Vision Institute, but I know that the cost is worth it. highly recommend Kremer Eye for lasik and Dr.Aronsky as the surgeon. Thank you once again.

I had been thinking about LASIK for quite a while and finally got in touch with the folks @ Kremer. I'm in my 50s and have worn glasses and contacts since I was a kid. As an adult a few years ago, while wearing my contacts, I had to start using reading glasses/"cheaters". The day after my LASIK, I went outside and just looked up and down my street. All I can say is WOW!!!!! When I'm laying in bed at night watching TV, I don't have to worry about falling asleep with my glasses or contacts. As a sports official, I feel I can see the game so much better and clearer than with my glasses/contacts. The only downside to the surgery is always having to keep a pair of reading glasses handy, but I'll take that little downside, AS THE UPSIDES OF THE LASIK ARE SO GREAT!!!!! Another plus, is the entire staff @ KREMER is FANTASTIC. All are very informative and easy to speak with, both in person and on the phone. They take their time to answer your questions and make sure you have the information you're looking for! THANKS KREMER!!!

Overall the staff and facility are amazing! Dr. Aronsky was my surgeon for Lasik and he was superb. I will happily continue back to Kremer with one exception: Dr. Khouri. I had to have my flap lifted and reset because of an accident that occurred a little over a week after my Lasik procedure. During the follow-up session this morning she told me that I had to come back in again tomorrow. I was annoyed because I rearranged my entire week because of this accident. She told me that I had to come back in and I said (and I shouldn't have), that the accident happened because I was hit in the eye with the beach ball that they, ironically, provided as part of the giftbag. She vehemently shot back, "Well we weren't the ones who hit it into your eye." Yes, I had been upset but the tone of her reaction seemed so out of balance from my comment. So I told her I would go speak to someone else about scheduling the appointment rather than continue with her. I asked who I should speak to and she said the receptionist at the front desk. So I left the examine room and went up to the front desk to make the appointment. A moment later Dr. Khouri came up and in an obnoxious tone said that I was refusing to come back in. If that were true, why was I standing there scheduling the appointment? I'm coming back in. I'm simply never coming back to meet with Dr. Khouri.

I got my LASIK done 3/28 with Dr Pronesti and everything went beautifully. I was anxious when I arrived and got even more nervous with the last minute repeat testing that they did to ensure everything would be perfect. Once they took me downstairs to the surgical suite everything went great. They explained to me exactly what would be happening with the two different machines and what sensations I could expect. Why, why, why did I wait this long to have this procedure performed??? Seriously, this is one of the best decisions I have ever made! The younger you are the longer you'll have to benefit from this procedure. When you take in to account the cost of glasses, contacts, contact solutions, etc., the cost of LASIK is a no brainer! Some health insurance companies even reimburse you for a portion of the cost. As far as Kremer goes, I'm so glad I chose this facility! Every single person I was involved with was very helpful and attentive. The procedure was performed by Dr. Michael Aronsky. What a great doctor. He spent the necessary time to discuss my options and ensured I was comfortable with them prior to moving forward. The evening after the surgery, about 8:30 at night, I received a phone call from Dr. Aronsky! He was just checking in to see how I was doing! In this day and age? How great is that! It's been two weeks since my procedure and everything is progressing as it should. The "halo effect" is diminishing and vision is just keeps getting sharper. If you are thinking about this procedure I strongly encourage you to contact Kremer Eye Center, set up an appointment, and discuss your options. Just from the initial visit, hopefully you'll get the same feeling I got and know that you're in the right place!

I went to Kremer since they have been doing LASIK since the 90s and their doctors have many operations under their belts. I was surprise to see how on schedule they are compared to other doctor offices. I was also impressed with the level of professionalism with the staff and Dr. Pronesti. It was nice to see that they also take your health into concern and use sanitizing wipes on equipment before you look into them.

I got PRK done at Kremer late last month and wow! The staff is very friendly, professional and caring. The surgery was quick and painless for me and although PRK usually requires and longer recovery time than LASIK, my recovery was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I also have had NO issues with glare or any of the usual side effects from these types of surgeries. I healed well and have been told that you can't even tell I had surgery done. I've been raving about the procedure to anyone who would listen and highly recommend Kremer Eye Center.

I came to Kremer for Cataract surgery. Scared out of my mind, I’m 29 years old, this was almost 2 years ago now. They were phenomenal. The staff and nurses were knowledgeable, super kind, and organized. The doctor was laid back, made me feel comfortable, so nice, couldn’t have made me feel better and more prepared. I came back today to have a YAG procedure followup. They usually do YAGs on Thursdays but they were closed tomorrow. They went out of their way to fit me in today. Got Lasik surgery for both eyes last week and I couldn't be happier. I have been wearing glasses since 6th grade and contacts since 8th grade. I am pretty Blind without them so once the surgery was done I was able to see immediately. There are halos around bright lights , but I know that will go away with time. They explain the procedure the day before and while it's happening. you are even allowed another mild sedative in case the first one didn't relax you enough. The procedure itself is not painful, but it is strange. the worst part is the pressure on your eye for 20 seconds. I was very nervous about the whole thing, but Dr. Aronsky really makes you comfortable. He walks you through everything and encourages you throughout the surgery. I highly recommend Kremer. The staff is nice and helpful and will make sure you have your follow up with them or your regular optometrist. I also got a lifetime guarantee. If i need Lasik again 10 years down the road they will do it for free. Kremer will always be trusted with my eyes.

I was astonished, to say the least, that approx 6 hours after surgery, I removed my goggles and had better than perfect vision. It is insanity that I know see 20/15! tried calling several times trying to help an older patient who had an appointment and got lost and ended up in our building, he wasn't able to walk very well, and was winded so we had him sit and I told him we will call to make sure he could still be seen. I literally called 6 times and even chose Doctors Line, but no one would pick up and when I chose a different option, someone picked up and hung up. Terrible Service.

I decided to use Kremer Eye Center in KOP after receiving several recommendations from colleagues. My appointments leading up to LASIK were great, I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time and moved through the process seamlessly. The procedure itself was great. Fast forward to my follow up appointments and it has gone down hill. As I sit in the waiting room at 55 minutes past my appointment time, I have received no updates on when I’ll be seen. Several other people within the waiting room have said they have been waiting well over an hour. As I listen to the receptionist schedule follow up appointments for people, I hear her say the requested time is already double booked. Clearly this is a self inflicted problem, if you double book your appointments, you’ll never get through everyone in a reasonable and respectable time. Needless to say, I will be finding a different office to complete my follow up appointments. I would still recommend this location for LASIK and, because they want your business, you’ll be seen immedialty. However, your follow up appointments can be done elsewhere and will still be covered so I’d recommend going elsewhere.

I decided to go with Kremer for my Lasik surgery based on the awesome deal they had going in December and the fact that I had heard very positive reviews from my co-workers. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly and helpful. They give you step by step instructions on the surgery, post-operative appointments/responsibilities and financing. They also include in your procedure one year of free follow up appointments. The surgery was super easy, fast and painless. The following day I was able to see without any glasses. It's been about a month and although I've had some minor issues with glare at night or when I stare at a computer screen or tv screen for too long, the results have been fabulous.

This is a very busy place that moves through a LOT of patients but is really well organized. Although visits require several procedures in several areas with several different personnel, it was all so efficient that you're not waiting very long for anything. I can't begin to understand how wonderful it feels to be glasses and contacts free. My consultation at Kremer was to the outmost high standards of Lasik treatment centers I have ever visited. I visited three others and Kremer was the best choice. They were very flexible in scheduling my appointments according to my schedule and seeing me before I had the surgery the next day. My mother was more nervous than I was but once the treatment was completed that Friday, and sleeping for 6 hours, I felt like I was reborn. I can't begin to tell you after 3 days, I'm so glad to not have to worry about waking up in the morning and not being able to see anything or trying to locate my glasses or walk to the bathroom to put in my contacts. Dr. Zacchei has been taking care of my eyes for over 10 years, and I couldn't be happier. He performed my cataract surgery and implanted vision-correcting lenses, and I now see without glasses for the first time since I was a child. He also performed my glaucoma procedure, which has kept my eye pressure down for a remarkable 8 years. I see him quarterly for glaucoma checks, and he is unfailing cheerful, friendly, and willing to answer any questions. I am totally happy with my care at Kremer. I would suggest only that you book your appointments as early in the day as possible, because it is not unusual for the office to get backed up, leading to long wait times later in the day.
