If I could give no stars I would!!! Dr. Fosnot was incredibly rude and down right mean to me!! He also has X- Ray vision because he diagnosed me with just feeling my breast area. He did not pull my Mammogram or Ultrasound results!! I had implants that ruptured causing me to be severely ill!! Dr. Fosnot said saline implants do not cause illness... impossible were his words!! He asked me if I was a reformed drug addict!!! Which I am not!! He said this because of the medicine I choose to take for my back!! I was extremely offended!! He told me that there was no way I would ever look the same and refused to put new implants in. He said " you will be left with deflated breasts" I have a 3 year old and he thought that it was best to take out the severely damaged implants and wait, with tubes coming out of my breast, for 3 to 6 months. I told the Doctor that we had taken money out of out retirement to pay for a lift and new implants. He told me to save the money!! He told me he would put new Implants in in 3 to 6 months and then in that I can think about what I want to do!! Why would I need 3 to 6 months. I already knew what I wanted!! Take out the toxic implants and put new ones in!! He said I need that time to think about what I wanted????!!?? I told Dr. Fosnot I used to do bikini modeling and contests. He actually said well that was a long time ago! I felt judged by my age (44)!!! I do not look my age at all. He said I would not heal properly and so much other hurtful things that I walked out of the office in tears and would not speak to my fiance about anything until later that night!! Dr. Fosnot said "you can get a second opinion"! I said I don't know where to go. I thought going to a University of Penn doctor was the best of the best. He started looking in his phone to give me numbers of other plastic surgeons. I did not want a second opinion from anyone he knew!! Well I found a Doctor at Riddle Hospital. My Doctor pulled my Ultrasound and if needed, was going to do a MRI scan. My dear Doctor said absolutely these implants are making you ill. I was scheduled for surgery immediately!! Guess what I have new implants and the report on the old ones was extremely bad!! Calcium rocks were in my chest!! My Doctor from Riddle Hospital rebuilt my breasts and 3 weeks later I am healed!! I barely have a scar!! Pain wise I just took Tylenol!! No tubes in me were needed!! Just everything Dr. Fosnot said was not only insulting and disturbing was not TRUE!! Do NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, PLEASE!! If you do get that second opinion, PLEASE!! The calcium leaking into my blood stream was causing havoc on my body along with Gray-Green saline from the ruptured implants. Yes my saline ruptured implants caused me to be extremely ill. My Doctor at Riddle was so kind and said thank God we got those implants out of you because it was really BAD!! Dr. Fosnot sent me away with the wrong diagnosis, severly ill, and just the way he spoke to me was absolutely HORRIBLE!! I do have new implants that look better than the first time!!! Dr. Fosnot said I would never look the same smdh. I look better!! He was right about that!! I was severely ill and Dr. Fosnot never pulled my chart but he could feel the ruptured implants and just tell me what was going on!!!! He is rude and unkind!! Unbelievable that he argued with me that the implants couldn't make me sick...wrong Dr. Fosnot!! Unbelievable I walked out of that office in tears. The secretary gave me a tissue, Dr. Fosnot could careless about my feelings. UNBELIEVABLE that Dr. Fosnot gave me the wrong diagnosis and sent me away with just a wave of his hands, crying hysterically. Dr. Fosnot was supposed to talk to my insurance company to get approval and I never heard back from them as well! Just get a second opinion!!! I did great with my new surgery. I had not a one issue!! I can't even describe how much better I feel without Calcified implants in me!!! My skin looks clear my eyes are brighter, and so on!! Dr. Fosnot was wrong in so many ways. I wouldn't let Dr. Fosnot operate on my Dog!!!

Dr. Fosnot is a kind doctor. The issue I experienced has to do with the Bryn Mawr office and lack of time management. They scheduled an appointment that they cancelled and there was not another appointment for two months. When I saw the doctor the wait was extremely long! When I scheduled for stitches to be removed the receptionist stated I would be in and out quickly. This was important as I had to go to work. On day of removal, after waiting 30 minutes I was told it would be at least 10 more minutes so I had to leave and come back. Clearly very frustrating. So if you decide to see the doctor at this office be prepared for unreasonably long waits.

Dr. Fosnot is amazing, if I could give more stars I would! I have a condition called hidradenitis, it causes painful cysts to grow under my arm. I have had this for 6+ years and have always had a hard time treating it and not many doctors in the area were very familiar with it. Luckily enough, I came across Dr. Fosnot and not only was he familiar with the diagnosis I had, but he knew exactly how to treat it (bonus points for being a plastic surgeon as well). Being a young female he always wanted the best for me so I never had any self confidence issues after the surgery, which reassured me he truly had my best interest at heart. 2 years ago he performed the procedure on one arm that also resulted in a skin graft, I also had another procedure recently for the other arm, completing the surgeries I will need to treat this (fingers crossed). Let me tell you, it looks amazing! I couldnt have asked for anything better. Every step of the way he treated me with the up most respect and was always very professional. I never felt as if he would do anything I wouldn't approve of. I trusted him enough to go into surgery not knowing what would be needed when I woke up (skin graft, drains, wound vac), I always knew that he would do his best to leave me with the smallest scars. I cannot thank him enough or be more appreciative of him. He has not only taken the physical pain away but he restored my confidence that was so badly crushed due to the embarrassment of what was there. Being 20 years old and not wearing certain shirts or not being able to lift my arms without the fear of people seeing it can really make you very self conscious. I can finally say that I can lift my arms and feel confident in tank tops and bathing suits again!! He truly has the patients best interest and will do anything in his ability to make it an easier experience overall. Thank you so much Dr. Fosnot!!!

Dr Joshua Fosnot performed my DIEP reconstruction , and he did a great job. He prepares you ahead of the game. I trusted him since he seemed very cautious and very skilled. He nailed the shape in the new reconstruction to match the other side. I recommend him.
