Dr. Popowich and his staff were all very professional and caring. From my innitial consultation through my recovery I felt that my concerns and questions were directly addressed. I never felt any pressure or judgement when discussing options and knew I had a say in every aspect of my procedure. My recovery was amazing and I am extremely happy with my end results! I highly recommend this clinic to friends and family because they really listened to me and gave me realistic expectations for the look I was hoping to achieve.

I was referred to Dr. O’Brien at Portland Plastic Surgery Group after being diagnosed with breast cancer and told I would need a mastectomy. For anyone unfamiliar with the process, breast reconstruction is now generally included with a mastectomy—times have really changed for women with this diagnosis. I had no idea. Anyway, my breast surgeon who was to perform the mastectomy had originally referred me to a different plastic surgeon/office for my reconstruction. After my initial consultation with that doctor, I left feeling very scared and dismayed. My surgeon then referred me to Dr. Obrien and what a different experience it was! Dr. O’Brien was amazing—she gave me complete confidence in her abilities to handle my surgery and provide the best results possible. She was easy to talk to, sensitive to my fears and concerns, and best of all, thoroughly managed my expectations at every step. Furthermore, the entire staff at Portland Plastic Surgery are wonderful, from Gaylenn and Kiahna at the front desk, who remembered me by face and name after my first visit, to the medical assistants, Shannon and Cherrie, who always made me feel welcome and like a part of the family. The professionalism of this entire office kept me calm and comfortable and always made me confident that I was in the best hands. It has now been almost 12 months since my mastectomy (part 1) and almost 5 months since my reconstructions surgery (part 2). I’m extremely happy with the results, and looking back on the whole experience, I honestly feel that Dr. O’Brien, her Physicians Assistant, Colleen Phillips, and the rest of the staff at Portland Plastic Surgery are responsible for making this past year a lot easier and less stressful than I initially thought it would be. I am truly grateful to the whole team and would enthusiastically recommend Dr. O’Brien and her team to any woman who finds herself in need of a top-notch plastic surgeon.

If you are thinking about it, do it. The office is lovely, and everyone that I have interacted with is amazing! No one tried to up-sell me or tell me to do more, and I felt respected and valued as a person.

Dr. Zegzula was professional and personable during appointments and I had complete trust in his abilities leading up to surgery. Recovery and healing was incredibly fast with ideal outcome and minimal scarring. Dr. Zegzula said good health helps with that, but I'm sure his skills and precise work contributed. I'm so glad I chose him as my surgeon! I also cannot speak enough of the great bedside manners, not just from Dr.Z, but the entire staff. I was always greeted by my first name and it felt like the entire staff genuinely enjoyed doing their job. Highly recommended.

I had a consultation with Colleen Phillips for a cyst removal. She was personable, informative, and set a reasonable price so we agreed to have the procedure done the following month when I returned from a trip. On a Sunday a couple weeks before the procedure, I woke up with a ping pong ball-sized lump on my forehead -- the cyst had become infected. Not much I could do that day, but Monday morning I didn't go to work and was off to the races calling anyone and everyone. The receptionist here let me know Colleen was in a surgery until 1:30 and her afternoon was booked, but she'd review with Colleen once she was free. I called Kaiser, but I was bounced around from unit to unit and it took forever to just get through to anyone who could help. My options were limited and it seemed like I would have to go another day with this lump on my forehead. At about 1, I got a call from Colleen directly saying she heard the news and she could try to fit me in between appointments. I was in the office by 1:30 and within minutes she was able to get to work. She not just drained the cyst, but removed the sack as well which was the root issue! I was prescribed antibiotics and a few days later, it ended up healing nicely. I was very grateful to Colleen and the folks at this group not just for the medical work they did, but for the outstanding service they provided. I was put at ease when I was panicking and offered a helping hand when I really needed it. Highly recommend this place for the service alone. They also have a very nice office and visitor parking spaces.

After having 3 consultations and given the exact outcome, I directly asked what the cost would be to get my gf breast augmentation done with size, type and under the muscle. 3 days later I get an email saying “come on in for a consult and we will be glad to help”. And guess what there is a charge for that. Save money and time by looking somewhere else first.
