I sincerely cannot thank Dr. Jewell and his entire staff enough for the utmost care, concern, professionalism and kindness they have shown me. I had a breast reduction surgery and the entire experience from start to finish was as great as it could be! They billed it through my insurance with ease and got an approval in less than 2 weeks (after being told by another doctor that they rarely approve these and it wasn’t worth the time). They made me feel comfortable and confident from the first phone call and initial consultation. They patiently answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns like it was perfectly normal for someone to be as nervous as I was and helped me work through the fear. The experience at the surgery center was terrific and then I woke up with no more neck pain. It was amazing! Then back to the doctor’s office the next day for a very kind meeting, helping me understand what was next and what to expect. Then drain removal and again, such a kind experience and then even helping finding new bras and adjusting to my new body. I had the personal cell phone number for the nurse if I had any questions, which I did and she answered quickly. What a kind and caring group of people and I can’t imagine a better experience. And the results? Well, everything turned out great and I think the results are amazing! I’m not yet completely healed, but I can tell that I’m going to look great in the end. If you are considering this surgery, don’t hesitate and I would do it all over again and I would 100% go through Dr. Jewell again too. It’s so obvious that he has years of experience and I have no doubt he only does A+ grade work with anything he offers. Thank you to everyone involved who helped to truly, truly change my life!!! I am so grateful!!

I generally don't write reviews, however after reading the review by Ms. Carlson, I decided it was time to state my thoughts on Dr. Jewell and his staff. I visited his office for a face and neck lift. I found the staff to be extremely well informed and friendly. My consultation with both the nurse and Dr. Jewell lasted more than an hour. All of my questions were answered professionally and clearly. As with Ms. Carlson, I had not considered a brow lift, however after realizing the change it would make, decided to have that procedure done as well. Both Dr. Jewell and his nurse explained in great detail the brow lift as well as the face and neck lift procedures. Following surgery I had the 'normal' bruising and swelling. The 'barbs' that are described were indeed painful (I had been advised this would be the case) however they dissolved after a few months. All of the discomfort was gone leaving eyebrows that sit where they should, instead of barely over my eyes. Now, one year following surgery, I LOVE my new, youthful look. I appear well rested, refreshed and oh so much younger. I would trust Dr. Jewell's surgical skills to family and friends alike.

What a nightmare this experience has been for my wife & I. All i can say is we made the wrong choice for doctors in Eugene. He has totally ruined my wife's beautiful eyes. Mr. Jewell is not even willing to except or acknowledge that his work is that of an amateur and not the glorified dr. that he thinks he is. However, he is willing to charge an additional fee to correct his mistakes. So Kind of him and his staff to oblige. My wife's scars on her upper eye lids are from one end to the other. Nice Job Jewell.

I had a tummy tuck done with Mark on 5/19/2013 and I am loving the results. I am a thin mother of three but the stretched out skin I thought would go away with time never did and never would have without Mark's expertise. From the very first appointment till this day, Marks staff has been informative, compassionate, understanding and caring. I am a mom, not a super model and I wasn't looking for a super model body. I just wanted to be able to look down while standing tall and not see skin hanging over my pants. Not only does my skin look tighter and smoother, I wore a bikini this past summer for the first time in 17 years. I look natural. Not plastic and I love it. I went in concerned about my sagging Rt eyelid. Only wanted an upper eyelid lift. I was explicit in NOT wanting a brow lift. Convinced by the Doctor's expert skills and knowledge I followed his opinion and had both done. Surgery date was 06/24/13. That was the day my eyes were mutilated! Before the surgery, the DR described the eyebrow lift as "stitches" to pull the brows up. Post surgery the descriptive word is "barbs". I have two bumps in the upper forehead that send shock waves threw my head if I comb my hair or sleep on my side. I have two protruding bumps on the outer corners of my eyebrows, with the "barbs" attached to the eyelids. Thus causing horrible wrinkled dimples. They feel like fish hooks, in my head and eyes. My LT eyebrow is about 1/2 higher than my RT. I constantly have a headache, the throbbing keeps me from concentrating at work, and I feel like I have a tight headband on, ALL the time. I LOOK HIDEOUS!!!!! I have asked the Doctor and his staff for a complete refund so I can go somewhere else and have corrective surgery. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!! It has been two weeks post surgery. I cry every time I look in the mirror. DON'T GO TO DR MARK JEWELL. I VERY MUCH REGRET IT!!!!!!

I had a Vaser Assisted Liposuction procedure at Dr Jewell's surgical facility recently. I was very impressed with the initial 'assessment' consultation, being given advice as to how much fat can safely be removed from any given area, what to expect post operatively (pain, discomfort, results) and a discussion about my expectations. Dr Jewell's staff were very considerate and discrete, considering I was nervous and felt vulnerable! I was very pleased with the information that Dr Jewell gave me, as to what areas could be suctioned, what to expect intra-operatively and being reassured that it was possible to have the desirable result I was hoping for. Arriving at the surgical facility the morning of my surgery, the surgical nurse greeted me and helped me get comfortable for the IV and then getting me ready for the surgery. I was very impressed at how comfortable I was during the procedure. Afterwards, Dr Jewell came in to the post operative area, to check on me, before I went home. My experience at The Jewell Surgery Center was exactly what I had hoped for. With Dr Jewell's surgical skill and attention to detail, I have to results I wanted!
