Dr. Hayes is one of the best doctors I have ever had. As a woman, I am especially sensitive to being talked to as if I were a child. I always have a lot of questions, and some doctors don't take the time to discuss proceedures or concerns in a way that I can understand. Dr. Hayes was the opposite; he listened carefully to my concerns and was never condescending. He was called in to treat a bad hand infection while I was in the ER at St Vincent's. The treatment was quite painful, but he stopped regularly to ask how I was doing with it. He is one of the best: highly competent and professional while maintaining a warm bedside manner. He has my highest recommendations.

Was taken to Providence St Vincent Emergency due to a badly infected dog bite. It was necessary to open the wound and remove infected areas. Dr. Hayes performed the surgery at 11 pm on Dec. 23rd. His follow-up visits in the hospital were during Christmas eve & Christmas through Dec 27th. His visits were actually enjoyable, though I was in pain during some of his visits. He is so personable without being syrupy and has a great sense of humor. His communication skills are excellent – both pre & post-op. All options and possible outcomes were explained in a logical, friendly, conversational manner. I did not feel the explanations were a rehearsed boilerplate contrived by an attorney. With the type of surgery I had, it is not uncommon to have some scarring and some reduced mobility. I have neither. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hayes.

MOLE/BIOPSY REMOVAL: Dr. Hayes listens to you and really hears your concerns. I went to him for a mole removal on my face. I knew it would scar so I wanted the most delicate and tiniest sutures possible. Dr. Hayes was a dream and gave me a beautiful tiny tiny scar without a depression or dog ears at the ends of the biopsy. I don't regret seeing him at all. Now one friend has already had surgery with him with 3 more coming to his clinic. He is a suture king! PS his clinic is really in Beaverton!

Dr. Hayes performed my hand surgery. I was impressed with his credentials and felt very confident with his plan for my surgery that had some unknowns going into it. The results are terrific and I'm thankful he was able to use the least invasive method of surgery. Dr Hayes is excellent! I had to have 2 carpel tunnel release surgeries on the same arm, since I did not have the same textbook symptoms most people have, I was worried that my arm would never be the same. Dr Hayes reassured me that he was going to get to the root of my issues and he was right! I feel like I have a new arm! He has been excellent throughout the entire process. He has gone way above and beyond what most surgeons I have ever dealt with. Calling me to check on me personally as well as e-mailing me to see how things were..that's something most surgeons do not do!! I would recommend him to everyone I know! I know that's who I am going to call when I need my other arm done! He is great!

Of all the doctors I've seen in my life, he is the best I've ever had. The reason beyond all the obvious like he's very professional, friendly and warm, is that he went into a dialogue with me about self-healing and stress-removal and a number of empowering things that feel far more helpful than any pill. We did not even discuss medication and instead just tried to get to the root of the issues I am having. He called me back within an hour with information on the results of one of the tests. From the very beginning, Dr. Hayes was professional, easy going and easy to talk to. I needed a breast augmentation revision due to a ruptured implant from an auto accident I was in 2 years ago. I wanted to find a surgeon who is highly skilled and dedicated to their work and their patient's needs as well as what is best for their own unique body proportions. Dr. Hayes made sure to address any of my concerns and answered all of my questions before and after surgery. His staff was very kind and helpful whenever I called or waited in the lobby for my scheduled appointment. I am absolutely thrilled with my results. Dr. Hayes exceeded my expectations and the procedure was far less painful than I expected in fact, I only had to take ibuprofen for pain for 2 days and was able to resume my usual daily activities (except heavy lifting or strenuous excercise) from the moment I got home from surgery. I'm now 8 days post-op and I barely feel any pain at all. Dr. Hayes is a true artist and perfectionist and was well worth the search and price, which was very reasonable compared to other plastic surgeons I consulted with prior to meeting with him. If anyone needs a recommendation for breast augmentation, I know who is best qualified and can be trusted to do an excellent job. I finally feel like myself again...even better thanks to Dr. Hayes.

Dr. Austin Hayes in Hillsboro, Oregon performed my surgery right there at the surgery center in same building as his office. The whole team was great! Everyone so thoughtful and caring! Right from our first visit he went over and beyond on letting me know everything right up front, he is very detailed about everything. He takes his time answering any and all questions you have, he don't rush through it he makes sure you fully understand everything involved. He is very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. He called me and personally talked to me before scheduling to make sure I fully understood everything ahead of time. He gives you his email and you can email him directly with any questions, he is very prompt on getting back to you. Never makes you feel like your bothering him. Since I live out of town he worked with on the surgery time so I didn't feel rushed. He talked to me and did my prep the morning of surgery. Everything went great turned out just as he said it would. Gave my friend that was with my his cell number in case we needed to get ahold of him during the night after surgery. After my surgery he texted me and called me several times to see how I was doing. I had his cell phone number to call anytime to keep in contact if I had any concerns or questions and to let him know how things were going. I'm so glad I choose DR. AUSTIN HAYES to do my surgery, I don't think you could find a more caring up front doctor than Austin. I'm VERY VERY SATISFIED with how everything went from our first visit to my six week check up. In fact for my six week check up instead of me driving all the way to Hillsboro, Dr. Hayes came to his Hood River office and met me so I didn't have to drive so far. Im very happy with the way my lift and implants look, HE DID A FABULOUS JOB! I would recommend him to anyone thinking about having this surgery, You wont be disappointed!
