Staff was caring however don’t be fooled. Dr. Farm made statements “hereditary condition” “50% guarantee in reduction of area” untrue. After first procedure and waiting over 6mths, they did a second procedure free. Results were THE SAME. Dr. Zawacki was far more aggressive second time and seemed to be angry that it was being repeated. Now the area is lumpy and bumpy and not flat or smooth as they portray. Looks like hills and valleys. Save your money.

I love this place. The nicely appointed office and big treatment room windows are quite pleasant. I have been a patient at Dr Darms for about 3 years. I have had Botox and lip fillers. The wonderful Dr Shurbondy does my injections. He makes it painless and I highly recommend him. He is an artist. My lips are just the right fullness and very attractive. He uses the Botox to lift my eyebrows and get rid of my frown lines. I've had both of these procedures done at other places and it hurt terribly and the outcome was not nearly as good. Saw another Dr. not Dr. Darm which I did not expect for consult. Set up an appointment knew exactly what I wanted. The final schedule was not warm and fuzzy about taking my full payment for $1850.00. Told her my schedule had just changed at work was hoping that the more than 15 day F/U appointment would work since, I just gave them a lot of money for it. I was told that I was the last appt for the day. So when I got home I realized that day would not work I left message for them to call me first thing in am. I called right when they opened. Was going to be scheduled way out of the so I asked for a refund...3-5 working days to get refund of $1850.00. Got a call around 9:30 am from office to F/U on my call..Give me a break..Never saw the Dr. I wanted. It's busy season they tell me..Not the best customer service or care I am wanting..Too bad I would have been a great person for recommendations.. Got a call then an e-mail..This is what I wrote to them: Obviously you never got my message to call..Just read the review I left you. The appointment girl, taking my payment of 1800.00 and the reschedule girls in the office that I meet..Well I would not them to work with my awesome team them in my hospital..Patient care and customer service,,Unbelievable.. Not Cheers, Laya Then this is what I received: Please cease contact with Aesthetic Medicine immediately. Please refrain from contacting anyone here through any means. I've gotten Dysport there twice now and had 2 totally different experiences. The first appointment was supposed to be with Dr. Chabondi (hope I didn't botch his name) but he was out sick and they set me up with Dr. Darm withOUT calling to ask. I was surprised to be greeted by Dr. Darm when I arrived so I asked him where Dr. Chabondi was and he got extremely defensive and told me that he has years of experience with injections and it's his practice, he even said, "my name is on the door"! I was thinking WOW, what a jerk! I wanted to leave right then but I was referred to Chabondi by a friend and had taken my lunch break, driven 30 minutes, etc etc so I said okay, fine. The nurse had to tell Dr. Darm that he was going to inject too much Dysport and that I didn't need THAT much. I was charged $130 and had headaches for a week after starting immediately. My left brow was way higher than my right. It was bad. I wouldn't have went back but I wanted to see Chabondi so I made another appointment only 4 months later. I rescheduled with Dr. Chabondi (I made a point to say multiple times CHABONDI ONLY) and had a completely different experience. He is friendly, quick and NO headaches. They also charged me $99 for the same exact amount of Dysport. If you're going to go there for injections, see Dr. Chabondi. He's awesome just like my friend said!

I visited the offices of Aesthetic Medicine to correct a genetic problem of fat accumulation on my chin and neck. From the moment I entered the office for my consultation I was treated with a high degree of professionalism. The entire staff are friendly, courteous and personable people who concentrate on solving your individual problem. I was impressed to be greeted by Dr. Darm , himself, on my initial visit and have seen him a couple times since. My surgery was performed by Dr. Zawacki, in a clean, highly professional atmosphere under very light anesthesia. Local anesthesia was used to numb the area and liposuction applied to remove the fat. The procedure took less than an hour to perform, and I was released to go home the very same day. Everyone on the staff has been extremely helpful. These people really know what they are doing and prove it daily. Got a concern, or problem, just give them a call and they are there to reassure you, or deal with whatever may come up. The healing process has been quite rapid and nearly pain free. Only slight discomfort over the initial week, or so, like a bruise feels when pressed, but the results are well worth the experience, and easily controlled with over the counter pain relievers. I feel like a new person now, and my self consciousness is all but gone. This has taken nearly 20 years off of my appearance and I highly recommend the procedure, and thank Aesthetic Medicine for giving me a new and better me.

I received an unsolicited mailer and when I called to request to be removed from their mailing list I was hung up on before I even explained why I was calling and then I have been sent to voicemail every time I have called since then!!! I believe I have the right to request to be removed from their mailing list!!!!!! How disrespectful to not even hear my request!!! But, I guess with all the disappointed patient reviews on yelp they are desperate enough to get people through their doors that they don't care to hear my simple request to be removed from their mailing list. (I just started receiving mailers after my last birthday, so I think they target specific age groups... not helping me think they are anything short of a morally bankrupt money mill -- and the yelp reviews just serve to reinforce that impression!!!)

A friend of ours went to Dr. Darm for the same thing and it really helped them too. I have had 1 full series and buying a second one to help complete the treatment series. I went to Dr. Darm's office recently and was thoroughly impressed with their service. They were friendly and helpful when you check in at the front desk. They were on time with the appointment and took me back to the room. There was very little wait time once I was taken back. I talked to the assistant about product options, dosage, and cost. (I decided to try Dysport instead of Botox.. at least this office gave me comparable options. Other offices I have gone to never bothered to suggest other brands that might be a more cost-effective option for me) She was very knowledgable and very down to earth! The Dr came in and was great. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient. He noted the locations for injections and was done in a matter of minutes. I was shocked at how little time it took. The product worked well for me, and overall it was a really great experience! Honestly, this is the type of quality service that seems hard to come by these days. I will definitely go back to their office again, and would not hesitate to suggest others give it a try.

I went in during the summer for a minor procedure and am impressed with the result! The staff was welcoming, and the assistant, Nicole, was especially helpful and caring throughout. The doctor who did the procedure was Dr. Zawacki (not sure of spelling - I couldn't find a staff directory on their site) and her work is excellent. Recommended!

I made an appointment for Botox for migraines and forehead wrinkles with Dr. Jason S., did not see Dr. Darm, but Dr. Darm should know about his staff, and how UNPROFESSIONAL they all are, they are degrading his good name; I had Botox treatment before with Dr. Durham at Soleil Spa, and had great pain free results and my face looked great too, the next day. Very Disappointed with Dr. Darm's Staff.! I had Botox injected into my forehead by Dr. Jason S., and woke up with needle marks all over my forehead, and more wrinkles than I had before; Dr. Jason S. was very superficial; Not what I expected; My face was hideous, I had to miss work! I called to resolve this issue, and asked for a refund, and they made me feel it was my fault; I talked to the Office Administrator, she said I can't give you a refund without looking at your face, and I said of course, she made an appointment, with Dr. Davenport, and then called back and cancelled because I wrote a "Review Us" on Dr. Darm's Website, telling them my HORRIBLE experience, and she said, No Refund, she said, I signed the Consent Form for this result; I signed the Consent Form, but not for the treatment I received. She said "Good Luck" to you and hung up on me: I have never been put through this kind of treatment before; No one should have to go through this! It's unfortunate! They lost my business. And, I don't think they even care, obviously. AVOID THIS OFFICE.

Been a patient since 2008, they have always been 100% professional, on time, and up on the latest in procedures and education of. I've been directly treated by Dr. Darm and find he is professional, relaxed, has a good sense of humor. The office and those that have treated me have never made me feel rushed and have been really patient with all my questions.

I gave the living social deals a try with dysport and botox. 4 out of 5 of my experiences have been awful. The injections hurt more than any treatments I have had before. I also had bruising- which is a risk, but several bruises and i have never experienced this before either. i inquired about their ratio mixture and talked to a friend of mine in dermatology. Apparently mixing 3.5:1 as this clinic does causes too much spread of the agent and can lead to drooping. I had drooping in my brows and actually went back in for correction and paid more for it. No improved results. I guess you get what you pay for. Avoid this place. You won't like the results.

Dr. Darm is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon. I found that quite a surprise because his website seems very deceptive to me. After digging a little deeper I was shocked. While he does not claim to be a plastic surgeon one could easily think that his website says he offers plastic surgery. My advice is STAY AWAY. Get a REAL board certified plastic surgeon.

I had liposuction done on my abs and flanks by Dr. Zawacki on May 24, 2019. The doctor and her two assistants were professional and very helpful. The only surprise for me was the amount of pain when the doctor was injecting the local anesthetic. What was supposed to feel like bee stings was so intense that I had to ask her to stop, twice. The actual suctioning of the fat was no big deal, for me. It looked like Dr. Zawacki was getting a workout though! I’m 3 1/2 weeks post op now and am very pleased with the results. I have a defined waist again and I no longer need to wear “belly blockers” I’m 51 and my only regret was that I waited so long to do the procedure.

Dr.Darm cleared my adult on-set acne with 6 laser treatments. My face was horrible. Like big welts all over my face. When i went in for my consult he told me today was the first day of the beginning of my new life. I broke down in tears. He was right. I get 1 or 2 every now and then but i can handle that. Anyone who rates his scale/review low apparently doesn't grasp the concept of no pain no gain. He truly changed my life. All my friends i recommended to go c him have all raved him excellent. So anyone out there who is skeptical please don't be. He is amazing. I'm planning on seeing hime for more services...not acne related. He is worth the $ and time.

He's very gentle and has a very nice and polite demeanor.....and my results are amazing! Last October I had laser liposuction and I've been thrilled with those results too! It's not inexpensive but it was something that I've always wanted to have done. I had 3 areas treated and have been back several times for the followups. Had several dollars done on my hips, legs, stomach and knees. After 1 1/2 years. I have not lost 1 lb. Look the same. Went back after 7 months to show them. He said we will take a little more on your upper legs and more fat on your stomic. He charged me again in the area I asked them to do. Went back after paying again like a fool. Now after all this time and money I look the same, didn't loose anything weight. Nothing like he says on tv. Wish I could get all that money back and go somwwhere else! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Think twice, go and get a second opinion with someone else, before you pay them a dime, or all that money.

I had been going to Dr. Darm for many, many years to have my Botox done, and Dr. Darm and his staff are the best! the Botox is always perfectly placed and the result is exactly what I want, I am frozen between my eyes. Dr Darm and any of the other professionals that have injected my Botox are extremely good and also very friendly. He usually runs Botox specials and I hold out for these. in the 2 last years I have moved out of state and living in Phoenix, I have gone to 2 different Botox places and I have never got the same results as I did at Aesthetic Medicine, I have way too much movement still and the crease between my eyes is still there. I go see Dr. Darm for the same amount of Botox injected, and my crease is gone! So, when I come back to the Portland area to visit family or for my job I always try and schedule my Botox appointments so I can go to Aesthetic Medicine, they truly are the best!

I went to see dr. darm several years ago for a tummy tuck and was very satisfied which helped me to decide how I would handle my sagging (and I mean sagging) arms. I visited them and set up my procedure for some conturing and my arms. Everyone was very professional and helped me with all my questions and preparation for the surgery. My Dr. was very helpful after the procedure when I was a little alarmed about swelling. I called emgerency service and he got to me immediately and saw me the next day when he was in the office to set my mind at ease. All in all my experience was very helpful, I did have some frustrating times, but that was only due to my eagerness to get back doing everything, I wanted the procedure one day and out raking the lawn the next, not a good idea. Thanks everyone at Dr.Darm for your help in making me feel so much better about myself. I actually looked in my full length mirror and said to myself, NOT BAD for a 7l yr. old.

Don't go here!!!I had been going to Dr Darm for 5 years, spent thousands of dollars. I got a bad facial someplace else and went to Dr Darm for help in restoring my face to the condition it was in prior to bad service. After all he had been my skin care specialist for 5 years. We had a consult and he outlined a treatment plan. I was to call and schedule my 1st treatment within the week. When I called I was told that the office manager would call me back. I thought that was weird. Her name is Dawn and she called me back. She told me that they would no longer be seeing me as a client for any reason, ever. I was stunned. The place that i had trusted with all of my skin care needs just dropped me without a second thought. They don't really care about their clients they just want quick easy money. After consulting with a real skin care facility I was made apparent that the lasers Dr Darm has are out dated and ineffective. Don't go here.

Only 3 out of 5 stars,I am afraid to say! I have given it 9 months and although my stomach is better there is no improvement to my back fat, which I did ask at the time of the procedure that I wanted it taken care of. I didn't bother to go back for the last follow up appointment, as I. Really hate the hassle of complaining!!. I have lost more weight since and go to the gym 4-5 times a week. It is a shame I can't afford to get the procedure done again as I am really dissapointed. I paid in full too.

Awful. A real farce as far as using Living Social goes. Everything screams advertising and hawking treatments you're not there for. After admit had 30 minute sales pitch for Laser Lift, financing info included (in case you can't afford it). Microdermabrasion was probably about 5-6 minutes; the bulk of it was washing, mask and moisturizer. After already having lengthy explanation about Laser Lift they sent a doctor in to repeat the explanation of how their lasers work. Same guy did my Botox. I'd never had as much (mid brow lift, frown on forehead) I asked him to show me where he'd be injecting on a picture of facial musculature they had right in front of where I was seated (as if it were in fact supposed to be instructional). He was clearly irritated, did it fast and w/ some condescension. Hurt more than any other Botox I've had. The lobby has 2 TVs that are just rolling commercials for their services. The display cases show their skin care products but also highlight what look like awards of recognition but are actually just thank you certificates from their business partners (Skin Medica etc). It was unreal. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Just hype and hustle...

I had my very 1st appointment with Dr. Darms office on April 1, 2014. I had restalyne injected into my lips and a few mouth wrinkles and had dysport rather then botox injections on my forehead and crows feet. My only complaint was I felt I needed more in my lips, so 2 weeks after my injections I went back in and was very happy with my results, both times the DR. was kind, and helpful and listened to my concerns, I will possibly be going there in the near future for breast augmentation as well. I did have a lot of swelling for first 2 days, and a little bruising however I chalk it up to that happens when injection things into you face. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND GOING BACK SOON TO DO LIPS AND DYSPORT AGAIN...
