The staff do not answer promptly, I was trying to get a friend an appointment and the wait was over ta moth, finally, when the time came , the whole atmosphere was not comfortable ,we waited over an hour. The nurse smelled cigarettes and Dr Baker crippled the exam. We were not given a chance to get answers for the situation . We went to another place for treatment.

I was VERY VERY VERY disappointed in my visit. I came due to a referral from my primary care. My primary saw me and confirmed I had a hemorrhoid that needed surgical removal. I made an appt with Dr Randal Baker for this surgery. That morning of my appt I checked in. I even called my husband to come from work so he could drive me after the surgery. The wait time was short - I was called back by the nurse fairly quickly. Everything after this was a disaster. I waited 45 mins in the patient room before I even met Dr Baker. First, he introduced himself and found out why I was there. He told me to change into a gown and said he would be right back. 30 more mins later he says he will examine me. Without even doing rectal exam, he informed that I don’t have a hemorrhoid, I only have a skin tag. I even told him how much it hurt me and how it bleeds when I pass a bowel movement. He then did a rectal exam and said that there is no way to tell if you have internal hemorrhoid so just come back again if I feel it. I was so confused because I thought it was established that I was there for hemorrhoid surgery. Regardless, he convinced me not to have surgery by putting fear into me about the long and painful recovery. His advice to me was to drink Fiber Supplements for the rest of my life..... To this day (2 months later) I am having the worst time because the hemorrhoid is getting bigger and I can’t even pass a normal bowel movement. I really hope Dr Baker’s career doesn’t last very long as he doesn’t care about the patient - he just wants to make as much money off of us as possible. I will be filing a insurance claim because this was a waste of mine and my husbands time! Your company should really some quality assurance on your doctors....

Hats off to the mercy outpatient surgery crew!!! Everyone were more than helpful and did all they could to make sure we were taken care of. Dr. Elizabeth Hooper is great!!! Would recommend her to anyone!!! Thanks to all so much!!!
