Surgery is a very risky procedure and I trust Dr. Jones. I had a medical complication the first time around and had to stop surgery midway. The second time around, after six weeks, he performed my surgery and was able to successfully complete the procedure. Dr. Jones did an amazing job on my mini tummy tuck at Sono Bello. Dr. Jones did an amazing job with my incision and did it in a way that no one can tell I had a tummy tuck. As an Asian Indian woman my skin is darker and scars usually can turn ugly but Dr. Jones is an artist and I am not having an complications with my scar and it is healing beautifully. He cares about his patients so much. My surgery was 7 hours long and he didn’t eat OR drink anything because he was extremely focused and careful with my surgery. Words can’t even express how thankful I am for this artist. Dr. Jones, may God bless you. I know if I need any future procedures done I will come to you. It’s nice to have amazing plastic surgeons here in Oklahoma City rather than having to fly out to Beverly Hills. Dr. Jones even called me the evening after my surgery to follow up with me and make sure I was ok. I’m disappointed with some of the reviews I saw on here. Don’t trust the negative comments. People need to realize it’s not about people skills that makes a good doctor, it’s about the work they do and how smart they are.

Dr. Jones is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. When we talked about my issue, he explained a very complicated procedure and showed me how it would work. He treated me like family when he made his recommendations. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Dr. Jones.

THE 5 STAR REVIEW IS FAKE!!! MINE ISN'T PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONSIDER THIS OFFICE!!! Aletha Ruth Has 9 Reviews and They are all for physicians and wrote at the same time! Look at the profile! I have severe sleep apnea that I desperately need treated. I have been intolerant to a CPAP because of issues with my facial structure. I met with Dr. Jones who seemed to be a great Doctor at the time. He found several issues that I need addressed so I can hopefully use a CPAP and fall asleep without choking and from there sleep peacefully through the night. This is so important for me to get done. I struggle to stay awake through my work day and my family suffers because of my tiredness. The problem I ran into is the office staff doesn't even pretend to care about your medical needs. It has taken over A MONTH and my authorization for surgery is not done. I am not able to get a hold of office staff regularly. I have called probably 30 times and I have always been kind and respectful but the phone has only been answered at most 10 times and by an answering service. Only 1 time have I actually spoken to Dr. Jones office staff and there is no direct line to them. Every time I talk to someone at the answering service they say they will get answers and call me back. I have only ever received one return phone call and that was because I told the woman they have never called back and to please really call me back I need to get this done it is so important to my health, so she actually called back and told me what I needed to do. I did what was needed. That was Friday last week. It's Tuesday afternoon now. I called twice yesterday and twice today to tell them I have done what they asked, no answer. The last call I left a message saying if I don't hear from them and this isn't done by the end of the week I will go back to my PC physician and go somewhere else because that's what my PC told me to do and finally they called back. I have waited for this authorization (just the authorization) since May 21st and it is now June 25th. Every authorization I've needed in the past has taken only a day or two. My biggest concern is what if I need to get a hold of Dr. Jones in the event of a complication post op? Good luck. Update: I originally wrote that review June 25th and deleted it because I felt bad for leaving it but I shouldn't have. The authorization was put in upon leaving that review... Finally. And the office actually called me the Following Monday July 1st and told me they wanted to know my schedule so they could set a date for surgery, but I never heard from them again. I called but only got the answering service and they always just said that they will have Dr Jones office get back to me. All this has made me very uneasy so I decided to do my own research on Dr Jones and did not like what I saw at all. So today I called my primary care Dr and he will be choosing my next surgeon. I called Dr Jones office to inform them and wouldn't you know, they finally answered the phone. Reply to Jones Dr. Jones, you are full of malarkey. The authorization was never submitted by your office for an entire month. I can see everything on the Humana website the minute Tricare receives a request and what stage of approval it's in. Also, my when the office finally did it and told me it was denied because I needed the referral from my PCP it was done that very day and your incompetent staff never re-submitted. I literally had, not the submission, but the APPROVAL, the same day from the PCP. And my new surgeon, who actually has good standing on the internet and positive reviews that are real, had my approval done the day after my first appt and went way out of his way to help me meet my deadline, all because you dropped the ball. Don't spin lies you snake.

Updated Review: I went in (based on a referral from the doctor at the base where we are stationed) solely to have a basal cell carcinoma spot removed from my shoulder. The nurse at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. I did not have a great experience with Dr. Jones. While I fully understand the need for a full body scan for someone who has skin cancer, I did not like feeling pressed after explicitly saying that I did not need it as I was planning on going to a dermatologist for that reason. I hope that my initial review serves as a reminder of the importance of being keenly aware of how the patient is feeling and listening to what they are saying. Having a member of the same gender present (a nurse) while discussing things like a full body scan and checking (even when fully clothed) for further cancer spots goes a long way in creating a safe environment and making things more comfortable (less awkward). This is my strongest suggestion for the practice. However, I have updated my review and rating based on receiving a sincere apology from Dr. Jones in response to my review. I sincerely appreciate the apology and the professionalism demonstrated in his response. His response has genuinely aided in elevating my overall opinion toward him as a health care provider.
