Dr Buendia does not care about his patient as he claims. He perform the gallbladder surgery on me on December 7th 2015. I had a post surgery appontment for December 22. I took the day off but his office called and cancelled the appointmnet because he was going on vacation. I was concern but due to Christmas Spirit I did not say anything. He rescheduled it for Jan 13, 2016. Unfortunately, I was 15 minutes late because there was a accident and had traffic. His office cancelled my appointment when I arrived there. I told them, I can wait if he can see me for few minutes because I have taken the whole day off. First his nurse said that he had a surgery scheduled right after my appointment. On insisting to see him, the Office manager called me in her office and said he has 4 patients lined up and cannot see me. She threatened me to call security if I dont leave the office. I am college graduate and a business man and own several real estates properties. I own full insurance and no one has ever spoke to me like that. I am willing to take this issue to highest authority, social media and I will take all possible step to make Doctor Buendia understand that It is not ok that you can make patient wait in lobby for hours and cancell the appointment with a few days notice but if patient is late for 15minutes, you cannot make any exception.

I had hernia repair on May 24, 2016. He was very informative before and after my surgery. Answered all my questions. Appt at mercy hosp location not a long wait for appt. For my follow up (post op) had a wait that was at Edmond location. Would go back for any future surgeries if I had to have another.

He paid special attention to detail and made it his primary goal to support my recovery with his dynamic precision and technological skills. I still can't see a scar. I appreciate his supporting cast (staff) as they stay current in the medical field and Dr. Buendia for being a doctor who performs at an amazing pace, delivering the best care and attentive follow up with the patient's experience at the forefront.
