I had recommendations to see Dr. Donath by some of my friends who had "work" done. My research showed Dr. Donath to be the premier facial plastic surgeon in the area with an international reputation. His results were the best that could be imagined. The ladies at the front of the house were so welcoming. When I scheduled my consult for a facelift, I wasn't sure what I wanted or needed. I never felt intimidated. Then I met with Jeni, who kindly explained all the options for me. Doctor Donath spent time with me showing me what my face would look like and gave me a realistic but amazing expectation. All the instructions for surgery were laid out clearly. I was able to have surgery right there at their surgery center in the office! I can't say I remember much about the day of surgery except that I was not uncomfortable. My results for a lower face lift were amazing. I wanted to look natural and refreshed and my goals are more than achieved. I added the upper and lower eyelids to the mix. Now I go to the office for additional procedures to maintain my appearance because I feel comfortable and I like everyone who works there. I have had BBL and Clear and Brilliant as well as fillers and Botox and Hydrofacials. People say I look younger and I look as good as I feel. Best money I ever spent.

When I was a kid, I had a terrible bite and a retruded jaw. Unfortunately, at that time, my parents didn't have the funds to fix the issue. Fast forward 30 years and I finally decided to take the plunge and go into adult braces. Even though my orthodontic case was way beyond just braces and required major surgery to correct (cutting jawbone, cutting the palate, screws, mouth wired shut), I elected to try it non-surgically first in order to correct my bite. Thinking I could probably just add a better profile/jawline later if needed; and that's just what I did. I timed my chin implant a day after my braces were removed and took about a week off work to do some healing. After a couple more weeks of healing, I met my best girlfriend of 30 years out for a drink. She only noticed my braces being gone and kept commenting about how great I looked. (I hadn't told her that I was doing the surgery, wanted to surprise her). When I finally told her about the surgery, she couldn't believe how natural it looked. She was shocked because I still looked like me, only better, but couldn't exactly put her finger on what it was! I wish I could give Dr Donath and his staff 10 stars instead of the customary 5. Not only is he a super skilled surgeon, he's just an overall great person! No huge "surgeon's ego" and his staff is lovely. He called to check on me after surgery and when the antibiotic I was taking didn't agree with me, he called another one in right away. He and his staff get back to you quickly with concerns or questions. They even sent me flowers after the surgery! He is realistic with your expectations and takes the time to really listen to your questions and explain procedures. If you're looking for that crazy, tight-faced look, go to Hollywood. If you're looking for a natural, improved version of yourself, see Dr. Donath.

I have experienced consultations with other cosmetic practitioners in the area, and I believe Dr. Donath is by far the most professional and the best specific to facial procedures. He truly listens and will treat specific to just what the patient is looking to improve or remedy. While other practices incorporate the upselling of products and unnecessary treatments/ procedures, you will not experience this here. I can also say that I have only experienced the same level of professionalism from all of his staff members. I am also a loyal customer to his affiliated salon, Salon Luxe, and can only say that both the practice and salon are by far the BEST in Cincinnati. First class and very distinguished setting as well as service!

I do my homework and I do not mind traveling to the best doctors. I am from Cincinnati and I flew to Beverly Hills to have a procedure other than the face. I’ve had nothing but great experiences every time I have had treatments done here. I’ve seen the nurses and nurse practitioners for Botox, fillers, and laser treatments - they’re all wonderful and highly skilled in what they do! The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice!
