I went to three different consults before ultimately choosing Dr Gear. From the very beginning I was so comfortable at Providence Plastic Surgery . Something as simple as Dr Gear coming in to meet me before I had to get undressed was so appreciated and something other surgeons didn't have the courtesy to do. Kirsten was so kind and accommodating through the whole consultation and booking process . All the staff that I met were so kind and hospitable . I had my surgery on May 16 and Emily, the surgery RN, was right by my side and made me feel so comfortable . Dr Gear is a great doctor and he really cares about his patients .He takes the time to look at you and get to know you as an individual .I'm so happy with my decision to choose Dr Gear and PPS! Its been 3 days since I had filler (voluma) placed by Courtney. I have to admit I went in nervous as I am a former client of Blaire’s and didn’t know if I would be getting the same expertise in care. So happy to report that not only was Courtney fantastic, she was extremely informative, careful about every step of the procedure from prepping me to finish, my results are probably the best I have ever had. I am symmetric and not overly filled, and still very natural looking. All that and Courtney is warm and friendly. Thanks also to the super efficient and pleasant front desk team. So pleased!

I called Providence Plastic Surgery and the receptionist, Brandon, was extremely helpful and suggested a "Providence facial" and consultation with one of their aestheticians. My appointment was a few days ago and I already can see and feel the difference! I will be returning in 4 weeks to have it done again.

I had 3 laser treatments done for hair removal from my several areas of my body. Faye is AWESOME! Very caring, gentle and considerate. She treated me for the 2nd appt and I personally requested her for the 3rd appt. Although I had purchased 3 - 1 hr appts, I thought the technician at the 1st appt. seemed rushed and did not let me catch my breath. Ok, I understand the 1st treatment would be more painful (as there is more hair to remove), but I certainly felt the comfort of Faye's patience and gentle, compassionate timing during the 2nd appt; which is why I requested her to perform my 3rd treatment. I'm so glad I did. She did not rush the appointments, and both (the 2nd and 3rd appts.) were completed well under the 1 hour I had paid for. I can see the results of the treatments, so I know they are effective. If you go there, ask for Faye, you won't regret it. And yes, I would recommend you use Providence Plastic Surgery for you hair removal needs. All the people there are very professional.

I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal and could not have been more pleased with my experience. There was consistency through my experience which was nice, Faye performed each and every one of my services. Scheduling was a breeze and they send you a text reminder. Faye and the rest of the staff I interacted with were professional and very personable. The office is sparkling clean and very welcoming. The package was for 6 sessions and I have seen great results. If I had any other beauty needs this is the first place I would start!

I am completely disappointed and upset by my most recent experience with Providence Plastic Surgery. I have to say, it by far, was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced from a medical service provider in my life. I arrived for my two week follow-up appointment and stopped at the front desk to check in. The receptionist asks me for my name, and looks me up in the computer - "Oh" with a long pause, "I guess you never got the email", she says, and continues to tell me the PA I was originally scheduled with has left the practice, and PPS had sent an email to everyone to call in and re-book their appointment with the new PA. I told her I never received the email, however, I did receive a text confirmation (in which I responded yes) two days ago confirming my appointment for today - so I'm confused. She then tells me that are unable to stop text confirmations, and it was out of her control?!?! Which I found odd, considering they are the ones who send them out. My next question to the receptionist, was why they wouldn't have called me directly to notify me of the scheduling conflicts? One would think that would have been their first choice? Her response blew me away, "Well that would mean we would have to call everyone, and that PA was booked all the way until June!" I couldn't believe it, wow, what an inconvenience for a receptionist to follow-up with customers! I mean that is your J-O-B! Completely and totally utterly ridiculous. To top it off, she didn't even try to see if I wanted to re-schedule or book me for another time! I am a very reasonable person and I understand that things happen. I wasn't upset about the scheduling issue, I was upset by the lack of consideration for my time and their inability to follow-up with customers. Who cancels appointments via email?! Completely unprofessional, a total lack of consideration and entirely thoughtless. What an unfortunate outcome for something that could have been completely avoided.

What could you not love about this place? I was looking for a new place to closer to my house to get my Botox.Everyone is super friendly. The place is beautiful and clean. They were able to squeeze me in for an appt before I went out of town. I saw Courtney. I found my new place!

From start to finish I felt like Dr. Gear and his staff always have your very best interest at heart. I had a few surgical procedures done here. Dr. Gear is absolutely amazing! I truly feel that he is the best plastic surgeon in the area. His nurse Emily makes the process less stressful and always ensured that all my concerns were addressed. Another staff member that has been extremely accommodating throughout the process is Kirsten. She always listened to my needs and provided knowledgeable and pertinent feedback which has always been very helpful. Been going here for over a year now. Bought 2 large area packages on Groupon... i noticed somewhat of a difference after the first 3 sessions.... but as time went on the hair started coming back.... they suggested it’s bc I have lighter color hair (which the areas I got removal on is black) and may need a few extra sessions... Thinking I was coming for my last session, that was already paid for... the place moved locations making me 10 mins late when I figured out they were no longer at the same address. They wouldn’t see me. I told them that I went through hell just to get here that day. I had to borrow someone else’s car and leave work (an hour away) just to come. Not only that but it’s not my fault they moved locations!!!! Whatever. I rescheduled. Now I am here (took ANOTHER day off work) 2 weeks later.... Sitting in the waiting room for 10 minutes... and they tell me that it’s going to be $150 or a package for $850!!!!!! If I needed to pay something, don’t u think you should have told me that when I scheduled the appointment?!? You can’t even tell I have laser hair removal at this point!!!!!!! You mean to tell me after 7 sessions I prepaid for.... i still have hair. Don’t buy laser hair removal unless they will treat you until it’s actually removed. Otherwise it’s a waste of $1,000.

This was probably one of the best, if not the best, experience I have had in a long time. I came to see Alex Redecker (Medical Aesthetician) to discuss some possibilities to improve my skin in general. Our session lasted for 2 hours and she gave me the most detailed, clear, fantastic explanation I have ever had on skin care. Worst BBL ever he doesn't shape your body to make it look better! You leave with the same shape and fat that you came with even after healing. It looks like he just put put incisions on your body to make it look like something was done. Stick with the Dominican and foreign doctors ladies. This doctor will take your money!

Kirsten, the surgery coordinator, keeps in touch and follows-up to keep things streamlined and answer any questions. Love the office and the staff! I’ve been getting laser hair removal here and it has been awesome! Charity has amazing positive energy and they have the latest in laser technology. This is important because it can take much longer to remove hair with many treatments if the laser is older. Here the staff knows you by name and treats you wonderful. Did I mention the adorable office? Decor is mid-century modern and positive energy comes bursting out of the doors! Love every bit of my experience and I highly recommend!
