I had elective breast uplift surgery with no implants. Unfortunately, the n ipples were placed so high that it is difficult to wear most shirts, bras, bathing suites, etc.I should have done more research and asked for before and after pictures AND I should have gotten a second opinion before proceeding with this doctor. When I asked about the unusually high placement of the n ipples during a post-surgery visit, the doctor was dismissive and stated I needed more time to heal. My breasts are now deformed and with have learned that corrective surgery will cost thousands and lead to more scars. Do your research, ask questions and don't be rushed in making this important decision. Ask for photos of the surgeons work. If the surgeon seems irritated by questions and the request for photos don't be intimidated. I regret not being more diligent everyday as I struggle to find bras and clothing. I am devastated every time I look in the mirror.

As the adult child of a mother who lives some distance away from me, I was heart broken to hear of the care (or lack there of) my mother received from Dr. Thimmappa. In my mother's first encounter with Dr. T, she was refused the care that her primary surgeon has requested and that she had been receiving from the wound care center for over a year. Dr. T did not listen to my mother (the patient), but changed the treatment plan without any notice, sending my mother home with an open wound. Regardless of the future treatment plan that the doctor had in mind, my mother should have never been sent home without the care she was scheduled to receive. Unacceptable treatment of a patient by any physician. I encourage you to seek treatment else where.

Most importantly, I didn’t feel pressured or overwhelmed by all that is available cosmetically or surgically. Dr. Thimmappa was great. She explained everything she was going to do before the surgery. Answered all questions. During the procedure she was funny talked to me to make sure I was calm. She is very friendly. She explained exactly what would happen to me after surgery and what I may look like so I knew what to expect. Follow up was easy and her work was excellent.
