Dr A repaired a wound on my forehead after a Mohs surgery to remove a Basal cell skin cancer. He and his staff were very efficient, but also kind and caring. I could not be happier with the resulting small scar. It is minimal and healing very quickly. Dr A has a pleasant bedside manner and I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

The staff at Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte are absolutely wonderful! Dr. Augenstein's support staff made me feel so comfortable and cared for. Jane, Evelyn, and Britney are super-accommodating and helpful and they genuinely want their patients to have a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a smaller, more personal-feeling experience, as opposed to a large, volume-based practice, you really need to go see them! I had my lip filler done and couldn't be happier...and I will be going back to have some serious body work done when I'm ready. Also, if you are shopping around for quotes, I found a huge price difference in the numbers I had been give at a different practice. I highly recommend this practice!

I recently had a procedure performed by Dr. A this July and I honestly couldn't be happier with the way I was treated as well as my results. I am new to the area so I was not sure where to go so I called around a spoke to a couple different places and everyone at Aesthetic surgery were all so kind to me. They were more than happy to answer all of my questions before I even had my consultation. To top it all off I was very limited on my time frame between my consultation to my surgery due to relocating down to Charlotte. I only had one day that I was able to make it in for my consultation and they were able to work with me and fit me in. Everything went perfectly with my surgery however I ran into one complication a couple days after. I had a reaction to the prep wipes they use to clean the skin before surgery and I broke out with an itchy rash. Before the surgery Dr. A gave me his personal cell phone number to contact him if I had any concerns and needed to get a hold of him. I sent him a message with a picture of the rash. He responded with in 5 minutes of sending the message and addressed the issue immediately and followed up multiple times just to make sure I was doing okay. I highly recommend Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte to anyone looking to get any procedure done. Everyone there is extremely genuine and is looking out for what will be best for you.

From my first appointment with Dr. Augenstein (for breast augmentation) and his staff at Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte, to my surgery 8 months later, and follow up appointments months later, I can say I am truly happy with my experience. As I was in and out of the country, his office did a great job at staying in touch with me and providing me options to communicate with Dr. A and answer any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. I was able to arrange everything (successfully) remotely, organize prescriptions and the day of the surgery went very smoothly. Each time I saw Dr. A he was always calm, welcoming and friendly and truly made me feel like my needs, wants, and concerns around my surgery mattered and were heard. He was patient with my decision process and provided good support and knowledge answering my questions, to help me make my decisions. I never felt pressured. He provided good support post surgery and made it easy to communicate and always followed up which made me feel in good hands. I love Dr. A. He is the greatest doctor with the best personality and bedside manner. He is someone who has your best interest at heart. You can tell even with the first consultation with him that he cares not only about you, but so much or what he does. He spends time with you that other doctors seem to not have. He wants to make sure that you look good, that the price is right for you, and most of all, that you are happy. If you're not happy, he's not happy. He won't let anyone be unsatisfied. He will do whatever he can to make sure that his patients walk out feeling and looking good. His entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and patient. I had the most positive experience here and I can't say enough about it!

Dr. Augenstein did my tummy tuck and I am thrilled with the results. I had a big flabby pouch and no amount of dieting or exercise took it away, you know the mushy kind. Anyway, I look great and feel better. I can wear clothes I have not been able to wear ever because I do not have a stomach. So slinky sexy clothes look great. Even swim suits look good. Go as fast as you can to see this amazing Dr. My husband had a fatty tumor removed from his back. This sucker was the size of a tennis ball and his scar is minimal and looks good.

I've been struggling with abdominal muscle issues and back pain for years as a result diastasis recti and hernia. After two pregnancies things have gotten much worst so I spoke with a general surgeon who recommended outpatient repair of the diastasis. I called a number of practices over the past year but my fear of major surgery prevented me from moving forward and none of them put me at ease. But today for the first time I called Aesthetic Surgery of Charlotte and spoke with an angel. Her name is Terri who is one of the patient care coordinators. Almost immediately my fear turned into relief and excitement after she shared her experience with having her own diastasis repaired years ago. I have a consult scheduled with Dr. Augenstein next week & for the first time I'm hopeful and excited about finally taking care of this once and for all. Will make an updated review after surgery.

If I could give more stars I would!!!!! Dr. A and his staff are hands down the absolute best. I interviewed many doctors in the area for my tummy tuck and chose Dr A b/c he really took the time to listen to what I wanted and really paid attention to detail. From start to finish he AND his staff went above and beyond. I never felt rushed through my appointments, he spent over an hour with me during my consultation going over all my wants and they were always available post surgery for questions, nights/weekends whenever. The ladies who work there are extremely kind, patient and attentive and My results are beyond anytning I could’ve expected and I really couldn’t be happier with my choice to go with Dr. A. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

Ever ask your nurse or doctor friend who they would recommend? Maybe you have wondered who operating room staff would go to for their plastic surgery procedure? It is Dr. Augenstein. I worked with a plastic surgeon a decade ago who educated me on what to look for in a surgeon if I ever felt the need for a "mommy makeover" after I was done having children. 10 years and 3 children later I decided it was time. As a physician myself, I have quietly watched the work of many plastic surgeons here in Charlotte and during my training, residency and fellowship in 2 other states waiting to meet one that would measure up to standard I was told years ago. It was with Dr. Augenstein that I found a match. What is the standard? For me it was Board Certification in Plastic Surgery, excellent surgical skill, deep medical knowledge and great bedside manner. He actually exceeds this standard. On my initial visit I told him about a friend who was going through personal difficulty. He has asked about her every time I have seen him after and went out of his way to help a women he had never met. I have seen him with his other patients and he genuinely has a deep caring for them personally and wants them to be happy with themselves and their results. During the consultation I inquired about Cool Sculpting he was honest and didn't up sell me on a procedure I didn't need. Fast forward to the procedure and my results. One of the other reasons I chose him was that he uses a Board Certified Anesthesiologist to oversee the anesthesia to provide his patients with the best care. I was EXTREMELY nervous the day of the procedure and he and the anesthesia team took incredible care of me. He and the anesthesiologists he uses practice multi-modal anesthesia to limit the amount of discomfort and nausea I had after the procedure. I felt so great after my tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation that I could have gone back to work after 4-5 days of rest! His office is immaculate and his office staff are top notch. I can go on and on and on. In fact, I would be willing to talk to you personally if you had any reservations about having the procedure I had or who to choose. Dr. Adam Augenstein is the most compassionate and caring surgeon I have encountered. He put me at ease when I met him during my consolation, and I appreciated his honestly about the procedure I had chosen. When I asked for more surgery, he shared that he didn’t recommend it. He never rushed me during my appointments, and I felt I had his full attention. I always left his office knowing my care was in the best hands. I have met many cold and uncongenial doctors and surgeons during my lifetime, and I have consistently been astounded by how approachable Dr. Augenstein is. Not only has been Dr. Augenstein kind and compassionate to me, but he has also extended the same courtesy to members of my family, nurses in the hospital, and his office staff members. While I was admitted in the hospital after my surgery, my attending nurse called Dr. Augenstein at approximately midnight to ask about my care. When she disconnected the call, she told me and other nurses how gracious Dr. Augenstein had been to her. His staff members reflect the same cordiality, and his office is warm and welcoming. I’m thrilled with the results of my procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Augenstein, not only for his surgical skills, but also for his compassionate bedside manner.
