Extremely unhelpful office staff, my dealings were with Abby, delay in responding to email inquiries and insisting on photocopy of Insurance card prior to even engaging in a telephone conversation. This seems to be an enterprise operating on the basis of pure business goals with very little interest in the medical aspects/concerns of the patient. The quote I received for the procedure was between 50-75% more expensive than other equally regarded ENT surgeons. Very negative initial experience with this practice.

This guy collapsed my nasal valve which led to 4 additional surgeries. His sales tactics are manipulative and he appeared bothered and inattentive with every interaction I had with him. Having him operate on me was a major mistake. I would highly recommend not believing the positive reviews because my gut feeling is that most of them are false.

Went in for a rhinoplasty revision last November because i had a rhinoplasty years ago with a fraudulent doctor and Dr. Phillip fixed the damage that the initial doctor caused my nose. To preface, I am leaving this review under an old account name as I would like privacy. I went to Dr. Miller when I was 16 years old seeking a primary rhinoplasty. After doing some research, and being quite impressed with his credentials and the numerous media outlets he has had affiliations with, my mom and I booked a consultation. The consultation was surprisingly swift, including a computer image of how my nose would look after the surgery. Dr. Miller was kind and attentive to our questions and we booked the surgery shortly thereafter. The next time that I would meet with the Dr. would be the day of the surgery. Fast forward to surgery day, I briefly talked with the Dr. and then the procedure occurred. After this day, I would never see Dr. Miller again. When I went I back into the city to have my cast removed, a different doctor who I had never met before removed my cast. I found it peculiar how Dr. Miller was not there to make sure that I was satisfied with my results. When the cast was removed, I immediately went to the bathroom to see my new nose for the first time. To my surprise, I was slightly disappointed. I found the nose to be much larger than I expected. However, the doctor who removed the cast assured me that I was swollen and the nose I was looking at was not my final product. After months, the swelling indeed resided but the nose was still large. I went to Dr. Miller to remove the bump on my nose and to give me a smaller, more feminine nose. With that said, all the Dr. did was remove the bump, while leaving the shape of the nose completely untouched. Furthermore, my mother had reached out to him many times following my procedure to ask why the nose was so large and he just reiterated that it was swelling and never asked for me to come back into the office for him to see. Currently, my nose can be described as a ski slope nose. It is completely straight, but dips down at the tip (especially when I smile). It is also too large for my face still, which is one of the main reasons that I went to Dr. Miller in the first place. Most importantly, for me to be able to properly breathe, I must gently place my finger on the tip of my nose and lift up. The procedure that was performed on my nose was a quick job for the doctor and failed to take into consideration the financial sacrifices that my family took for me to feel better about myself. For this foremost reason, I am incredibly disappointed with this doctor. Due to my experience with Dr. Miller, I am now seeking a revision rhinoplasty procedure. I typically do not like to write reviews for services that I have not had good experiences with, but when it comes to a facial surgery, I felt it would be a disservice to others for me to not share my experience.

Dr. Miller is very understanding and knowledgeable. He cares about his patients. I had horrible Keloids and I've had them since I was 14. I lived at the dermatologist office. Finally, I decided to try Dr. Miller and he made it all better. I couldn't show off my back but now I'm so much more confident and happier with my results. I would recommend him to everyone! He's great!

First of all I was extremely impressed with the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The office seems extremely well organized and the employees seem very happy and take pride in their jobs. Kelly was very welcoming and treated with me caring and kindness and quelled any apprehension i had about the procedure. i have had similar types of procedures in the past which were not a pleasant expeience, however, when Dr. Miller is so deft that I hardly realized the procedure had begun before it was over. His injections caused no bruising and no pain after the numbing agent wore off and there was no unsightly swelling or injection marks. I had a conpletely normal appearance. 2 days after being injected with Volbella I have volume in my lips with no lines around my mouth. I feel i look age appropriate. i would recommend Dr. Miller unreservedly.

Terrible rhinoplasty, had my procededure done in Dec 2010. Very unprofessional. Was scheduled 700am on a weekday..doctor didn't show on time and door was locked..was stuck waiting outside in frigid temperatures on the streets of new york for 20 min. His work is shabby at best. Took him 30 min when it should have taken him 90min. Horrible Results, left side of the nose collapsed. Positive is staff is very nice and friendly. Doesn't matter because the doctor is horrible.

And that's the quality of his staff as well. For any procedure that requires post-op care in the first night or two, I would highly, highly recommend the services of Edina Osmani, who is a director of patient services in Dr. Miller's office. Edina stayed with me the first night, and no partner or friend could have been as adept and reassuring as her in handling my care. Edina was extremely compassionate and dedicated to my comfort level; from constantly rearranging pillows and applying ice packs to helping me manage discomfort and answering questions and easing anxieties. She is extremely vigilant and a perfectionist, but with a very gentle way about her. It would have been very tough and unsettling to have spent that first night without the quality of her care, attention and knowledge, especially as I was totally new to the post-op experience.

I walked into Dr. Millers office a very different person than when I walked out of my last follow- up appointment, a year and a half after my rhinoplasty. I grew up hating the way I looked. I couldn't be in a room of people, or see my image in photos or videos without cringing and feeling like sinking into the floor. What if everyone else was thinking what I was thinking? What if they also knew the truth: that I was, in fact, ugly. The thing is, no one thought that. But there it was in my head, and no matter how much emotional homework I did made it go away. So one day, well into my adult life, I decided to finally do something about it. I was so nervous and vulnerable walking into his office for my consultation, if you looked at me I felt like I would burst into tears. This was the first time, outside of my parents, that I was going to admit this horrible truth to anyone. I say all this, because it is very important to trust the surgeon you choose to alter your face forever. I knew that once I fell asleep on that operating table, it was out of my hands, and I would wake up with a different face than the one I had looked at for 31 years. His staff are kind and courteous people who I never once felt like judged me. When Dr. Miller came into my consultation, he listened to what I had to say, and took a considerable amount of time to study my entire face and work out with me what could be done, being very honest about managed expectations. I had looked at portfolios of every NYC plastic surgeon I could find, and Dr. Miller's work was the most natural by far. He is like any great artist, and works with each person as an individual, rather than sculpting the same shape on everyone. No one, unless told, can immediately tell I have had work done. I just look like a beautiful version of myself, and feel like I look like how I always imagined I would with the adjustments I wanted. I walked into the office full of anxiety after a MOHS procedure to remove skin cancer which left a large hole in my upper lip. I had no idea the little scar that wouldn't heal on my face, after an infection due to a threading cut, was just the tip of an iceberg of cancer. The derms diagnosed it as "a scar that won't heal" injecting it with steroids. They neglected to inform me that a scar that doesn't heal is abnormal cell growth which can lead into cancer due to the tissue abnormality and increased exposure to the sun. I am blessed to be cancer free and wanted to share my story to inform and help those who may face a similar trauma. Please insist on a biopsy as soon as possible and put your trust in a surgeon who will take the lead in making you feel beautiful and whole again. I'm now six months post-op healing wonderfully. When I look in the mirror I see that I'm very fortunate to have made the right choice. Dr. Miller and his entire staff are dedicated to excellence! It has been 6 months since I had my botox and although I am returning for a second round soon, my lines don't look anywhere near what they did this past November. If you are in New York, I highly recommend Dr.Rabach as knowledgable and patient. She will also not make you look crazy!!

Nothing short of amazing. Dr. Miller is highly trained in facial plastic and is also an ENT which is a plus. I finally had a Rhinoplasty after decades of being subconscious about how disproportionate my nose was to my face. From the first phone call to my last follow up, staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Before scheduling, I did a lot of research. There weren't many facial plastic surgeons who compared to him. The recovery was a breeze because they set you up to have the best post op experience beforehand which helped tremendously. I felt like I had a million questions but his Physician Assistant never made me feel like I was a bother! Pain was minimal, it is truly a mental recovery. A bit of congestion which I would compare to a cold, some minor and temporary taste and hearing difficulty because everything is connected. All subsided quickly. After the cast was removed, everyday was a little bit better. I couldn't be happier. Feels unreal honestly. And my confidence level...is on a whole other level! I like him so much I went back for some botox and filler.

do not go to this doctor for rhinoplasty. you cannot trust him. he isn't honest or trustworthy. he rushes through surgeries. after surgery my nose looks significantly wider and not symmetrical. also, joseph (the person you'll meet for consultations) looks at you like a dollar sign. he lied to me several times when we met. i felt pressured. go somewhere you feel comfortable. i spent $14k and i now have breathing issues and don't like the results at all.

I had septum reconstruction and a few other minor fixes after suffering a broken nose while training for a boxing match. Dr. Miller and everyone in the office was great. Everything to expect pre and post-surgery was explained well. The operating room was in the office, which was amazing, no hospitals, etc to deal with. I only had 1.5 days of swelling and black and blue marks on my face. I noticed a difference after a week, and then after a month I was breathing better than ever before. They encouraged me to write any negatives! So the only minor negative was a 45 min wait for one of my appointments.

I couldn’t be more pleased with being Dr Miller’s patient. He is so meticulous and thorough and his work is truly outstanding. On top of that, he is friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions/concerns related to otoplasty surgery and not once made me feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. Moreover, his staff is delightful and acts with the utmost professionalism. What differentiates Dr Miller in my opinion, apart from his being an exceptional surgeon, is his compassion. Secondly my noise is beautiful it looks like me just a bett e me. And my ears are settle but much more attractive. I went to Dr. Miller for Botox and fillers. He took his time to explain the asymmetries he wished to correct, he then marked out the areas he was going to put filler to ensure precise placement, I have had Botox and fillers but no one ever mapped out my face like that, made me feel at ease about the results. Kelly is awesome, she took my pictures and numbed me, she is very sweet, they both made me feel very comfortable. I was only slightly swollen for 2 days, not bad at all. Dr. Millers injections were spot on, I look great! I got a syringe of Voluma in my cheeks to enhance my cheek bones, Restylane in my upper lip for a little poutier pout. I also got Botox in between my brows and crows feet which slightly raised my eyebrows and opened my eyes, I look refreshed. I couldn't be happier! Bothered by my double chin for years, I recently met with Dr. Miller to discuss the different possibilities to resolve the issue that has been bothering me for years. Only had one appointment with the doctor before the day of surgery and he rushed through the appointment, did not listen to what I asked for and what I wanted, he seemed very fake in hindsight. He is a very flashy surgeon only driven by his popularity in the media, not a very genuine Doctor. It has been 4 years since my surgery and after the swelling had gone down, I noticed he really messed up my tip- it's crooked, lopsided, pointed up and had a pinched tip. The bridge of my nose had many dents left in it and my septum is still deviated. His office offered to do another corrective surgery (yeah right) for $5,000 dollars more. I'm really distraught that such a "world renowned surgeon" could mess up my nose that badly on such a routine surgery.
