I can not say enough about the professionalism, consistency, follow-through and most important, compassion of Dr. Pastorek and his entire team. Dr. Pastorek was the first doctor we had on our list of potential surgeons for my daughter's rhinoplasty. We did the rounds - twice - and in the end we met with Dr. Pastorek one more time to ensure of our decision and can not be more satisfied. The end result from an extremely complicated case, both genetically and trauma, is outstanding. The end result is the nose my daughter was meant to be born with. Having the surgery over the summer led to nice recovery period before returning back to school, however, following Dr. Pastorek's protocol she could have had the surgery done anytime, her classmates made no mention of her appearance other than "you look like you". BEST COMPLIMENT EVER!

I am a 59-year-old woman. I spent my entire life with a long bulbous nose. Although I acknowledged my inner beauty, I was always insecure about my looks. My worst feature was my nose. When I was a teenager, I had my first rhinoplasty. After surviving cancer some 7 years ago, I decided to have a revision since my nose was still big and bulbous. Unfortunately, that surgery, too, was not successful. Two and half years later and after much research, I found Dr. Pastorek. His background is impeccable: dual board certifications and performance of over 7,000 rhinoplasties. After consulting with him, I knew that he was the right surgeon to help me. He is a warm and unassuming man who made me feel quite comfortable. Dr. Pastorek spent a significant amount of time analyzing my nose. He explained precisely what the aesthetic problems of my nose were and the kind of nose that belonged on my face. In discussing other procedures of which I would benefit, Dr. Pastorek suggested an internal brow lift. He explained that due to my high hairline (further raised due to permanent hair loss from chemotherapy), the endoscopic approach previously performed could not reach the brow in such a way as to raise it. The following day, Dr. Pastorek spent time with me on the telephone, answering my additional questions. Thereafter, I scheduled both surgeries. Dr. Pastorek and his staff were kind, respectful and helpful through the entire process. Dr. Pastorek even called me the night before. I felt that I was their only patient, never rushing me. In between my follow up appointments, there were occasions where I was concerned with the lumps and bumps associated with swelling. Barbara, Gya and Reika would put my concerns at ease and encouraged me to schedule a visit if that would help. Since I do not live locally, I opted to email pictures. They assured me that the healing was progressing normally. In addition to my nose issues, I also suffer from severe acne scarring. I tried several procedures to address the scarring, such as fractional laser and phenol chemical peel. These procedures helped to a certain degree, but I still had the craters. Dr. Pastorek suggested that I try working with his lovely wife and RN, Janice, who performs some of the non-surgical treatments. So I did. Janice used a type of laser that helped with the unsightly red capillaries. She also used boletero balance for the dents, as she calls them. I also had botox. In addition, Janice even managed to make my almost extremely thin lips to become visible without looking like “duck lips”. When Janice handed me the mirror, tears ran down my face. For the first time in my life, I looked pretty. I did not look like anyone else. I looked like a beautiful version of me. I could not believe that this could ever happen to me. Of special note, is the fact that I do not look like I had work done, like some of the women on the “Housewives” franchises. Dr. Pastorek’s office is first class, and despite the Park Avenue address, is not in the least bit intimidating. Dr. Pastorek, Janice, Barbara, Gya and Reika are my beauty angels, and I am so glad that at last I found them. My inner beauty now matches my outer beauty, and I have my beauty angels to thank for that.

I can not praise Dr Pastorek and his staff enough! My daughter needed full reconstruction inside her nose and she was very nervous about doing the surgery. Needless to say, after our first meeting with Dr. Pastorek she was anxious and excited to have it done. He was so gentle with her and explained everything to her where she was not fearful at all. After the surgery, Dr Pastorek's nurse Barbara was wonderful! She prepared us fully on what to expect in the days and weeks ahead. he gave us complete and thorough instructions on how to care for my daughter. I come from out of state to see several doctors. I know some doctors need consultation fees some don’t. The front desk lady called me several times to book appointment with me for the consultation, and never mention there is a fee for it. She should at least let me know before I go. Whenever I showed up she ask me to pay? And she was soooo rude! That attitude I don’t believe this place can do a good job. Yes I pay u to make me look better and feel more confidence, but your attitude seems you only treat ur customer like a business. I have seen so many doctors! Attitude is the key, it related how he is going to treat you in the surgery room and after surgery care.

Having bumped my nose by frisbee and foot as a child, I have had surgery scheduled on 3 separate occasions before having it done by Dr. Pastorek this past Dec. Twice with another Dr and the last time with Dr Pastorek because I contracted poison ivy on my face the week of surgery! But as the saying goes, things happen when they should and I'm happy they did. The night before my surgery, I had a MAJOR migraine and was afraid I would not be up for the surgery yet again...Dr Pastorek, couldn't have been kinder, when he checked in with me the night before my surgery, YES, thats right, he calls all of his patients the night before to check in, to reassure them, to let them know that he has studied there individual case and is planning on giving it his all. I took some peppermint oil to relieve my headache, went to bed and prayed for a better morning. When Dr P heard I was not feeling well that evening, he told me not to worry, if I wasn't up for it in the morning to call his office and we would reschedule. He asked if it was nerves? Maybe a little but probably dehydration was my guess. What sticks with me about that moment, was not his concern for missing out on the surgery but for MY well being. There was no pressure or reproach about having his time set aside for me etc etc. which was the case with the prior Dr I was scheduled with. That was true class... That next morning I was headache free but a bit hesitant- its my face for goodness sakes! I took one look in the mirror with the mornings shadows and said, off you go, Girl. The entire process, was easy and pleasant;being fawned over by the many nurses and hospital assistances, the camaraderie of the other patients waiting with nervousness for their own procedures- bonds were formed. There was order and timely considerations for everyone waiting. You were scheduled and taken at the allotted time given. Nothing worse than waiting and waiting that just gives you time to become anxious, right? When I woke from the pain free operation, I marveled at how I was leaving with the tiniest of casts on my nose. I was expecting some big heavy metal gauge with tape and gauze everywhere. It couldn't have been the opposite. In fact, a dear friend who came to check in on me the following day, who is a Doc, commented how sleek and unobtrusive from others she has seen. My recovery was less than a week and my nose has never worked as well as it does now. I am finally breathing into my belly as those yoga instructors tell us to do. No, nasal drip and any numbness has been minimal and disappearing as time goes by. The man is an artist. I'm happy he found his passion and has continued to share his talents/gifts with us all fortunate to have the good sense to hire him. Thank you Dr Pastorek, I'm eternally grateful.

My experience with Dr. Pastorek and his office was hands down the best experience with a physician I have ever had. From the initial consultation, from which I was comparing multiple surgeons, he stood out as the most experienced, skilled, kind, sincere, and intelligent of the group. He walked me through exactly what he proposed to do in surgery to fix the issue, showed me before and after pictures of a plethora of similar situations on which he operated and successfully fixed, and made me feel so at ease with the pre-op process. He and his staff were the most sincere people to deal with from figuring out the scheduling / insurance / logistics of the surgery to the surgery day and through the post-procedure appointment. Dr. Pastorek reached out to me the night before surgery after he had done all of his homework again on my procedure and to put my mind at ease for the next day. The experience at the hospital was so pleasant and I came out of surgery to hear how well Dr. Pastorek thought it went. He and his staff made sure to follow-up with me several times a day in the days following surgery, just to check-in on me and to reiterate all of the post-procedure instructions. I came in to my follow-up appointment one week later and could not be more pleased with the result. Thank you for everything, Dr. Pastorek!
