I feel that a doctor’s staff is extremely important to the whole patient Doctor relationship/experience and because of how this Doctor’s office is outsourced I will not be returning and do not recommend them. I should be reviewing the doctor's medical expertise, but instead I’m reviewing how I’ve been trying to make contact with his office. I’ve been a patient here for less than a month, my first appointment was on 4-10-19 in Long Island. On May 1st, 2019 I received an email saying that they would be charging my credit card $43.06 automatically on May 6th, 2019. The email never indicates if this is the total amount for the visit or the 20 % difference I owe after they submitted my bill to Medicare. It doesn’t even indicate the services and what they charged. What’s even crazier is to try to contact the office to speak with someone about my bill is impossible, even after leaving voice messages. Today I finally realized that this medical practice outsources, from trying to contact billing, scheduling, test results etc, all are outsourced to a service that from my experience these past few days and especially today do not seem to be located in NY and possibly not even in the US.

I love Doctors at this office. Just wonderful. Dr. Murphy in particular was so amazing with my daughter but its impossible to get in touch with this Dr. Office. I was here with my daughter and every time I tried to call the office afterwards to follow up on the test we did as well as regarding sending a new perscription to the pharmacy I always get a voicemail. All day long I tried calling starting around 10am until 5pm I called 6 times texted the office as well using their online system twice and left 3 voicemails. No one called me back or responded to my text messages. Good doctors are hard to find but if you cannot get in touch with them before or after you see them than what is the point? God forbid you have some questions you better get ready to walk in the door otherwise forget it.

I’ve been to this office a few times. The office is clean, they usually have free samples around the waiting area and the staff is pleasant. I’ve never waited more 10 minutes in the waiting area and the whole visit takes less than an hour. Doctors and medical assistants are nice and knowledgeable. They use a pharmacy that delivers in the same day if the receive the prescription before 2pm. They also use Klara which is a portal you can use to communicate with the staff. I ask questions and even upload photos if necessary. They respond pretty quickly.

Did all my health history and patient registration on my phone before my appointment and was even able to make my co-payment before my appointment, so all I had to do was let them know at the front desk I was checked in. My appointment was with Dr. Libby. She was amazing. Checking in was quick with minimal wait time. My issue was after. The medical assistant was very nice & asked where to send prescription to. I gave her the info. I checked with the pharmacy but it was never called in. Call the office & spoke with a staff member & inquired about the prescription & asked the prescription to be sent to another pharmacy. Shortly after I get a text message that my prescription is ready from a pharmacy I had no prior dealing with. Call the office. Someone calls me back. First she tells me that the problem was the pharmacy on file was wrong. When I told her that the info was correct, she changed her response and says that I needed authorization for the prescription. I inform her that I never needed it before & she stated it was behind the scenes. I told her that it was not the case & she then says that it was office policy to send scripts solely to a specific pharmacy. I inquired as to why it was not disclosed at check in or by the medical assistant or the dr. & her response was they should have & apologized. The conversation goes on. I informed her that it appears that they have some sort of behind the scenes deal with the pharmacy. She agreed with me & then proceeded to sell me on the benefits of this pharmacy. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had some insurance issues when I checked in but his front desk staff was quite patient as I sorted that part out. The excisional procedure with Dr Gratch and his PA Monica was very smooth and painless. Highly recommended.

Super high tech office that has made my experience easy and painless from beginning to end. I called and left a message and was called back within 30 minutes, promptly made an appointment, added to their messaging system and continued communication electronically including an electronic check in which takes care of a lot of the paperwork before you even step foot in the door. Their actual office space is lovely and quiet. As soon you check in the nurse takes you back and my appointment was over in 15 minutes. Amazing!

Be very aware of their horrible front desk service. I was told my appointment was cancelled upon my arrival at the office. Their apology was “I called you this morning”. My appointment is at 12 and they called me at 11:17 when I was in the shower. When I called back at 11:19, no one picks up. But actually every time I called them, the call goes straight to the voicemail office. Here is the point, if the general rule is patient has to give facilities a 24 hr notice, and have to pay late/cancellation fees if not. Why your office does not respect patients the same way? I did not even get an sincere apology but a sloppy “I called you” and “person who scheduled this messed up”. It is very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Match your doctors with better front desk people.

Had a great first visit. Beautiful office, no wait for my appointment. Dr. Garshick took time to address all of my concerns. The medical assistants were also very knowledgeable and helpful.

This was the first time I saw Dr. Garshick. I was running late for my appointment and the office staff and Dr. Garshick were very understanding and still kept my appointment open for me. Dr. Garshick was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. I had seen three prior dermatologists for a skin problem that had been going on for over a year without any real help. Dr. Garshick addressed my situation intelligently and analytically, explaining her thoughts and the next steps we would take. I felt more relaxed and hopeful that my issues would finally be addressed. I highly recommend Dr. Garshick.
